I just drove one yesterday and noticed a slight flutter of the hood at highway speed. Not enough to bother me though.

I have a 2018 q50 3.0 sport ( not red sport) stoke is 300hp , I have full bolt ons , upgraded fuel pumps tuned by ecutek, flex fuel kit , running e85 , just Dyno it , makes 500whp 545 ft tq , 570 hp to the crank , on stock turbos , these cars are fast! With z1 turbos you’re looking at 650 to 700 whp

Almost traded in my 23 GX and my sales guy told me.... dont do it. They had 2 and the rest were stuck at port. He said major engine issues and Toyota was issuing a recall on all their V6 turbos for 24, Tundras, GX, LX, 4 Runner.. well sure enough.. the recall is finally out and Toyota has all the GX 550 held at port, at least for most dealers. I did drive one they had there, the interior was no where near the quality of the previous model and the hood rattled at more that 45 MPH and got worse at 60. Plus engines imploding at any moment on any of these models. Hope yours is the better ones.

Only thing missing is ac console in back Toyota cheaper and has them

Has Toyota put out a TSB for the main bearing failures on the 3.4 motor? Only reason I haven’t signed up for the wait list. Can’t get a solid answer

Cool box is useless but I hear Toyota is putting them in every damn 550 even though it’s a factory option. I hope someone comes up with a way to buy the non-cool box parts to remove it.

How's the cornering, specifically body roll. I test drove a premium, and compared to my 2020 4Runner TRD Pro it rolled a lot when u-turning or in sharper corners. The Fox Shocks on the Pro do a good job with body control on-road and articulation off-road. So Iwas disappointed with the Premium version GX. So I'm wondering if the E-KDSS fixes most of the on-road handling issues?

Dealer told me you an tell Lexus voice command to turn the massaging seats on. Please let us know if that is really possible.

Sport+ makes a difference on your throttle response you are mentioning but yes a factory performance tuned gt350 isn’t even close to a comparison besides the basic body.

People are a little disappointed by the small gas tank. Looks great though.

How often does the “keep hands on wheel” message come up while driving hands free on the highway?

The pictures and videos look so good on the internet. However, I saw one today on the street and frankly I didn’t like how it looks that much in person…I still think it’s a good vehicle though. I was really thinking about getting one. But idk after seeing how it really looks, I might just stick to my 4Runner.

I read that the hood is made from aluminum and seen a video of it noticeably flexing in the wind driving at highway speeds. Personally haven’t gotten a chance to drive on the highway yet thats why I asked if you noticed it.

Quick question for you are you nervous about the reliability of that engine since tundra is having major problems I love the color I think you did a great job looks awesome. I got GX 2016 and I love it super reliable I have a trailer with some toys that I use it with the GX works great I always come home never have an issue super super reliable I'm afraid the new Toyota is not the old Toyota and I'm worrying about the quality reliability and a resale value in that exact order. Make a quality video every 30,000 miles. it'll be a good one to watch like an update believe me if I want to see the reliability back.

Congrats on the new great looking ride! What is the warranty like on the engine? I’ve been seeing many tundra’s and sequoias with the v6 twin turbo having engine issues. I have a deposit on the gx 550. But i’m on the fence between LX 570 and gx 550. I think the gx is a better looking car but having some reliability concerns.

How much dealer markup did you have to pay? They’re asking 15,000 here in California.

I thought all the OT+ came with the kick sensor. Also, how do you like the Mark Levinson system? I have an OT+ in Nori (minus black roof also) coming next month.
