- The Dragon Prince Season 3 has Aaravos Take Over the Sun Fire Elves’ throne…Aarovos poses Viren's body takes over Lux Aurea and kills the queen in an instant.
General Amaya quickly comforts and consoles Janai, knowing how painful it is to lose a sister-queen.
The Dragon Prince Season Aaravos takes over Lux Aurea using dark magic 😱😨
It's kinda got the same vibe as well
Just to remind you Aaravos was still physically trapped in the mirror during all this and was probably doing some serious VR crap in his room all by himself lol.
VR crap lmaoo, makes me imagine him just gesticulating into the air with the VR around his eyes 😂
Vr lol now i cant get that idea out of my head.

Dude when he’s going upside down and horses are appearing I like to think he’s just riding a horse through his living room, floating and doing some crazy shit.

“Your arrogance is so predictable.”
Aaravos says it all. He understands the mentality of most elves and dragons, him being an elf himself. But I still don’t trust him.
He may be an Elf and is on the best way to become the main villain in the next seasons, but he felt with the humans of old.
Somebody was able to deciver the books about Aaravos from Season 2 and apparently Aaravos helped Ziard invent dark magic and gifted him the dark magic-staff Viren now has, because he wanted to help the humans be accepted as equals to Elf's and Dragons.
But we know how that ended (thanks, Sol Regem...) and that humans began to use dark magic for worse stuff than not starving.
Probably that's why he's locked up.
Jonas Brauer I can’t tell if he really wanted the humans to stand as equals to the elves and dragons or if he was using them for his own gain. Considering what dark magic does to the caster, Viren’s ugly face, he likely doesn’t care about what happens to humans.
Then again Aaravos uses dark magic too and he’s not suffering the side effects. Maybe he knows how to counter them.
@@maxs9062 Maybe. Ziard at least seems to have been on good terms with him, at least it seemed so when he talked with Sol Regem about Aaravos. And he is united with the humans of old in their hatred for Xadia and Dragons.
But we can't be sure about anything concerning Aaravos, he is just a too well writen, deceiving villain. xD
Jonas Brauer hopefully many of the questions we have about him will be answered in future seasons if Netflix green lights the rest of the series.
@@maxs9062 I sure hope so. I already saw official material that said the next book will be Earth and that 7 seasons in total are planed. And books and a video-game are planed too. I hope Netflix will continue the Series, but even if not Wonderstorm said they will find other publishers if not, so I don't think Netflix will block them off.
Note how Aaravos doesn't refer to Viren as his partner, ally, or even servant, but as his "vessel".
I thought he was talking about the grub. But either or.
...thats..deep......
Is that supposed to assume he’s seeing Viren as an equal or not just a pawn?
Valcowar 672 I’m going to assume he’s only using viren so he can get that staff since he gifted it to humanity as described in the beginning of season 3 and I’m going to guess that after he gets the staff he’ll go after Callum to get the cube he has since it was made by him as well so he can become unstoppable.
@@toadlord8594 i'm pretty sure he was referring to vessel as in a mode of transportation.
Okay but that scream of anguish was so chilling and good. That voice actress conveyed real pain with that scream and that was DAMN impressive.
I really felt the chills from hearing her scream, and how she went from one who's filled with anger to anguish so fast made the whole scene so good.
Literally makes me feel bad for her. Like I know she was arrogant asf but that was just torture 😭
It's the same scream used in one of ESO's cinematics.
Him whispering in her ear reminds me of Scar whispering to Simba, "I killed Mufasa"
😢😢😢😢
Aaravos: Long live the Queen!

*Kills queen*
A seductive version of "I killed Mufasa," but yes. Lol
@@somerandomguy3615 bruh no he didn’t. He said “you’re human” listen closely
He doesn’t even need to get out the mirror physically to cause some chaos. Damn can’t wait to see what Aaravos can REALLY DO when his creature’s cocoon hatches and takes over as the main Villain.
Edit: Yeah this comment has Aged like MILK after Season 3.
Right? He's going to tear the whole place down; I'm kinda scared of what it's morphing into - eek!
@Xoana Lima-Barcellos Weirdly I've been kind of inspired by Aaravos to replay Skyrim as a Dark Elf Mage I recently downloaded on my PS4. What can I say, I get my roleplay Ideas from characters that hook me. And make him a level 99 Sorcerer in all Magic skills, along with Speech lol. He’ll obviously take over the College of Winterhold as Arch-Mage. And have the Dark Brotherhood in his palms, Along with the Theives Guild.
@@toadlord8594 woah yes, that'd be fun, I say go for it! I haven't played Skyrim in years!! Now you got me thinking, hmm 🤭
I actually made Skyrim Aaravos with a few mods.
@@xoanalima-barcellos3204 its probably morphing into a gaint butterfly of death, that would be interesting
The way Aaravos can just disintegrate people with a finger is terrifying
And this is him while his power is being restricted by his mirror prison. Imagine what he could do if he was at full strength.

sarai was good, kesha was a despote
@@mfsalatino She was still Janai's sister.
You know Amaya and Janai are kinda similar.
They’re both high ranking officers in their kingdom's army. Their sister were the queen of the kingdom and they both lost said sister.
@@Storm_Bird456 Another thing is that Janai and Amaya sisters were older than them, so they must have looked up to them; Amaya certainly looked up to Sarai, but I'm not sure about Janai.
@@jayskystealer2926 I think Janai did, she and her lil Brother Karim had a short story where they give their sister the last honor.
"Your kind could not be satisfied with what you were given." You mean no magic and being treated like inferior beings? No. That is simply unacceptable.
Good Point. lol
Because what we are giving it's not enough, not like someone who it's born with more than enough would often understand. 😜
Well... Amaya for example does very well with what she was (or in her case NOT) given.
She can't hear and communicate with others properly, BUT she's general of a whole f*cking army in one of the biggest human kingdoms.
She managed to do it with what she had, even if others had more.
And I bet: if you can heal a broken body (Soren) by sacrificeing Bambi and bringing a dead man (Viren) back to life, sacrificeing another human with dark magic, you could bring back ones hearing with dark magic, too.
King Harrow is right: dark magic is just a shortcut, a cheat.
@@HalfwayToHell Maybe it's the arrogant attitude of people like the Sun Elf Queen and Sol Regem that makes me want to defy them.
@@1987MartinT I'm totally on board with that. Khessa was even mean and disrespectful to her own sister Janai, who holds the title of "Golden Knight" of her own people, which must mean something big. So yeah, I'm not sorry for her. But I don't treat every elf or dragon the same, just because there where two bad examples. If that would be the case, I should dislike humanity, too. Because Viren transformed most of his army into heat-being-berserkers against their will and talked down the few soldiers, which didn't went with him in the first place. You know the whole "broken link" stuff, which must be a bad branding. And don't get me started how he treats his own children and excuses himself with "I'm just doing all that for humanity!"...
In short: There is good and bad on both sides. No one is truly in the right.
As heartbreaking as it was to see Janai cry for her sister, I didn’t have much sympathy for the queen herself. She was a racist who ignored physical proof that not all humans are corrupt and evil (“ A human with a pure heart, how original.”). She tortured Amaya with that Light test and actually smirked at her suffering. She was also incredibly condescending towards Janai, her own sister, for showing respect and compassion for a human who saved her life. She was at no point presented as a sympathetic character and her death was only tragic because of how it affected Janai and her people.
🤔
Yeah.
To me, at least, feeling sympathy for Queen Kheesa's death is liking feeling bad for Mother Gothel's death in Tangled or feeling bad that Scar was killed in the Lion King: I'm not gonna feel bad for a person who CHOSE to be malicious to innocent people.
Same and couldn't have put it better
Agree. I didnt like her
just another reason why this show is so well made. turning someone you should normally like and root for and turning them into an evil character. every single character in this series is so well made. it's a shame these shows only come around every once in a while.
And he didn't even have to do any of this in person..
Exactly, imagine what he'll do when he's actually there! So excited for next seaon!!
Oh yeah
Yeah creepy! You can lock him up and he can still find ways to attack you.

Aaravos is the type of guy who would steal your face if you showed the slightest hint of emotion
Haha Koh the Face Stealer. Same voice actor 👏🏼
Oh guys, that was terrible, but so hilarious! 🤣
In this case he incinerated a face.
The look on the queen's face when Aaravos told her about her grandmother's fate makes me interested in wanting to learn.
I’m sure they’ll tell us later on in the saga ☺️
I do not think he killed her, but turned her into something else…
I think he mouthed "They're humans" or something.
@@blondeashfur3445 "They're human" is the most probable considering the Orphan Queen
I would assume he whispered in her ear "I killed Mufasa" 😂 no I think he said he killed her Grandmother.
Or he said I'm your Father..... Die hehe
And the creators say that rn, he is only at a mere FRACTION of his power...
At full strength, Aaravos is probably THE most powerful creature in the entire series. Avizandum was powerful enough to imprison him but he's dead now and Sol Regem is a shadow of his old self, plus even before he was blinded he had the disadvantage of needing to recharge between each fire blast (which is a pretty major drawback if you ask me). It's possible that Zubeia might rival Aaravos in terms of power but we've never seen her do anything except wake from her coma so it's impossible to judge how strong she is.
@@tomnorton4277 I bet Aaravos' key (the cube currently possessed by Callum) will be instrumental in the climax.

The one thing I have to give much credit to the writers for is how they portray elves. In alot of media portray elves as default lawful good. The Dragon Prince on the other hand is one of few that are starting to show that elves can be just as evil or arrogant as humans.
That being said, it felt satisfying that the arrogance of the sunfire elves was their downfall.

When I saw Aaravos for the first time, I knew he was the main villain in the dragon prince series. But it wasn't until this scene that I became aware of how powerful, vicious and dangerous Aaravos is. He also shows a sadistic side when killing the queen.
Arrvos is a dark elf
0:05 Viren: *internally* "Bitch"
i think that Aaravos cast a dark spell on the Queen when he whisper and enacted it with a flick of his finger, implying the same fate/spell was used on her grandmother...reducing them to nothingness
That would make sense but the queen looked scared and shocked so maybe he said something else?
How ironic an elf of fire burns to ash

Aaravos is a sneak devil 😈. And I really love this sneaky devil.
Lux Aurea looks like a an impenetrable city that could stand up to almost any assault or attack. But this city has one weakness. The ruler Khessa she is that weakness. Aaravos knew that she was arrogant and that she would take Viren to the source of their power. Aaravos didn’t need to send in an entire army to get there he let her take Viren straight to the place that he wanted by using her own arrogance as a ruler against her. You would never think that the queen herself is the city’s greatest weakness. Sometimes weaknesses can be found right in front of you or in the most unexpected places.
He is better than Sultun Mehet II, who conquered Constantinople, which used to be an impenetrable city.
This elf Aaravos. I can see why even Runaan (the elf who killed Ezeren and Callums dad) was afraid because this guy is very dangerous imagine if he was set free and I wonder what he was like before he went rouge.
What’s scarier is that we’ve only seen a FRACTION of Aaravos power 😨😳

Aaravos makes me think of Sauron in elf form
I agree with that one comment someone said, it does sound like he whispered “They’re human.”
What a great villain! Lord Viren has everithing a true villain needs: a charismatic and charming appearance; a talent for deceiving and manipulating others; a great knowledge about history and magic; the ability to find smart and "creative solutions"; the conviction to do the right thing by "saving" humanity; a great hunger for power; and an understandable past and backgroundstory. I`ve always loved wizards and magicians, especially the dark ones! Wizards are as well as the villains and the antagonists the most interesting characters in my opinion. I´ve always played wizards and witchers in Online Rollplay Games and I have always had a great interest in villains, so it`s no surprise I have fallen in love with this character since the first time I saw him. Viren is smart and ambitious with a great knowledge and the ability to deceive and manipulate every one, who listens to him. There are just a view exceptions like Opeli or Korvus, who recognized his true evil nature. I have to ad, that he is a quite talented and powerfull dark mage with some disturbing, but impressing skills. But in my opinion he is more then just the evil villain. He`s a loving and caring father. Even if he doesn`t show it in front of his children. Or at least he was. There are two sides in him. One side is a father and former husband who just wants the best for his children as well as for humanity. The other side corrupted by dark magic and an endless hunger for power, that makes him cruel and ruthless. During the entire series we get to see his character developement and why and how he`s changing from one of King Harrows closest and most loyal advisers and friends to such a ruthless, coldhearted villain. There are a view events in the show, that probably caused his turn to such a dark path and why he hated and still hates Xadia that much. He hated Xadia for what Thunder (Avizandum) did to Queen Sarai and later for what the moon-shadow-elves did to King Harrow, his closest friend, who has been like a brother for him. That`s the probible cause for his hatred against Xadia. But this wasn´t enought. When King Harrow showed Viren "his place", which was on his knees, it must have been the most horrific kind of humiation he could have imagined.Being treated like that by his closest friend. He must have lost all his faith in such a deep and old friendship. Whenever he tried to help humanity he has been ignored by others, what caused frustration and doubts. This doubts led him to the elf and archmage Aaravos, who turned him to a dark path.Maybe he truly believed to do the right thing till the end and didn`t even notice the hunger for power he`s developed. Or maybe once he noticed this hunger he didn`t want to stop cause of the unlimited power he would have gotten. He is such an interesting character and all those great losses like the loss of his wife Lissa or of his closest friend and his wife made him go crazy. But a villain without a dark and sad story isn`t a good villain, don`t you agree? I even love the way the protagonists defeat him. Rayla was willing to sacrafice her own life to protect the dragonprince by jumping with Viren in the abyss causing him to die. I`m just glad Claudia succesfully brought him back to life. I`m so excited what`s gonna happen in season 4!
Janai, I don’t feel so good…
Just picturing him doing this with like an AR headset in his room litterally KILLS ME😂

Conspiracy Theory :
Aaravos is stronger than Thanos.
1.He doesn't need a gauntlet
2.He has been imprisoned for centuries (So a normal person would be a bit rusty)
3.Can Thanos-Snap Someone Without Snapping
4.Understands the mentality of most creatures he has met (So Far) enough to manipulate them.
5. He isn't even doing any of this in person, he just has a host.
6.Before Viren and Aaravos could FaceTime, Aaravos could smite someone without even being a spirit that could be seen by Viren.
7.He can make even the audience enjoy his screentime.
8. Plans well enough that he can benefit later (I don't mean the obvious things, I mean like her killing the Sunfire Queen. Her death could greatly affect the other elves, wether affected
as in the entire kingdom panicked, or individual people affected mentally. Not sure if he did this on purpose, but he planned so he wouldn't mess up)
