Imagine if he used Callum to kill the others. I am pretty sure Callum could already kill at least Ezran and Soren with just the magic he knew, and Aaravos had way more tricks up his sleeve. Lightning lightning fireball boulder. Where are your champions now, Zubeia.
Zubeia could obliterate Callum before he did any real damage. She'd hate doing it but if it was a choice between him and protecting the others, especially Zym, she would. Aaravos is the most powerful creature in the series but he isn't at full strength here and he knows it. As long as Aaravos is trapped in the mirror, Zubeia's got enough control to deal with the situation and the last thing Aaravos needs is for his vessel to be destroyed.
Zubeia is within stomping range of both the mirror and Callum. She could easily neutralize Callum non-lethally should Aaravos try having him draw any runes or doing any suspicious movements. Or she could just shatter the mirror. No guarantee it'll break the connection, but it might shock Aaravos enough to stop controlling Callum.
Zubeia would just stomp on the mirror to break the possession and contact with him until furthr knowledge of him and until they have found his prison and a plan to take of him "permanently" wich could happen
Because they have read the script and know that they are not in danger. I mean zubeia could interrupt it by clearing the clouds. Everyone else could at least try to run away.
What the hell are they supposed to do? Smash the mirror? Aaravos does that himself so clearly it's of no concern to him. Attack Callum? Do I really need to explain why they don't want to do that? Aaravos holds all the cards in this scene, so they can't do anything except wait for him to get bored of his puppet.
Nah tell me, exactly, what would you do if a thousand year old start ouch elf arch age who has mastered all arcanum’s killed the previous queen of the dragons and the queen of the sun fire elves is standing in front of you, possessing your brother/friend/ the one who saved you from you sacrificing your own self?
I'd be in shock that he can actually do magic while imprisoned. Possessed people are basically hostage in their own body a sudden sever of the connection(?) could cause backlash. Plus Aaravos could have easily made Callum hurt himself.
@FireWolf13703well pretty sure Aaravos had though some younger elves how yo use their primal source (at the time he was a great one) so there could be a wholesome him inside, i could see Aaravos teaching callum
2:10 his bow and spin is just adorable! Sinister? Yes. Adorable? Yaaass!!! I’m pretty sure it was confirmed that because Callum used dark magic once, his body is now like a vessel. This happens to all dark mages, and every time a human becomes a mage for the first time they experience this dream/nightmare like state. Basically the normal mages use magic differently than how human mages use magic. Normal mages have something in them that is already the vessel that hold the magic but humans don’t have or understand it so instead they use themselves as a vessel for the spell to pass through! Does that make sense? I hope you enjoyed!
How did he do this though? Aaravos possessed viren because they made a blood pack with the little bug pal ritual but He literally just looked at Callum and somehow possessed him
Well the possession thing is differently done both ways. But both victims have dark magic so Aarovos connected to that. Plus 2 years, perhaps he has been reviving and practicing magic too
By watching Viren's redemption as he was dying, we get to know that he really cares about Soren and actually loves him, he doenst think bout Soren as a "failed son". So we can all agree that Aaravos is, again, manipulating people to turn on each other. So "destined to play right into my hands" might never occur and is only to confuse a make Callum worry about the path he's on.
He's only seen how Viren treated Soren to that point so it probably had a reflection of accuracy at the time. He blamed Soren for what went wrong in his life and told Claudia to choose the egg over him.
La verdad aunque la parte de los Elfos del Sol era interesante, no tenía ni guna conexion con las otras dos tramas. here me out here, what if callum can take back control from aaravos? oooooor aavavos tries to hide in callums body only revealing himself when its too late
To be fair, a lot of people aren't mentioning that he only did that after he saw soren reach for his sword. Because for a moment y'all, he could have easily done that Viren. He never did that to viren in all the times speaking with him though... Because he didn't see Viren as threat.
I think if Callum had never used dark magic, Aaravos would have never been able to possess him like that. The scary thing is that in real life, if one messes with the occult, they open the ability for a demon to possess them. Although the Dragon Prince doesn't always push the best of morals and has some questionable aspects, it is worth noting that Aaravos has an eerily similar backstory to Lucifer/Satan himself. Also, how is it that Rayla is determined as incapable of killing? She did kill Viren by pushing him off a mountain.
Aboit yout last yout point, Aaravos was Messing with Rayla's mundo. Since you Said that, I presume you haven't read the Comics Through the Moon, where It passes If I'm not mistakrn 6 mounths after the Battle of the Sky Spire, after the battle Rayle sought for Viren's delas body, but didn't find, she was worried that Virem might still be alive, restinga and planning revenge against the people who had defeated him, tmake things wirse, during this 6 mounths Rayla was javing nightmares of Viren killing her parenta, Runaan and the worst of ALL Callum, after ressurecting Phiphi at Lujanne's place, Rayla and Callum asked Lujanne to sendo them to the Death Realm to see If Virem was defenitly delas or not, what they found was a really desturbong scrneriou for Rayla, they found Viren in a cocoon and awakened, when they returned tô their realm Rayla and Callum had a bit of argiment If Virem was really or not, Callum saying that he was fone for good, but Rayla was certainly cinvinced that he was alive and feared for Callum's safety and her não ghtmare of the Dark Mage killing the most important thing in her life took over ALL her being and following a lesson that Lujanne gave her, at the early night of Callum's 16th birthday, she left him with a broken heart, sure not after leaving a.confession letter, expressing ALL her love to him and her regret for leaving him like this. Anyway, ALL that time she was absent was because she was searching for Viren and kill him once and for all before he reachs Callum, that's why Aaravos Said that, he was playing with her mundo and insecireties at the same time he gave her the anseer aboit Viren's condition when Ch she didn't relize It. Qué ese monólogo lo hubiese dicho solo , ok. Qué lo hiciera usando a Callum justo frente a sus amigos y restregándoles cada una de sus inseguridades , outch jjjjjj.
Obviously it was dark magic. We saw only humans using it before, killing something magical and speaking spell words, not drawing any runes. Elf is magical himself, he don't need anything else to give him power. And since he is natural and arch mage, perhaps he doesn't need to words aswell?
Aaravos is by far the most powerful creature in the series. He's mastered every form of magic, including Dark Magic, and is implied to be immortal. Zubeia even stated that Star Touched Elves are so powerful that even the Archdragons were too scared to confront Aaravos directly, which was why they had to resort to underhanded tactics to get him into the Looking Glass.
The Mystery of Aaravos is incorrect title. Should be more of The Mystery of Callum, because the more of this shit is happening, the more I’m wondering what the hell is Callum?! First human in an over a millennium to be able to use magic, and now he’s a vessel for Aaravos to posses.

You know... while I like this scene, it's a perfect example of my issues with Rayla's character in season 4. Aaravos points out everyone's weaknesses to make them uncomfortable. But why is it that after all this time, Rayla would still be insecure about not killing? I mean, didn't we already move past that in earlier seasons (also she DID straight-up murder Viren, but I guess that's a different issue altogether)? Hasn't she LEARNED anything or grown at all in the last couple years? I feel like the show really wasted her this time around --- which is a shame, because she's one of the characters I was looking forward to catching up with the most.

Zubeia had mentioned Mages are Aaravos's natural preys, and not just that but also because Callum is the very first primal mage in thousands of years and since even using dark magic once is enough for an Archmage as powerful as him to take possession of someone, if you think of it, there a more about Aaravos that are still huge mysterys but soon these mysteries will be revealed as well as his past
What if destined to play into his hands because Callum has his cube. That cube that drives Callum did used to belong to Aravos.
Aaravos did injure and kill some guards through Viren.
Erik Dellums as Aaravos is terrific. Apart from the archdragons (especially Zubeia), Aaravos is the best voiced character in the entire series.
Makes sense why he would posses CALLUM and not any one else
Mages are his prey
WHY IS EVERYONE JUST STANDING THERE 💀
Because they have read the script and know that they are not in danger.
Im sorry but the way aravos said outch at soren was personal 💀
Don’t know why but possessed callum has always been my favorite don’t know why I’m drawn to villains then heros
@FireWolf13703well pretty sure Aaravos had though some younger elves how yo use their primal source (at the time he was a great one) so there could be a wholesome him inside, i could see Aaravos teaching callum
Same, man. They're always much more interesting than the heroes.😅
I thought I heard Aaravos whisper something when it showed his fist, sounded like obey
"You're just a child."
"Well, you're just a teenager."
I know he's not a teenager but still.
I mean, Callum is, but that's besides the point.
When you realize how tall callum is now. For reference, Soren's 6ft tall if I remember correctly.
"My old friend, the Dragon Prince. It's been a long time . . ." O_O
I hope you enjoyed!
i think i owe u my life now for putting this together
Zubeia is NOT impressed or happy that Aaravos is speaking through Callum lol 😂
pls why did they all just stand there like sims
How did he do this though? Aaravos possessed viren because they made a blood pack with the little bug pal ritual but He literally just looked at Callum and somehow possessed him
Magic :D
Cuz he was closer to his star magic thing
@@Diehard831 are you referring to the key of aaravos cube?
@@LHSMeleeClub no like star elfs get power from stars to
Well the possession thing is differently done both ways.
It he doesn’t lie. That’s the thing. So he can’t be manipulating them based on a lie, otherwise you can’t take anything he says seriously
He's only seen how Viren treated Soren to that point so it probably had a reflection of accuracy at the time. He blamed Soren for what went wrong in his life and told Claudia to choose the egg over him.
Aravos is "If bad why hot" meme as its pick xD
Actually I believe that the plot with the sunfire elves will tie into the main plot
I think it's about being possessed and so on... As a joke it may be slightly intentional, Callum keeps it to himself a lot And black magic is mostly left aside when it comes to him, but he already used it this last season. El The scriptwriters treat this whole issue like this, because little by little this will affect Callum more and more, but the characters themselves won't realize so soon, for example in this situation, that they don't in that at times when Callum would talk about how this affected him, the series doesn't take it seriously The characters themselves still don't see how much this affects Callum, and this progresses as the dark magic and Araavus affect him more and more, but the characters don't realize until the situation begins.situation is critical. I would say that this has progressed little by little, just as it was with Claudia (obviously in a totally different context, I'm just referring to the progressive development she had during the seasons).

Of course, this is just a theory
callum with confidence
Why do villains always have to possess a fan favorite? Why?
Sometimes even the best heroes have a dark secret. He has a hint of dark magic
Because otherwise it wouldn't be as effective.
Because why not? Callum used dark magic in s2 to save rayla and the dragon and that’s why Aaravos possessed him
In toh Hunter had the green stuff in his hands that’s why he got possessed
And Raine was a free Target to possess cause he was a puppet
@@coralitile.Raine is nonbinary and go by They/Them.
because it's fun
It seems mages are vulnerable to Aaravos power.
At least he didn’t do the whole Vecna bone cracker.
This scene didn’t made me feel nearly as scared as i feel like it should
Is anyone going to talk about Aaravos’s voice crack when he says “ouch”??? 😂
Imagine being posessed by a toxic gay who'd sacrifice his kid to keep bea alive
"Toxic gay" NAUR HOMIE DID NOT!✋😭😭😭
wow when I first saw this, it felt a lot longer than two minutes
*possession
Everyone: this is normal Callum 😅
Aravos is a villain?!?? Noooooo hes so beautiful
In all honesty.... And Sense no one else really had magic...or knew to much about aaravos.....
WHAT COULD THEY DO AT THAT MOMENT!
(Although it seemed ezerin tried to reach Callum. Best brother ever Duo ever btw. Also the opportunity to hear and see aaravos, not to mention being scared, probably had to be some of the reasons for their poor judgement.)
@@RebekahSmithChildofGod7 You’re right but when it was happening none of them had shown that slightest bit of worry, they just stood like there was nothing wrong.
he can possess me anytime
i feel like aravos was written with a whorish personality 😭

here me out here, what if callum can take back control from aaravos? oooooor aavavos tries to hide in callums body only revealing himself when its too late
I just got a name for possessed Callum: Callavos!
It’s bad I laughed at this 😭😂

What happened to the animation studio? The original Aaravos not only have stars on his body but they also shimmer like actual stars.
It’s the 4 fingers for me😭
Thank you for this. I really wanted to find a RUclips video of my fav part.
I wan’t callum to be possessed because of his passion to know about magic as that would be more fun
If evil why charismatic and hot while roasting protagonists!? 😂😳
To be fair, a lot of people aren't mentioning that he only did that after he saw soren reach for his sword.
Because for a moment y'all, he could have easily done that Viren. He never did that to viren in all the times speaking with him though... Because he didn't see Viren as threat.
I don't get it, Can't they just destroy the mirror Aaravos is in and save us all that bother.
Mirror's just for keeping watch on him? He literally shattered it himself so they can't see what's he's up to anymore.
Aaravos haverust been laughed after that!
EXACTLY but would anyone actually say to him ‘so what, exactly, does tackling someone off a cliff classify as?’ Nah that would be hilarious. If I’m being honest I REALLY thought Aaravos might get slightly handsy with Rayla kinda like Khessa
Am i the only one who wants to see this entire scene, performed by Mark Hamill, about team avatar?
Qué ese monólogo lo hubiese dicho solo , ok. Qué lo hiciera usando a Callum justo frente a sus amigos y restregándoles cada una de sus inseguridades , outch jjjjjj.
Does anyone think that is kind of fucked up that he didn't have to use any kind of runes for that?
Literally all he had to do was lift his hand
He simply was powerful.
Maybe it's just a natural ability that Startouch elves have
Aaravos became Darth Vader and used the force 😂😂
The Mystery of Aaravos is incorrect title. Should be more of The Mystery of Callum, because the more of this shit is happening, the more I’m wondering what the hell is Callum?! First human in an over a millennium to be able to use magic, and now he’s a vessel for Aaravos to posses.
They look very much alike Callum and aaravos
No way he Can so easily posess people gently touched by dark magic.
I bet it is because he gifted humans dark magic
What’s the likelihood that Aaravos started life as a dragon 🐉, but was weakened as an elf 🧝♂️ as punishment for his misdeeds and cruelty? Or will he just be like Maleficent and turn into a dragon 🐉 at the final battle?
Wow you have a point, I didn't think of that but yeah , it is realy possible , the fallen star ,he is an archdragon of the star
@@rentvanmcu7310 A former Archdragon who got dethroned
@@joeyblum2533 yeah hahahah that's a very good point, I think before his fall, he was a very powerful archdragon and he was a king of the dragons but because of his obsession with power, the old archdragons have overthrowed him
@@rentvanmcu7310He could have also had a close brotherly (metaphorically speaking) bond with Avizandum, which explains why he turned to Zubeia first. And Avizandum’s the one who started the rebellion against his “former brother”
It is possible. But Startouch elves have a longer lifespan than even the archdragons.
I love this scene so much!
You know... while I like this scene, it's a perfect example of my issues with Rayla's character in season 4.
I think he’s referring to her oath as a moonshadow assassin, which she broke by sparing ezran which is why none of the moonshadow elves were able to see her last season.
@@martingabriela.libunao7172but technically u also have to take in the fact that there is a time slip between 3 and 4, so surely that whole situation should have been mostly resolved idk i haven’t watched season four since it came out

The amoung of errors with Ezran alone is just-ugh...
I dont care uf Aavaros is terrible. I love him so much, he such an amazing character and villian
Well they certainly established just how powerful Aaravos is but why did he posses Callum first 🤔
Well, Callum is technically the first human mage who can do more than a shadow show, so yeah, he's a great asset to have on his side.
Coming soon in season 6…
"Hijacked By Ganon - TV Tropes"
I liked raylas old costume.
What if destined to play into his hands because Callum has his cube. That cube that drives Callum did used to belong to Aravos. Everyone keeps just brushing it off as a toy but what if it connects him to Callum in more ways then dark magic does. Cause we've seen him using people who love dark magic to play into his trap, but i belive this is first possesion at least without the bug thing being there. Callum seems to have a different connection from others to him.
The audio is slightly off
