Nice one Craig - great review. As mentioned before on the vids... it's very obvious from looking at the footage of you surf, that the board's catching less and you're not fighting to keep it going.
You've always ripped in all the other videos, but it just looks a lot more fluid now.
Great review! I'm a big fan of your show. Do you guys have any experience with Album's boards? I've heard good things, but have not seen a lot of reviews on them. I'm particularly interested in the Doom.
Are you guys going to do a review on the JS MONSTA 6.
Another great video
can you do a review of the lost V3 stealth as i would love to see how it compares to the V3 rocket
How tall are you Craig and what's your weight so I can put everything into perspective? Cheers!!!
hey do u work at a bakery in byron because I think i saw you in there
Super funny what you said about the front really liking to grab. I've had mine for awhile and I ride a 6'0 as well but at 18 5/8 x 2 1/8 at 26L. I like the board especially in hollow surf because of the grip but even when the waves are good that front is something I always have to be ontop of or it loves to catch. I was wondering if it was just by chance my board did it and maybe going a little wider would help. At 18 5/8 the outline is really straight. Besides that I really like it. Maybe go a little wider and a tiny bit thicker to to loosen it up a little and keep the tail from wanting to catch up front. Cheers!
Craig Windon I meant to say front rail" not tail from catching lol. It just seems to be stubborn in tight pocket snaps etc. it really wants to carve the turn out instead of pivot. The front 1/3 definitely has some bite that can catch you off guard if you're not staying ontop of it. I have a Peregrine with basically the same dims but a tiny bit wider and I haven't noticed the rails catching. B/W seems to be a board that might be a little better thicker and wider. And ya for sure I actually saw you gave me a follow a few days ago, I'm following ya. I'll send you a message or something. Get some waves over in OZ for me it's flat here in Florida. Summer is terrible here
@@TRIKushbeachsideperegrine or this?
@@foxgd88 that’s tough, if you’re looking for more of an all arounder I would probably say black/white but if you’re surfing somewhere that’s more of a point break style etc.. I’d go peregrine. Peregrine for pure speed and power turns and black/white for more all around. The BW is a great carver too but the peregrine just has a little extra speed and hold
Do you think a for a winter board on the northern beaches a DHD DX1 or a BLACK and WHITE would be better.
Great vid btw
Craig Windon oh ok thanks
Hey, i really want to get a black and white surfboard but my parents cant afford a surfboard for me, do you have an extra one by chance
Hi Damon, would love to give every one a board but we pay for each and every one!
@@Comparesurfboards oh k i understand thanks for even replying continue ur vids i like them very much
Just got one, and i have to say its not working for me, it doesnt really paddles that well compared to my Pyzel Pyzalien and my firewire dominator, i bought my black and white with a little bit more volume but still i feel like it paddles not that great, very average board, way better options in my opinion.
Sergio De Anda do you struggle to get into waves on it? How's the pyzalien? I want a board that I can surf on 6 foot waves and was thinking the black and white. Do you reckon the pyzalien will be better?
101unz yeah pyzalien will surf 6ft waves as long as they are not super hollow , the swallow tail version will hold in better than the squash tail in bigger waves, my 6'0 pyzalien paddles better than my grovel boards or my fun boards I don't know why but they just nailed it with outline like I've never seen before, don't be scared to go low on volume, you won't regret getting it.
