    This is exactly what I was looking for! My son and I are planning a trip to Japan this fall and needed a capsule hotel with women and men’s floors . It’s right across from station it’s perfect! Thanks for sharing!

    昨年、大宮の方のイージーステイに宿泊しました。カプセルホテルなのに窮屈に感じない素晴らしいお宿でした。大宮の方はフードもあって、カレーにお茶漬けにインスタントラーメンが常時食べ放題でした(ソフトクリームとドリンクは大宮にもあり)。

    I found this one of the most lovely interiors for a capsule hotel 😊 All the details and finishings just looked lovely and the lounge space very modern and fun and showers very clean and fresh. The walls were plywood (or similar) and I've seen these in finished construction in some tiny homes where they are the perfect finish. Definitely a place I'd love to stay at 😊

      Whether you consider the interior pretty or cheesy is up to the individual. I think it is cute. It is a lovely hotel, and you should definitely visit it when you come to Japan!! Thanks for your comment.

    I think I'd be confused for an Osakan, as I'm right-side dominant and I would need to hang on to the right side of an escalator to feel balanced.

    • @TokyoCapsuleCollection
      @TokyoCapsuleCollection  Год назад +4

      Opening one side of an escalator walkway is confusing. The real rule, however, is to stand on both sides of it. It is really confusing!!

    • @TokyoCapsuleCollection
      @TokyoCapsuleCollection  Год назад +4

      Small suitcases can be left inside the room. Large suitcases should be placed in the hallway and secured with a chain lock. Japan is a safe country, so there is no need to worry about them being stolen!!

    • @TokyoCapsuleCollection

      You cannot talk on the phone in the capsule. Such large suitcases must be chained to a pillar in the hallway. Japan is a very safe country, so the contents of your suitcase will not be stolen.

      They would have coated the multi strand chip-board with clear varnish to remove any roughness. Many modern building incorporate this type of rough design within the building as kitchen cupboards or seating furniture. If done correctly it does look brilliant!!
