Although I have never owned or driven a Ferrari I have driven other powerful performance cars and can appreciate the feeling of driving on the edge of it’s capability. What is sad is the end of ICE power appears to be legislated out of production. The sound and feel of the alternative’s can never replicate the ICE engine. The performance envelope of these new exotic’s have achieved such a high level driving them on public roads approaching their potential is practically impossible unless driven on a track. Great review of the car and your emotions.
all exotic ICE will soon become the preserve of multi millionaires only as demand outstrips supply....No doubt the Gov will also make them punitive to drive with ludicrous levels of multi layered taxation

@@davidstuart4915 Yes, most likely ICE supercars will accrue high taxation rates as a form of social engineering, but super-powered electric cars will soon bump up against a differing form of regulation. That 1000 HP Tesla many are fawning over will get the axe as well. When one of your plain-jane electric cars are sucking up energy equivalent to twenty homes worth of electric power...and that 1000HP Tesla is drawing power equivalent to one-hundred homes worth, things will change rather abruptly I would think.

Included in the thousand things I could come up with is:
Power limit to 350 bhp / 350lb ft / ton and weight limit vehicles by class (eg a 2 seater to say 1500kg)
Speed limit to 100mph
Acceleration limit equiv of 0-100k to 4.5 secs (any quicker is irresponsible for general public)
DVLA camera to include noise monitors to auto levy punitive taxiing on noise pests
Stricter noise requirements on tyre manufacturers....
The ONLY car show that is worth to watch!
They were a real thing 10 years ago and VBH as usual introduce the F12 in fine style, Traction control on was a smart choice but id suspect demanded by The Factory.
At that time though id have chosen a Lambo, certainly stood the test of time a little better.
She says traction control fully OFF! Crazy.

Fun review. As a recently new owner of an F12 this car truly is a hoot. I prefer it over the 812 Superfast as I tuned it and changed out the exhaust. It's truly an animal. The MPG though is more like 7-8MPG. 🤣

a F1 Cars has had much more power than this Engine, but fine.
That is not a car that flatters its driver... It was too much for Clarkson, which must be annoying for him knowing that horse was made to prance by a girl. ;)
She's actually been a racing driver, she's a much faster driver than Clarkson, or you, or me or anyone else commenting on here. She grew up racing against people like David Coulthard.

I would rather have the LC500 any day. Way way better car and I am sure it costs less. For sure it will not be a money pit like the Ferrari.
