Buy it! You only live onces, my grandfather had a 70's landcuiser and the new owner said it still run and drive well, my father have a 80 and 100 land cruiser diesel and until now they are still running. Land cruiser can not be stop until you bomb the engine.
You keep harping on the price.A new MB Gwagon is $200K and it is not as reliable or durable as a Land Cruiser and only seats 5,not 8 like the TLC.Sure,it's $90K but it will long outlive any $80K Lincoln SUV.Buy one and you can make plans to give it to your grandkids to drive their families around. It is by far and away the longest lived vehicle on the planet with parts made to last 25 years. That costs money. If you can afford one, buy one.You will not be in the least disappointed. They are bullet proof! I bought one 3 years ago and have not had one problem with it.I get 17.3 mpg combined. It is quiet, rides like my E-Class wagon and the visibility is outstanding. It took me years to be able to afford a new one but I am secure in the knowledge that I shall never have need to buy another vehicle.
