Ghost of Tsushima may not be the most detailed game of all time but its definitely one of the best, from it's story to it's gameplay to the overall visuals and music, this game isnt one to miss.
I'll be resuming my normal Attention to Detail videos shortly but before that I have a few ideas for more videos on this games so I hope you'll all stick around and subscribe if you haven't already :)

like, the stealth of the ghost of tsushima is very bad, the artificial intelligence is terrible, it has a lot of polishing problems, facial expressions, bugs, low textures, horrible animations, generic history and cliche, but other than that it's a fun game, songs awesome, art direction too, cool mechanics, cool characters, etc ... I don't know if this game deserves goty
This game is fast becoming my GOTY for this year.
Absolutely amazing.
I HIGHLY recommend trying out the Japanese voicetrack as the voiceactors do an phenomenal job, sadly the lipsync is only in English but still.....I prefer it in Japanese.
Also I got a detail for you: In the 3rd area where everything is frozen when you gallop your horse on the frozen lake your horse loses traction. It feels a bit "off" when you run with your horse on full speed on the ice.
Its subtle yet noticable and a very small but awesome detail.
This game is basically a living interactive painting. Man I love this game.

Indeed, Daisuke overall did a fantastic job as Jin. Love how his performance starts out subdued, because Samurai are taught to hide emotions. Then, he starts getting more and more emotional as story progresses. Great subtle acting all around.

Kandem-Yee unfortunately not, as much as I hoped for it to be meant to be played in japanese, the lip sync and audio performance is in English. What a shame
One little detail in 'A Mother's peace's quest that I found is when Masako buried her two son's, I payed respect and leaf's started to swarm around me.
There is a hidden trophy for paying respects to secret locations, I believe this is what happens when you do because the same thing happened to me when I bowed at Taka's grave, except it was fireflies
You can also do it to your horse's grave which is titled as "An Old Friend's Grave" and even Yuriko's grave.
After completing the heavenly strike, bow at the grave near the duelling ring and you will see a lightning bolt strike a ship off in the distance.

When performing stealth kills and using poison, Jin will make comments on how it is necessary to survive e.g stealth killing a mongol followed by the line “this is how we win.”
Or when enemy is crawling and u can end his suffer..if u dont end his suffer and if u kill him with arrow or explosion jin will say u didnt deserved to die with honour
I've never played stealth expect when is mandatory. The combat is to fun to waste time for stealth especially when you play hard mode

@Solid Snake I can agree on the animation, gets clunky sometimes but the quests are enjoyable, I legit have invested my time into Masako's quest and Ishikawa cause both quests are good, however, many missions forces you to be stealthy, especially those boring "follow that guy to his hideout or base so we can kick their ass" type, it does feel boring, literally boring. Other than that, the game is really good, especially the landscape, the Island of Tsushima as a whole, feels good to explore the Island.
@Solid Snake ah i see, I find the regular quests from other side NPCS, not bad. Not as good as the story ones or mythic ones but an ok level. Super easy? I can see that, perfect parrying is just too OP, if you equip the charm that lets you perfect parry and perfect dodge every time, but I don't really use it cause it doesn't feel good for me. Even scaring the Mongols is too easy, wear some gear that has a chance to terrify enemies and some charms that do the same and then all of you have to do is to kill one guy and the rest runs real quick.

Kasumi Shinto-Ryu Kenjutsu style chiburi.
The right hand spins the katana in one revolution (to symbolically flick off blood) while the left hand holds the kashira loosely to act as a socket for the blade to rotate on and stop the spin. After the rotation, the right hand balls into a fist and knocks on the handle (to symbolically shake off any leftover blood), then the right hand grabbing the katana in a reverse grip, places it back in its scabbard.

-sometimes, after you've called the guiding wind, Jin puts attention to it or sets a leaf to see the direction
-after the patch that adds a guiding firefly, if you wait enough time Jin will look at it kinda amazed

I knew you could "bow" however I only did it to NPC after they did it to me and sometimes after I killed a entire patrol I wold bow after I took out their last man. Never tried doing it to the poor unfortunate people that fallen to the Mongols like that... wow.
This game has me that "magic" that keep's me hooked that I have not felt in a long time, since the Witcher 3 or Skyrim.
So relatable, since the witvher 3 no open world gake has been this good

When walking on snow, feet gradually sink into it and "crunches."
If you do a part 2 , here are some details i found:
1. Rain will fall from rooftops
2. Horse veins are visible
3 . If you bow to a npc he/she will bow back
4. If you get to a cold place, you will freeze to death if you don't find fire
5. The air density/visibility will change when you're too close to the fire
6. Smoke comes out of Jin's mouth
7. Jin and the npcs leave footprints in the surface they walk on
8. The physics of trees when you move in them
9. When crawling underneath the houses you will find spider nets.

The weather changes depending on how you play.
Sneaky sneaky ghost mode makes it foggy or rainy if its clear weather.
Also
The tutorial videos for the stances correlate to the element they represent.
The water stance videos have Jin fighting near water,
Stone near rocks etc
And
Each of the stances after pressing R2 represent the button
Circle is shield
Cross is the Two Crossed Swords
Triangle is the spears
Square is the shape of the brutes bodies
Oh wow, that last bit is a great way to remember which stance to use! Best tip I've come across.

You can directly change the weather by playing the flute thingy too. it has 4 music which results into 4 different weather

Another detail is when u play the flute, it changes the weather. There’s one for clear sky, storm, fog, and rain. I notice this when I platinum the game😅
Tbh it even tells you in the menu of choosing a song for the flute

@@oKnightzo there is detail that you might not have noticed. It was confirmed by the devs. If you play as The Ghost and do more stealth kills, then the weather shifts to a rainy and stormy one automatically in a few seconds

The one detail I miss is that Jins body is not covered with cuts and bruises when he takes a bath in a hot spring..
He does have a couple of scars on his face and body though

I just think it's a missed opportunity to show the wear on Jins body as he battles the whole Mongol empire. It could have been made like the further you progress in the game the more messed up Jins body becomes, while he still keeps his calm samurai fighter mindset.. That would have been an epic detail.

I'm a little disappointed theres not a lot of Easter eggs of the Kurosawa films other than Kurosawa mode. I was hoping to be able to nap similar in Sanjuro or drink heavily like in Yojimbo. If they ever make an expansion or sequel would love to see Lone Wolf and Cub. I still love the game though.
The mythic quests and character quests are interesting but the generic side quests get repetitive.
@Shashank P the Character specific sidequests are good. The mythic tales are good. Even the regular sidequests are good.
The open world collectible shit is bloated and unnecessary in my opinion. So I have to agree with you even if partially.
It's better than any Assassin's Creed though in my opinion.
Because the side stuff is still entirely optional. You don't need to grind like in Assassin's creed so I'm good.
To be fair, Jin sleeps A LOT, after every mission he's either taking a nap or leaning against a tree or napping with the horse and there are moments that let you know Jin is a heavy drinker 🤣
I got dissapointed when i realized i can't tuck my hand in my outfit and have a outfit similar to Sanjuro's from Yojimbo.
They did a perfect Japanese game.
This game is art. I enjoy riding around on Sora/Nobu. I got plat with this game. Its probably an easy plat tbh. But I loved every minute of it.
I must be slow at playing video games. I see all these people already beating the game and getting the platinum trophy but I’m still in Act 2. I’ve been playing it since the day it came out
@@THamm-xt8jm I tried to slow myself down. But with Covid out here being so bad I had like 10 plus hours a day to play. I did all the side stuff and collected what I could in each area. I still beat it so soon. It was a beautiful game and most likely will play again on the Kurosawa mode. I beat it on hard in english already.

When you draw or sheathe your sword, the sound it makes is woody, as the scabbard is made of wood and it doesn't go SCHWING(except for cutscenes) like it does in movies and other games.

The game really focused to grass moving effect with wind and leaves
Well it's pretty obvious why lol. They want the "Wind to guide you" so what better way to do that than make nearly every piece of foliage interactive by the wind.

Yeah definitly potential goty, and great game in and of itself, theres only two thing i dont like, few to no real time cutcenes, and bad lips sync. For me tlou2 is goty. Potential goty winners tlou2,GoT, cyberpunk (if it dosent delay again), and well...... really thats all i can think of.🤔

A lot of dialogue changes based on what you've done in the game. Beat a certain mission and characters will have lines about it in a side tale, or if you do the tale before main mission.
Post game has dialogue to reflect what's happened in those events in other side tales.
