It's worth recalling that in a provincial match years before this game Bunce went flying offside into a ruck and broke Brial's collar bone, putting him out of action for a long time. Brial thought it was reckless and could have killed him, and there was no sanction on Bunce other than a penalty. I'm not apologizing for Brial here, only providing some context. I suspect the incident here had at least a little something to do with the injury prior.
There is a reason why the 1996 All Blacks have been called “The Incomparables”. They won the inaugural Tri Nations Series, won the Bledisloe Cup, and beat the Boks in the South Africa test series for the first time ever. They utterly proved why they were the deserving 1995 RWC champs!

27:27.....now did he throw 8 punches and miss or did he throw 9? Well in all the excitement and air swings I kind of forgot myself.
Deserved penalty. None of those modern cards needed.
Much appreciated..the best era
No worries, thought most would have seen this, think it is up in a few places but glad you watched it here.
