Hello. Thank you. I am not sure. I can ask and see. But if you have S1H and you see blacks looking kind of warm then maybe. From what i was told by panasonic engineers. The v35 sensor is optimized for skin tones and they did not use IR filtration in development of that camera. So w Varicam LT with internal NDs they did not correct against the IR pollution to preserve skin tones and color compatibility with V35. As for other prosumer cameras in the panasonic Line up testing would need to be done, Bcz i have no experiences w them as of yet.
Agreed. Very similar handling of color and dynamic range as Arri. I think Arri has a touch more dynamic range and log-c color matrix, and Varicam has 4K sensor, wider color gamut, and dual Iso. So there are some trade offs, which might be because of smaller photosites. Looking forward to testing my Varicam with an Alexa before the year gets out. Should be a good comparison. Stay tuned.
Great post!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it, and hope you found it helpful. Are you a Varicam shooter?
@@AlexDerrick_DP Yes I am! Varicam LT.
KOMODO IR cut test?
Komodo doesn't need IR cut as far as I know. I never saw it, with Panasonic it is ever present w/o this filter.
Love this test! Do you think s1h needs IR filters too?

Looks like an Arri

What lens(es) were you using?
Hi, thanks for watching. I want to say Oly M. Zuiko 28mm, great lenses for this camera. Low contrast and great colors.
