Spencer yet, ironically, it’s only her talking & talking about herself on here. She should’ve practiced that quietness. Shia seems like the more interesting person
@Michael Powell Lmao... spoiled??? So you honestly know nothing about him and how he came up pretty poor because his dad was a drug addict and his mom supported them by making crafts? Chances are you're way more spoiled than he is!
When Shia said that he felt so dissatisfied in life and Kristen responds with “..but this is your life?…” and he said “Exactly.” I felt that so hard and his delivery is gutting. Shia has a presence that transcends computer screens man
I honestly think I could talk to Shia for hours. He's a 'skip the small talk, let's get straight to the existential stuff' type of person. I love people like that, but they're so hard to find.
I try to be that way. Ive been trying to go to a group where we just talk but everyone seems to just talk about "tame" or surface conversations. It'd be nice to go a little heavier, deeper. It's hard to be the one to do it though.
Shia has something good going on here. I wish he could launch a podcast where he just has actors come and expose their most vulnerable parts of their mind with him. He's the right one.
I'm so glad that we have come to a time in society where people are FINALLY willing to accept that Kristen has anxiety when it comes to interviewing and that that's perfectly FINE. She got so much hate back in the day and it was so unnecessary.
I like how imperfect and so down to earth she is and yet succeeds at acting. She is a fine example of someone that makes a lot of social mistakes just like any other human does but hers are seen as a bigger deal because she is a star and she still manages to overcome those personal struggles and seemed to have really grown into herself and accepting herself more throughout the years😊
AracelyMarie ThAts why she’s so nervous. She’s afraid he will see she is acting - even now... there’s nothing inside of many of these actors. Empty empty empty
Yeah a lot of empaths are like that, it’s to do with childhood trauma so you can see the inner child of other people/adults. It’s those without an inner child that are scary and malignant to an empath.
RainsWorld VegasSlots Actors are the opposite of empty, how else would they be able to act? She’s nervous because the conversation is triggering memories for her and it’s is being physically displayed in her body.
They both didn't go to school yet they held one of the best conversations I've seen amongst actors. Nothing fake here. Her anxiety is everywhere yet his steady calmness kept her on track. Really beautiful.
@@dylancromwell7015 Yikes, were you even listening? That couldn't be further from the truth. She has put so much thought into acting and her experience of it that it's actually overwhelming trying to put it into words. But you will rarely see actors so openly grappling with their occupation and exposing themselves like that.
@@dylancromwell7015 You said she made no sense and had limited vocabulary and thought, and I tried to explain why it's actually the opposite. She's thought so much about it that it's hard to express and she was picking her words carefully. And about asking questions back, well, I'm not sure why you think that's necessary given her comment about 'mirrors'.
somsoc her comment about mirrors....lol she never asked a question hahah and how do you know her thought? All I was saying was compared to Shia she seemed like she was bumbling and couldn’t come up with words. You can pretend to understand her thinking as much as you want but I’m just taking what she’s saying and all the broken sentences as it was extremely difficult to understand her “um fuck I’m like okay whatever”
This artist-to-artist interaction needs to happen more often. Interviewers, no matter how good, never get to this level of realism. Loved the chance to see this intimate conversation.
Darvyn M nonesense! Can’t you see all they quality time being spent with their kids... while at the same time typing scam messages on RUclips? Now THAT’S quality! On second thought, maybe Helen should go back to work. She seems like a really shitty parent.
most people dont like what they dont understand me Personal I give people the benefit of the doubt people didn't understand what shia went through in his life so when he screwed up they all turned on him Because they wanted shia to act a certain way the way they where Used to and when they seen a Different part of him they split those people are called In the sports world Bandwagonr's And watch when he starts acting like the shia they are used to they well jump right back on the wagon but in my eyes hes been winning all along just in his way If you live life trying to please everyone else but yourself that well end up in you Trapped on an island in the middle of nowhere subconsciously,. lol sorry I get deep when it comes to him that's my dude !!
They're both narcissists who say and do things that offend most people. He's been abusive to women and she got caught cheating with a married man, even though she knew his wife and two kids. These aren't things that decent people give you a pass on. It's not that hard to understand, plus in her case, she has no range as an actress and people get tired of seeing her play herself in film after film.

@@FrancoKTA Why she does what she does. I couldn't know though. I just meant she's clearly backing away from Shia's perspective in this interview. Her sarcasm is telling. He knows what acting is. Unless you've seen others who've been through what he has, they don't. Many people are great without reflecting on what they're doing. Many others reflect and can never be great again. A select few understand what they're doing, why they do it and do it exceptionally. He's actually getting there. She's lost. Charlie's Angels? Really?!
youtoober2013 You should watch her Hot ones interview (the hot wings show) she just did. I think you will get a better understanding of why she acts the way she does. It start the same as this one you know she is kinda on the defensive. But you see her open up as she can tell from Sean’s questions he is asking genuine questions and I actually curious about who she is as a person. I mean remember how much shit she got when those twilight movies first came out. And even after they were done she constantly asked about her relationship (which was super messy if I remember right) and about the twilight movies. If you ever seen her talk about those movie you can tell she doesn’t give a fuck about them. So I think she just grew to hate interviews and is alway instantly defensive at the beginning of them. Like she thinks your going to take jabs at her so she throws them first. TLDR: Watch her hot one interview. I think it will change your outlook on her and help you understand why she kinda defensive in interviews. It did for me at least.
@@FrancoKTA I was disappointed in this interview _because_ I watched the Hot Ones interview when it came out. This one obviously happened first. That's why she mentioned Shia off-hand. Thing is Sean is amazing at what he does, but he knows well that his job is to make his guests as comfortable as possible, so they can open up to his personal questions under the heat stress. The whole premise of the show is genius. Taking interviewers out of a show is also smart. That's why I usually enjoy actor on actor interviews... and especially comedians. It's not about the people it's about the art. She acted like this was an interview about her... it wasn't supposed to be, the whole purpose of these interviews is to be more vulnerable and open with the chemistry between the like minded. Shia was really diving in -and immediately like she noted, to the point of the interview. It may seem like she doesn't want to reveal some side to herself or something, but in reality it's because she doesn't even know that side of her herself. That's why she does movies that no one hears about and then a movie like Charlie's Angels... let alone start in a movie like Twilight. The drama involved with that position should have been obvious. She's clearly always felt uncomfortable in regular interviews, which is the reason why she shouldn't have felt weird in this one, but she made it weird. This is coming from an "agent told me to do it" perspective and I think that if she was confident in the reasons she wanted to act like many certain strong females that she has in underrated films, then she would be able to talk about it. _Especially_ with another actor _ESPECIALLY_ with a guy like Shia... -no, there is no guy like Shia... she wasted a great opportunity to figure out why she uses art as a conduit for love. The way she talked about her family... sad. Reminds me of that kid from Pewdiepie's latest Dr. Phil episode that doesn't talk to his mom because she doesn't do anything to make him "relevant". It's a sorry case of being lost in life, only in Kristen's case here, she actually has talent and a seemingly really cool personality, but it's all the chips you hold on your shoulder that ultimately weigh anyone and their craft down. Shia on the other hand is constantly shedding even every skin. Charlie's Angels? Seriously?!
I feel for Kristen in this interview. Shia is so deeply honest and direct which seemingly scares her when he goes straight for the brutaly honest questions that requires you to be 100% grounded in your own skin. He does an amazing job answering her deflections, whilst not letting her off the hook on the hard questions that can be difficult to face with great follow up questions to really have her dig deep.
I think she did a great job even understanding what he was asking most of the time. When she said, "Do YOU think that?" it does get to the point of, he's actually making a ton of statements about his views while framing it as a question. He didn't really answer questions too deeply, he framed most things as questions. I do this a lot too and there are some unfortunate implications about that.
Yes and I think she does but didn’t want to admit that as powerful quiet ness a bit manipulative and covert passive aggressive toxic controlling behaviour
I wish more people understood quiet people like he seems to. I’ve had too many people ask “why are you so quiet?”, it comes across as condescending and judging.
@@RickyMackie Which you -judge- as condescending.... It can easily be a genuine question from people who would like to simply understand why you are being more quiet than they themselves would be. As to get an insight into your thinking, which they don't get if you say nothing out of your own initiative. Apparently they are interested in you and you make it out to be something negative. Geez... Also, people who are not quiet by character are often only quiet when they feel left out or not at ease. It is not so strange that they project this onto other people as well. Maybe next time someone tries to involve you in conversation, you can think it is nice of them instead of having negative feelings.
Shia needs to do his own podcast interviewing ppl like this WE NEED this, he’s so f’ing interesting to watch interact with others off script Hot Ones was GOLD
She has a nervous energy the whole time whilst being totally engaged mentally, This interview, in my humble opinion, is about as authentic as you’re going to get in Hollywood today. Really interesting and insightful.
He was in a good place here. For the Fast Times table read more recently he was not. Hopefully he's not doing recreational drugs because if you need psych meds, which he does, you also need to not do random drugs that weren't prescribed to you, it does not work. You literally can't evaluate accurately what your psych meds are doing. And that's the kind of failing that ain't worth shit.
Nice ...Idk!!! But....His past History is so Disturbing!!!! Does People know Shia Labeouf has Many Abusive Allegations by All of his Ex-Girlfriends.He is literally Described as a "Psychopath".
The thing with Kristen is that she tries to awkwardly joke around a bit, I think in part because she's so anxious, and sometimes she mocks him in a playful way to lighten up the mood but he doesn't let her have it, he is so proud of his responses and interested in deep diving into the other person's feelings, he emanates that "I understand that you're trying to be funny because you're looking for relief from this serious thing we're talking about, and I know you're doing things like these because you think what you're saying may be silly, but I want you to know that I take you seriously" vibe. He has such a powerful energy and it's a joy to hear him speak, he has definitely a darker side to his words, but it's just a part of him speaking the truth.
So on point! I love his intense and serious approach, and how unapologetic he is because that is his norm. Ever since he’s released this film I have researched his interviews and realized he’s absolutely misunderstood and mislabeled. People are not used to his cerebral level of conversation.

he didn't have much opportunity to talk about himself - she didn't ask him any questions that weren't throw backs, "what about you?", to questions he asked her
I think went in knowing he was going to play the part of interviewer so that he could control the situation and deflect questions easier, and she sense this and took the role of a person being interviewed. I think he's REALLY self aware and intelligent, and perhaps a bit manipulative.
@@rnshi i wouldnt call it manipulative, i see it as great room reading, adapting yourself to who you are talking to, without him triggering her in a way the conversation would not have momentum, at least thats the vibe i get from her aswell, she is clearly introverted so she needs that spark ignited by the other person, without him taking that role in the conversation there would just be a void. If anything his energy is nothing but friendly, otherwise she would just answer things way more directly and briefly and close down.
I very much vibe with kristen. I just don't really stutter or take breaks on convo. I'm just so anxious it's more like uninterrupted stream of consciousness.
I totally get that. I 'm uncomfortable being placed with people I don't know closely, I'm a little geeky in some ways. Shia has a gift for listening, with his Aquarius Ascendant, Mercury/Venus in Cancer, Jupiter in Pisces, this is an individual with incredible patience with people, and true desire to want to understand them. I doubt he understood everything she says but he's probably not a very judgmental person, he's trying his best that's for sure. He knows how to put people at ease, and when he speaks of LOVE he means it. Aquarius/Cancers (and Libra/Pisces to a degree) are the signs of therapists. I was surprised how many therapists I knew personally had those signs prominent in their charts.
This is chemistry on another level. They really just seem like they get each other, and maybe it's because of the loveable awkwardness of them both. Great interview.
I just want to hug Shia. He seems like such a genuine, deep, but still hurting individual. I really hope making Honey Boy is a big step forward for healing himself.
Well said. We've all f?cked up - Shia just did it on a bigger scale with more notoriety than most. But he comes across like a big brother. And it's great that he's so open about his struggles. And he is a movie star in the best sense. He's always the best thing in whatever he's in.
Dude...these two together is the most amazing thing I've ever watched. The understanding and compassion they both have and the willingness to be forward with everything. No words can explain.
He did a lot of diving into his own during his childhood. If you’ve heard him speak about his upbringing, he’s definitely had more time than most to think about himself and how to articulate himself better so that people REALLY understand what he’s feeling.

I am suspecting that Kirsten may be on the autism spectrum. She said several things that point in that direction. For instance having such a hard time getting herself started in the morning. Many autistic women are gay or bi. Autism goes along with a lot of anxiety. Acting isn't an obvious choice of career for an autist, though...
@DAVE ADAM (1) It's not a fictitious condition. (2) I am not imagining anything particular about her personal life. I'm just noticing that a number of things that she revealed about herself match the diagnostic criteria for autism in grown women. (3) It's not about being horrible to her. She is obviously plagued by a high level of anxiety. This sort of thing can be debilitating. It's actually really sad that a lot of women don't get a diagnosis and struggle when they could, instead, get the proper help and support. Autism is an invisible disability, which unfortunately goes hand in hand with a high rate of suicide. The growing awareness of it is a good thing, both in terms providing more adequate help to those affected, but also in terms of showing the proper understanding and care to someone who doesn't function like most people do. (4) Kristen doesn't provide enough info to know for sure if she has high-functioning autism, but it's a possibility.
@DAVE ADAM There are several straw men in what you just wrote, and I won't take the time to correct them all. You sound like a fan and I am sure that you know a lot more about Kristen than I do. Autism isn't a fictitious condition. You are the one who is uninformed if you think that Jenny McCarthy is an authority on the matter. Within the autism spectrum, there is a variety of IQs. Many geniuses are actually on the autism spectrum, and many historical figures are suspected to have been autists. If you are right when you say the following, it actually supports my suspicion instead of undermining it: "She is in fact high functioning genius, incredibly intelligent, incredibly well-read, highly introspective, and also somewhat shy." That's what a high-functioning female autist looks like. They are otherwise known as nerds.

So glad Shia is getting the respect he deserves finally dude is brilliant, flawed, honest, open hearted and beyond talented and deserves to be acknowledged
Shia doesn’t even know the talent he has. He always talks about being in the presence of greatness and not feeling good enough but he himself is next level!!
I’ve loved Shia since he was a child actor and him saying he feels like he isn’t good enough around people who went to school to become actors just breaks my heart. He is so good at what he does. From serious films to transformers.
I agree. I relate to Shia as a person, from my perspective. I love him. He feels real to me and he struggles deeply in a personal way , just like i do. He thinks and feels deeply, and when you're surrounded by insincerity and shallowness it is super super depression and anger inducing. I feel he is burdened by these things, and i love him for that because it makes him someone i can relate to and know im not the only model of my brand of human. Life is extremely Hell riddled when you have a full reservoir boiling underneath your skin and there is very little outlet, often NO Outlet at all aside from creative writing, to release little star systems worth of your inner galaxy. A firestorm that needs to burn if it is to survive, and everyone who encounters it attempts to lock it in the freezer. This continually reoccurring directly produces extreme anger, resentment and depression. Jesus, if i could give you this feeling, you would understand the burden. P.s.: Once i started typing this i kind of blacked out and just started expressing myself and i actually forgot i was simply replying to someone, sorry if it was long winded. But everything i said was honest so ill just keep it the way it is. Peace and Love to you. We share Love for Shia, i think that that is significant.
Honestly the movie where I knew his talent was so beyond the norm, was in the movie, "The necessary death of Charlie Countryman". Holy shit . That movie was an experience ♥️!
Let's stop bringing Kristen down due to her anxiety but instead acknowledge her courage to step out of her comfort zone as a form of living. Kristen has anxiety and that's what makes her human which I respect her for being so transparent. Shia has come so far and that is due to healing which shows through his interviews and craft. This duo shows how conversations are so crucial in today's society. Think about the well-known geniuses/creators who have been shut down because of their awkwardness. These actors are relatable and that's why they stand out off and on camera no matter the harsh criticisms.
I luv how these two communicate, in many sentences they don't even complete their sentence before the other picks up what they are trying to say, they finish off each others sentences, it is amazing how well some can connect and understand each other.
"Do you know the power of your silence?" damn, his mind. He honestly sees things in a very perceptive way. Edit: (this is what i meant in a bit more detail) As an introvert, this really made me see myself in a different way. When i share my thoughts i share it to those close to me, and those who i trust or respect. thats also power. i used to see myself as weak for not jumping into conversation but that sentence from shia changed that perception. it really struck me!
I agree. When he said that it made me realize how the way he looks at things can have a bigger perspective. Being quite the way he explained it was speechless
no Bro I feel like so many people out there don’t think for themselves, so when they hear something like what he said they go crazy over it lol. Like people, you must think deep yourselves.
She's never been honest about anything in her life. She got caught lying and sneaking around with a married man, then she was in the closet for years before her own mother outed her, she got caught lying about how she decided to work with accused pedophile Woody Allen, then it's "I'm sooo gay," then two weeks later, "I'm bisexual," then "I'm fluid, isn't everyone?" the list is endless. She couldn't tell the truth to save her life. She's the biggest fake in Hollywood. She changes her story daily.
Also, Shia was so amazing and respectful in his questions but especially how attentive he listened to her. I don’t think he interrupted her once when she was speaking. Not even when she was struggling to get her words out. He also also replied to her on topic of what she just said and proved he was 100% attentive and present. I really just got a lot of respect for this guy. He’s intelligent, well spoken and sensitive. His PR team has been asleep the last 15 years.
Shia talking about how he is deeply dissatisfied in life, and he can’t enjoy things in life other than while he is on set was the most mind blowing analogy I’ve ever heard. Crazy. I think it’s quite an interesting way to apply to many other things in life.
He listens so intently to her, like he’s trying to learn something. And I didn’t realize I liked Kristen Stewart so much. I love how she puts a sentence together.
@@nathgomez4750 i feel like that's because she's so used to being interviewed by an interviewer that's the only one asking questions, so getting a chance to ask back must feel weird for her! I love when Kristen talks about having to read it out loud and let yourself experience the piece as close to first hand as you can because there is something in the work that you crave. Her mind and the way she articulates feelings hits me so deep it’s hard to explain.
I’m so obsessed with this. I come back to it all the time because I feel the way Kristen speaks is how I speak - there’s so much I want to say and sometimes it comes out too fast and not as clearly put as it feels in my head. And Shia is such a force of intellectual prowess while also being warm and inviting and he just makes me want to think more about everything at all times. Shia is so underrated and beautiful and Kristen is rarely this outspoken so this interview is so special.
She usually say 3-4 sentences that were just not needed. Its not that you have so much to say. Its more problem that you are not able to find the right words and you keep talking instead of working on the thought you want to express. Just take your time. Its better to be silent and speak slow than what she was doing there. This interview could have 10min and you would get same information value from it if she would be able to express her thought clearly.
Fucking same like people commenting "anyone know what they're talking about" or about anxiety etc. like ok. But I get everything like it's weird cause I've never seen such raw shit from actors and something that's so reflecting of how u act on ppl who r super amazing at what they do. It's crazy
I feel genuine warmth from Shia in this interview. He is able to be still, solid-- like a patient anchor for Kristen. She rewards that with truth-- raw, explosive thought and realizations. From watching this video, I feel that it would be a worthwhile experience to simply sit in/on comfortable furniture in Shia's company. I suspect he could hold eye contact, smile, with no speech needed and the environment feel comforting. I suspect Kristen able to share/instill so much enthusiasm/passion that she feels a responsibility to contain herself, for the safety of others. :D
I literally wrote the same thing. My brain sounds just like that. And if I can't control it people usually tell me the same. Calm down, breath. Or what!? But I don't know which way out of the ten ways to say it is best. Lmao. So.... I don't need to breath as a I can talk fast without having to breath. Always have.
Yes. I felt like that too. I think that perhaps is a defense mechanism on Shias part. And Kristen just seems happy that she can talk with someone on her intelligence level/weirdness level, IMO
Many people have been so hard on her for being „awkward“, funny thing I feel like it‘s the other way around; she is an actual human being in a society and business that‘s all shine and plastic and glitter fake smiles
Shia's presence is almost unnerving.. it's so rare to see someone be so raw and real (in hollywood & in real life) and you can tell Kristen is like "oh,, so we're answering answering"
Agree the way he just said it said how extremely desatisfied he was in his real life i was taken a back, kris too. He s this unnerving way to be honest. You don t expect that and it s compelling. @@shobhakumari6523 That shocked me after watching this interview. I wouldn’t have guessed that he was an abuser, I guess this is the perfect example of never really knowing people via a screen.
Shia is an outstanding interviewer. Most interviewers laugh at their own jokes and talk about themselves but he actually listens to the person speaking.
It’s not supposed to be an interview and that’s the problem. It’s supposed to be a conversation. This is basically him blasting her with question after question because he’s afraid to talk about himself, or lacks the ability to.
Um, I disagree like Kirsten stated so many times during this interview, this is not the appropriate setting to be vulnerable! 1- they barely know each other 2- this is taped on camera for millions to watch Kirsten is aware of her feelings and who she is, and she's smart enough not to share them with whoever, that's called boundaries! Which Shia doesn't have a concept for, because he can't even feel! So this is just an opportunity for him to capture someone else's capacity to feel and expose it the world! The guy needs help reading his own self!
@@miamay7688 Not true at all. Shia is completely capable of reading himself. He genuinely cares about what Kristen has to say and he wants to learn her as a person. Who she TRULY is. He is a very intelligent individual and he cares for people in a very deep way. Thats why his questions are so thought provoking, and in this video, you can see him focusing on her and really trying to learn and understand her. Which he showed multiple times. One of the issues here is that Kristen is extremely anxious and just keeps talking and talking. There really isn't many times where she stops and really tries to know Shia. She obviously asks, "What about you?" But her questions are nearly as deep or come across quite as sincere as Shia's do. One example of Shia not having an issue talking about himself is when he expresses that he requires acting as a conduit to love. And he finds it difficult to enjoy things outside of acting. That was an extremely in depth and honest answer that he gave. Not something many people would share through such a public setting like this. All in all, I just personally disagree with your comment. He understands boundaries, he is just more capable about being fully open with himself than she is.
BadMannerKorea I agree up to a certain point. There’s a moment where he’s asked a question and answers shortly and moves on to his previous question to her to which she replies “this guy”, when he notices what he’s doing, gives a more thorough answer. I feel like he was just very interested in learning about her and maybe trying not to take over the whole thing too much? I mean, from what I’ve seen from him, he loves to talk and be listened, so maybe he was trying to be polite and humble. I never see this as conversations rather like a two-way interview with a specific and personal goal in mind. You don’t get to learn a lot about the movies or even the person, just their relation to their craft.

The camera doesn't even dare show her frustration, she was really feeling bombarded by his questions like the guy was seeing things that weren't even there! This interview reminds me of dates where the guy is fangirling so much, you just can't wait for it to be over, so you can leave and block his ass!
shia's even MORE intense than kristen, who knew that'd be possible. EDIT: yes I know that Shia is really intense, I was more so commenting on that fact Kristen is often seen as odd/strange/insecure and I feel like she’s normally the one who mystifies the interviewer. But you can tell in this interview that she is kind of stumped by shia, which I haven’t really seen from her. That’s all I’m saying 😊
It is a different intense. Hers is an insecure not sure but passionate type and He is the learned it, confident passionate with humility type. His "dominant but kind personality" is beautiful!!
I think the word you are looking for is 'pretentious'. Although Shia is nutty, not pretentious, and Kristen's whole objective in interviews is to appear like this person that is so complicated. It is annoying as fuck.
She's very lovable, and I hope she can get the right meds that make her mind not race like this, because I have mind-racing anxiety too and it really sucks.
@@thebrazilianatlantis165 no one needs meds for this, we gotta stop always seeking pills lol I have this too and it takes a while do manage tbh. Talking with myself helps a lot
@@marianne22222 "no one needs meds for this" Absolute nonsense. I would know. If you can get by without meds I am happy for you and you are not in the kind of boat Kristen and Shia and I are in, so don't say "no one," it's preposterous.
@@thebrazilianatlantis165 You can get by without meds as well. Meds might be a temporary solution in cases where someone is already too deep into their own beliefs their feelings of anxiety (or depression) are so special that it can not be overcome like the rest of the population do/did, who also experienced depression, anxiety etc. And some to a more extreme level than yours, that is one certainty you always have: someone else had it worse and also managed their way our. The long term solution is to work on your self image and decide you want to be better. And that is very, very, very much easier said then done, but it is the only way out. Cognitive (behavioral) therapy can help with this, but in the end it is the decision you make yourself. Keeping yourself numb on medication, so you will not have to deal with your demons is not the answer. And almost every doctor outside the US will tell you so and only prescribe medication as part of the treatment and not as the solution to the problem. Good luck on your journey of becoming a self reliant human being.
@@thebrazilianatlantis165 I'm not sure why you deleted your comment. Even if you disagree with someone, why is it so hard to explain why? You said: - "decide you want to be better" _Wow_. Mental illness gets much worse than you think it does. "You can get by without meds as well." No, I literally can't. - If you have other mental conditions in addition to 'anxiety' you might need meds, I was talking specifically about anxiety, because that was what your first comment was about as well. Noone needs meds for 'anxiety', that is an American invention that has spread to some other countries. You don't get meds for this where I am from. And not because of a lack of resources or something. There has been a pretty extensive discussion about the use medication for anxiety and the research does not indicate this is a good long term solution. Maybe in some very extreme cases the SSRI's for short term use (few months up to approx. a year) to make the therapy a bit easier to effectively start, but definitely not longer than a year and definitely no Benzodiazepines or TCA's. And it is not needed, it makes it easier (or less difficult I should say). Anxiety is best dealt with behavioral therapy, hence the 'decide you want to be better'. Which is obviously a simplification, as behavioral therapy approaches the issue in a more elaborate way. You so easily say ' I hope she can get the right meds for this' , but when someone says that I also read ' I hope she can get the right life-ruining addiction for this' and that is why I argue against this 'meds are the answer' view. It is the lazy way and it does not solve the problem. I am sorry if you feel insulted in any way, I do not mean any of this to be. I am also very sorry if you are brainwashed into believing you are going to be dependent on meds for the rest of your life. That is a crime. Good luck.
Listening to how hard these two work, how much they care, the meticulous preparation and embodiment, weird processes and obviously profound respect for the art form, and then considering the petty, idiotic media and gossip driven nonsense that comes with their jobs, I feel grateful for venues like this where they can share their real ideas and selves.

youtoober2013 You should watch her Hot ones interview (the hot wings show) she just did.
@@FrancoKTA
I was disappointed in this interview _because_ I watched the Hot Ones interview when it came out.
Well said!
Yes! And that’s exactly why I personally think Shia is an awesome person & deserves forgiveness from his previous ill behaviors
Shia is a good interviewer.
I would probably have ''gay panic'' sitting across from Shia hahahaha
"You gotta know the power of your quiet". - Sia LaBeof

Which part?
Go look it up in a dictionary. So if you’re chalking IQ and intelligence up to solely vocabulary (which is a shit way to judge intelligence by the way) Shelia’s easily in the gifted population. Angelicia lyngskor I agree
Yes and those that have had therapy got this right!?? :)

I don't think he's hurting more than a lot of celebs... it's just that his mistakes were very public and he's been so open about his trauma.

Shia should host his own show where he just talks to different actors. He is great at getting personal and diving into peoples psyche.
He did a lot of diving into his own during his childhood. If you’ve heard him speak about his upbringing, he’s definitely had more time than most to think about himself and how to articulate himself better so that people REALLY understand what he’s feeling.

I’ve never been into an interview where I’m like I can’t stop watching this. This was amazing. I loved how deep they got with each other.
Shia is kinda mesmerizing. Kristen thinks so many thoughts that she can't quite get them all out. I feel like that a lot.
Exactly. I have so many thoughts running in my head at a time that it is difficult to articulate myself.
@DAVE ADAM Autism isn't a mental health issue, either. It's a developmental condition. My sister has it, and she is a bank director.

This duo shows how conversations are so crucial in today's society. Think about the well-known geniuses/creators who have been shut down because of their awkwardness.
Or what!? Shia is an outstanding interviewer. Most interviewers laugh at their own jokes and talk about themselves but he actually listens to the person speaking.
It’s not supposed to be an interview and that’s the problem. It’s supposed to be a conversation. This is basically him blasting her with question after question because he’s afraid to talk about himself, or lacks the ability to.
Um, I disagree like Kirsten stated so many times during this interview, this is not the appropriate setting to be vulnerable!
1- they barely know each other
2- this is taped on camera for millions to watch
Kirsten is aware of her feelings and who she is, and she's smart enough not to share them with whoever, that's called boundaries!
@@eyesintheroad What about 3:29 "Jesus Christ!"!
If you have other mental conditions in addition to 'anxiety' you might need meds, I was talking specifically about anxiety, because that was what your first comment was about as well.
Good luck.

They both say almost nothing with words, it's almost all tone, inflection, and expression. This whole thing is really uncomfortable for me to watch and try to follow.
hahaha exactly
@@scottleggejr nah Shia is not like that at all he's just mirroring her .
She doesn't really know how to Express herself with words off guard so when you hear or see something that's easy enough to understand or relate to you fill in the blanks and really that's life and how perceptions are formed from person to person
@@adasaura8648 she has a great vocabulary so I doubt that she finds it hard to find words to express something ..
Shia is no longer skinny he is now LeBuff.
Michael Yung 😂 FR
This deserves to be recognized 😂😂
facts lol. make this dude the next James Bond.
He has now, truly, lived up to his family name of "The Beef."
Juice’n?
Shia comes off so genuine, and I love how thought-provoking his questions are.
I relate to Kristen's awkwardness and shyness so much. That's why I love her so much. She's an amazing actress as well.
I hate when people make fun of her for it, I have severe social anxiety along with autistic traits where I’m very awkward talking to people, and I can’t imagine being famous with all of that :/
Whoever put these two together is a f*** genius. I could watch them all day.
becky sassone 100% agree!
The thing with Shia he doesn’t mind exposing himself on a deep level
He puts himself out there. It’s good people can relate 👍🏼
Dave Moss it’s strategic.
These two help me accept my awkwardness.
Yes.
Does People know Shia Labeouf has Many Abusive Allegations by All of his Ex-Girlfriends.He is literally Described as a "Psychopath".
@@shobhakumari6523 he's been through a lot in his life which is not an excuse but an explanation. he has ptsd which leads to many similar outbursts and reactions to someone who is abusive. he is clearly not a psychopath and that is a very big claim to make. watch his movie honey boy.
@@am.starzz I have watched "Honey Boy". I understand he has gone through a lot in his Childhood but that does not mean he has not made Female Victims of his own.
He needs help or Advice to at least cope with his past and People need not to just pass a (No danger) when there is obviously females affected by him.
Man, the dude skimming the line between genius and madness, the girl a walking panic attack. This is something else to watch. I wouldn't be able to interact with any of them without constantly shaking my head about how far removed from my way of thinking or living they are and still I love them and I love their passion.
how do you see your way of thinking as different from theirs?
@@Plan-ETs well for a starter they both seem to be very spiritual and creative people while I am very logical and scientific.
