Unpopular opinion but monsoon season can be so beautiful. The rain makes everything seem so much more green, although the humidity does make it feel like a rainforest! ❤️
That’s the plan! We’ve already visited lots of cities and villages not too far from Shanghai and hope to make some long form videos sharing the best routes for roadtrips from Shanghai! ❤️
Were the green homemade dumplings made with spinach or something else? The shots above the clouds starting at 10:49 are spectacular! It's a shame that you guys ran into fog at the rice fields, though (as well as into bees earlier, lol). Both hotels looked so extravagant! Even just the shots of driving through the forests in rain were so majestic~ I never heard of this place before, and now I'm so curious to see more from there! It reminds me so much of Alberta, Canada
Thanks for watching! Yes, they were handmade spinach dumplings! When I told my Chinese friends I wanted to go to Lishui they said “Why? There’s nothing there”, glad I proved them wrong this time hahah! It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to in China so far! ❤️
Nice and Lovely scenery! I love how they incorporate nature with these developments, like gardens in plazas with ater falls etc, Thanks for your hard work, I can only imagine the hardships and frustrations you guys endure to produce these videos, not to mention expenses and time. 👍👍🌹🌷💓♥️💖💟
Thank you so much for watching! I love trying to capture the atmosphere of a place and improving my cinematography skills (mostly so my parents back in England can feel what it’s like to live in and travel China since they haven’t visited this beautiful country yet!) ❤️
Hello again Natt, it has been some time since I caught any of your videos, the last time I commented I think you were in England, I have not been getting your videos in my feeds and I have been subscribed for some time, I will just have to keep checking myself, anyway I'm glad to see you are enjoying yourselves as always and I have a lot of your videos to catch up on and enjoy.
Thanks for watching! I’m not sure why you’re not getting notified for my videos, make sure you have the bell notifications turned on on my profile! Otherwise we post videos every other Sunday at 5pm Beijing time! Now you have lots of videos to binge watch to catch up on 😉😉❤️
Surprisingly no! Most parking lots have charging spots, the most challenging place to find them is when we are on a highway, most service stops only have around 10 charging stations and it can get quite competitive. We try to break up the driving into chunks of around 350km so we can charge between then. The model Y can drive 432km between charges which is pretty good!
China's EV is doing well because of their success in building and maintaining functioning charging stations infrastructure and together with civilized, well behaved (in general) society and a supportive government it will just progress into even better developments. All that considering China is a huge country with 1.4 billion people. Imagine another western country (not naming it) with 330 million people and their EV failed because of vandalism and rampant stealing of charging copper cables going on, for all that I would blame that western government for NOT LEADING and NOT MANAGING them well - it all boils down to the Head, wherever the Head goes, the body has no choice but to follow.
But if you're a pluviophile, though, you pretty much always welcome the rain. (Unless, of course, it's a monsoon or certain parts of this world where it's drenched basically all the time, then that's like me not wanting to be in the artic circle (even though I kind of do like the cold), because that is frigid pretty much all the time.)
I think I fall into this category. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m from England but there’s something comforting about the rain. Although I always feel less productive on a rainy day like I just want to stay snuggled in bed and not go to work 😅😅
@@ExpatNatt Oh, my God! No, don't go. It's very dangerous for women to go to India. Even the Bengal monitor lizard has to cover its ass when it climbs over India!

For example, a lot of ancient buildings, ancient bridges, pristine forests, rivers, farmlands and so on. Forgive me for saying these things that can be offensive
That’s why we are looking for the more off the beaten path villages that are still untouched by urbanization. There are still so many places in China that are far from the cities and feel like you’ve walked back in time.

Guess China’s south eastern coast is entering its monsoon season now, but it just adds a layer of fairy land feel.

We were in Fugian in January the hotels were very reasonably priced and impressive.
A similar quality of hotel in the UK would cost hundreds of £s.
Exactly! These are mostly all 5 star hotels and cost around £60! You can’t even get a bad travel lodge for that price in England anymore!
