It even has TV inside!!! This is the first time I saw capsule hotel with a TV in the capsule❤❤❤Wonderful! I will want to stay one night there next time I go to Japan.😃😃😃
Even when not taking into account the recently weak yen, the prices at the café are very decent. Here in Germany it would be way more expensive, add 30-50% to everything.
Regarding the washlet toilet. I have had one in my homes (serial homes, not multiple homes owned concurrently) for over 10 years now. A friend (and my contractor) told me about them when we were building our home at the time. Best decision ever to include. We have changed houses (downsizing) but had washlets installed in each home. Wouldn’t live without one if we own the home.
I wouldn't feel comfortable staying here. Nice but the shared bathrooms. No doors for the sleeping room. Coffee area is nice. Soft serve ice cream that's a plus nice but not a stay for me.Great video !!!
I want to live in this new capsule Hotel. It would be like living in a Space ship on my way to a new planet. I would never leave the ship. Please put me in " Lock Down " here during the next Pandemic.
I love your channel- very relaxing while being informative at the same time. I have a question, is it possible to book capsule hotels if you have luggage other than a backpack? Or would that be an uncomfortable experience?
Looks like @3:48 has a bit more room than deluxe? It does have nice amenities and the cafe and donut shop is a nice touch. Not sure about curtains as I prefer doors but overall thanks for the tour.
I believe that door you were orgininaly trying to enter was probably not where your room was which was why it denied your card and accepted your card on the door to the eating room as your cabin was their!
I'm so impressed how clean everything it. So many free items, shampoo soaps, foods drinks. It's pretty sad to think what would happen to someplace like this is America. Makes me embarrassed and sad.
01:07 , 18:10 What is that sound/peeping? That sound occurs a lot in Tokyo videos. EDIT. Hmm, I guess it has something to do with traffic lights, the footpath and hearing impaired people? If so, what a great invention! But anyway, love the video. I want to sleep in a capsule hotel some day! 🥰 There is no capsule hotels in my country.
Crime and theft is pretty low in Japan - in public places like train stations, you can typically set your stuff down and walk a short distance away without worrying about someone taking it, and there are fewer "bad areas" where you feel legitimately unsafe. And while it's not the case here, some capsule hotels have stiffer curtains and/or allow you to more securely "lock" the curtain from inside (e.g. using metal hooks). It's definitely not as secure, but it's not the same concern as it would be in someplace like NYC. Also, IIRC, capsule hotels were originally built for Japanese salarymen: they'd go out drinking after work, miss the last train home, and need somewhere inexpensive to sleep for the night. Most occupants were just there to sleep and freshen up in the morning, and the few valuables they'd have could be kept in their capsule or a locker. Capsule hotels became popular with tourists because they were cheap and not something commonly seen in the West, so I'd guess that "fancy" capsule hotels like this one are designed more for tourists who want the experience, and a more safety-conscious person would stay somewhere else!
@@RadiiantSupernova I guess it´s also because they have so many people in a little land that they have to manage to fit in tiny places. I´d rather live in my country and breeze clear air.
wah... the cheese curry. 🤤🤤 One Q, i see the capsule hotel no lock door but w curtain only. is it safe to leave your belongings in there while going away for a while like to bathroom?
I’ve watched 4 videos. Every single one, I guess the same rock/paper/scissors as you. What does that say about me, or you? 🤔🤣 Love your videos! Do you have an actual home, or do you travel all the time? Just curious.
no sauna or hot bath? I stayed at 3 capsule hotels during my trip out of all the hotels I tried, 3 of them capsule (1 tokyo, 1 osaka and 1 kyoto) and all 3 had saunas and hot baths.
Another great video, I am 78 years old & I will probably never make it to Japan. But with your videos I am enjoying Japan, thank you so much!
It's never too late for a trip to such a wonderful place as Japan ❤
Its never too late, Rick!
Just do it!
Such relaxation when I see these videos. ☺️
I am 49 and my chances to visit Japan getting smaller every day. This is sad. My biggest dream wont come true… Thank you for your films
I enjoy watching these types of vlogs without distracting music or narration
That hotel was very clean. Can't get over that you slept in a shed, though.
I am truly enjoying your adventures. I'm very fond of JAPAN so this is very exciting for me. Thank you for the trip of a lifetime ❤️
It even has TV inside!!! This is the first time I saw capsule hotel with a TV in the capsule❤❤❤Wonderful! I will want to stay one night there next time I go to Japan.😃😃😃
Love the custard doughnuts at Mr Doughnuts and a can of Mr Brown Emerald milk coffee 😊
I love seeing all the food and dining options!
The name is so awesome! It's the phonetic spelling of how someone from Japan or Korea might say "easy"😊
Soft serve? Aww i might eat so much ice cream. This is very satisfying. Love your videos!! Please keep making more 🎉❤
Always lovely travelling along with you.

Love your videos! But maybe I'm missing something here. This seems a little too high, for particle board walls and a curtain instead of a door.

Always a pleasure to watch your videos. And Hotel eeGee STAY was a very nice hotel. And that cheese curry was looking scrumptious.
The baked cheese curry looked amazing! It reminded us of eggplant parmesan. YUM!!!
Can you give us the names if business hotels under the price of 9000 yen
Rock paper scissors? You didn't say what you did!

The Ferris wheel 🎡 is so so cute!🥰
Great job with this video. Felt like I was there!!! 🌟🌟🌟
For $63 a night in a deluxe room, I'd want more than particle board for walls.
It doesn´t look very deluxe
Captain Picard approves of your hot Earl Grey tea selection.

sometimes you cant afford to stay in hotels and comfort has to take a back seat.

Very nice review of this capsule room.
Damn, for that deluxe price, you could book an APA hotel...
I love your channel- very relaxing while being informative at the same time.
I have a question, is it possible to book capsule hotels if you have luggage other than a backpack? Or would that be an uncomfortable experience?
I’m curious to know as well. Planning a trip for July of 2025 and I know I’ll have luggage to store.
Mycube MyStays Asakusa is a capsule hotel where there's a luggage locker under your capsule that can fit 3 medium sized luggage easily
Location is great for those on a short layover in Haneda!
Very nice. Thank you.
My brother stayed one when was sent to Japan in the 80's.
Amazing amazing my friend I would love to travel with you Japan has so much to offer
I always love watching travel geek traveling to many places!!
Would not sleep a wink without a door. Pepsi max caffine free for me
Yep! That was the deal breaker for me! That curtain was NOTHING to stop anyone determined to do harm.
I love Japan, dont know when and how I will get an opportunity to visit. But all your videos are interesting !!!

You should do a video on Narita Express, it looks really cool!
Fun fact, my grandfather built many Mr. Donut in Massachusetts in the 1950's.
Who gives AF?? Get a life
That would never work over here in the West, bums and addicts would have it destroyed in 15 seconds.

Do people not worry about their safety, just having a curtain and no door ?

For ¥9000 you can stay at a “real” business hotel like in one of the APA chain.
That's press board and looks cheap, the smell would have to be hard to take in. Everything look flimsy too.

I liked the used wine crates as wall panels. Looks like this capsule hotel is pretty upscale.
