    Gal is genuinely listening. And cares what he has to say. Usually actors have a response before the questions. But they're genuinely having a conversation.

    Kumail Nanjiani is so articulate and incisive in his thinking, without being obnoxious or preachy. And Gal Gadot is so open and sincere with her feelings. An outstanding combination, with each one bringing out nothing but the best in each other. Brilliant!

    • @AnarchistPoop
      @AnarchistPoop Год назад

      He felt a bit obnoxious, correcting her speech, and stating being a doctor was a matter of choosing if you want to face death or not. It really deeply isn't. Plus, putting acting in the level of careers that take so much more sacrifice and tears is ridicolous.
      He also speaks a lot and doesn't seem to be listening. Even when he speaks of her, it's him talking.

    16:07 "Wonder Woman got lucky to have you." Many people feel that way about Gal. Warner Bros. really struck gold because not only is Gal such a perfect fit for the Wonder Woman that Jenkins was trying to create but she is also - amazingly - a fantastic ambassador for the character in the media. People love her as much as or more than they do Diana.

    Scrolling through the comments it seems like a lot of people think this is the first time Gal has ever met a Muslim lol. You guys do know that although there are extremists from both sides, reality in Israel is that Jews and Muslims are living together in coexistence.. especially in blended cities as Haifa, Akko, Jaffa and even Jerusalem, believe it or not.

Things were tense lately so that was a really wonderful experience so I wanted to share. @mahanadir 6 лет назад +9

      That's what I was thinking. And Pakistan's anti Israel stance is actually borrowed from the Saudis. There has always been an informal behind the scenes collaboration (if you watch Charlie Wilson's war or read up on Musharraf trying to start a diplomatic relationship). Now that Saudi Arabia is teaming up with Israel, things could change. We all know how Saudi Arabia dictates Pakistani populations sympathies!

    • @FawadPirzada

      @umnia4316 6 лет назад +20

      Perhaps "becoming the norm" wasn't the correct choice of words, I just meant that its common to see people of color in lead roles nowadays without it being completely out of the ordinary or causing an uproar. But yes I agree, still lots of work to be done

    • @BRBallin1
      @BRBallin1 6 лет назад +1

      Color has been a factor because it was a clear indicator of cultural and personality differences. However, these people of color were born to immigrant parents or moved to the US recently, so we see a lot of different ethnicities assimilating or growing up under the same Western culture.

    • @loshan1212

      The movie was based on his personal life. So I think if it's partially autobiographical, then of course it would make sense to cast a 'brown muslim' actor. The actors identity was important to the story.

      Ananda Bliss Agree, but you have look beyond their discussion, as it is scripted and has a main topic. This goes if only the sides agree to that. In an unscripted, natural discussion, will always be interruptions, emotions, random thoughts, brain farts. Most people do not understand how to comunicate, so is unrealistic to desire this level of interaction, it's not really humane actually.

    It's unreal how beautiful Gal Gadot is. And it's just not her outward beauty. It's her inner beauty that just radiates and grabs you. I love how intently she's listening to the discussion cause a lot of actors are so self absorbed they just think about themselves.

    Good interview by both of these actors, Gal Gadot was amazing in Wonder Woman along with Chris Pine, their on screen chemistry was so brilliant, even the subtle facial expressions in the film is fascinating to watch especially Pine with how much emotion he can convey without saying any words. On top of that, having watched many of her other interviews, it's safe to say she has an incredible personality and a brilliant sense of humour, just a very happy, positive, joyful person.
    Can't wait for Wonder Woman 2, Patty Jenkins made an incredible film, one of the best superhero movies, i do wonder though how it will work without Chris Pine though as i think the two together made this Wonder Woman extra special and moving.
