The Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc pairing may have its ups and downs. The main downside is the conflicting pace between them. Both of them are very fast drivers with enormous talent. However, since they have similar pace, it can result to a-lot of wheel to wheel battles that can throw one of them off, resulting in rising tensions between them. But the upside is that they’re both very fast, which can give Ferrari great results over their competitors.
Nice copy from "the race " channel
Mate they are alllowed to make content, every other news outlet does this question every year it’s not a copy.
I miss Grosjean and Magnussen at Haas.... 😢
It's easily Ferrari. Even if Lewis struggles like he did last year, they have Charles, who imo is almost equal to Max on a skill level. Red Bull and Mercedes both have half of their driver line-up as an almost unknown, and at least according to last season, McLaren driver line-up has made a habit of throwing away opportinities.
I expected more Williams votes
Williams left the chat
Ferrari McLaren fight
massive?
The real list (without bias):
1. McLaren
2. Ferrari
3. Red Bull
4. Williams
5. Mercedes
6. Stake Sauber
7. Haas
8. Aston Martin
9. Alpine
10. Racing Bulls
The best line-up is still easily Ferrari.
@ Appreciate your comment and understand your opinion, but I stand by what I said. Imo Charles is not at Max’ level. Max can win a championship in the 3rd fastest car, while Charles struggles to beat his teammate. Only reason Red Bull has the 3rd best lineup imo is because Max can carry the team on his own. But I rank McLaren’s and Ferrari’s higher because they have 2 proven good drivers.
I think Charles and Lando are evenly as good. And because of that, the second driver will tell us which team has the best lineup. Oscar shows so much potential and comes closer to Lando each year. Meanwhile Lewis is getting older and it looks like he’s getting worse, judging by the last 3 seasons. Mercedes were great at strategies as well and now coming to Ferrari with a new environment, I think Lewis will struggle. He still has a good racecraft and great experience, so maybe he’ll surprise me. I also don’t think it was the fault of the drivers of McLaren that the races didn’t go their way, but the team. The lineup is great, the team should be improving.
The top 10 drivers atm in my opinion:
1. Max
2=3. Charles & Lando
4. Carlos
5. Oscar
6. George
7. Fernando
8. Lewis
9. Pierre
10. Nico
If we add up the numbers and do ‘lowest wins’, then we get the list I gave, with McLaren > Ferrari.
@@davidpanken @davidpanken Interesting take. I might sound a bit harsh on Max, but he made surprisingly many errors last year. He also had some weekends when he was genuinly off the pace, Baku and Abu Dhabi for example. Charles didn't really make almost any mistakes and beat Carlos by 66 points, so quite a clear margin. Obviously that's nothing compared to the gargantual points gap between Max and Checo, but then again, Checo had one of the worst seasons in f1 history and Carlos is actually a quality driver, so...
Not trying to take anything away from Max, some of his mistakes probably have been due to Red Bull getting lost with car development and making the car impossible to drive even for Max, who knows. But all in all, Charles probably maximised the season even better than Max in terms of errors etc, but Max still narrowly wins it for me due to him carrying the team on his back.
I think you're being a bit too generous for the McLaren drivers. Lando dropped 100+ points due to his bad starts and other blunders, that's just unacceptable with the machinery he had with his disposal. Ferrari was definitely not at the level of McLaren, but Charles still nearly beat Lando. 2021-2023 Lando would have deserved top 2-3 imo, but not the 2024 version of him.
Oscar needs to take some of the brunt as well. He showed some great racecraft, but was off the pace way too often. And just like Lando, he threw away some big points with amateurish mistakes. All of this isn't to say that McLaren pit wall would have been blameless, because they were a freaking clown show as well. I feel like McLaren had this collective effort of trying to lose a championship with a brilliant car.
No offense to mclaren fans but i don't see the hype
FIRST!
Any team with max in it should be 1rst
