(have, that is - but let's not be old-fashioned here) How Wales didn't score that try in the third minute of the first half and go on to beat South Africa - I will never know. That semi-final tho! I've seen and heard a million comments to the effect that the Springboks were heroic, that their tactics were perfect, that it was one of the all-time most awesome defensive displays - and I agree. But who's finally going to call out the elephant in the room here: New Zealand were better on a relatively bad day than South Africa could ever be, even given the extra intensity in their game on that day, AND the half-time lead for SA, AND the man in the sin bin for that crucial 10 opening minutes of the second half - how much more needed to go wrong for the All Blacks in order for South Africa to win?!? OUTCLASSED, that's what it was! Now the final was a different affair: New Zealand thought they'd won it a little too early and LAPSED. In the meantime, Australia rallied, hard. For my money, both Australia and Argentina were realistically better than South Africa in WC2015. (Thinking of which: if Scotland had held out and prevailed over Aus, the final would have been between NZ and Argentina, you can bet your life on that!) And of course, if anyone else had ended up winning the World Cup, it would have been a complete injustice. Great tournament and one more time, thanks for the excellent video!

can anyone explain rugby union coz I get the rules just that a team can be 10 points behind and when they get a penalty they kick for 3 wouldn't you try and go for the try
Depends on how long to go in the game, but a penalty should usually be an automatic 3 points (most kickers kick somewhere around 75%) and you get the ball back to try again whereas a try is never guaranteed. If it's 20min to go and you're 10 behind you would take the 3 points and then be only a converted try behind. That's the idea anyway. Were you referring to a particular game?

Then fast forward a few month and the Irish does the same.
