the wall didnt work because the people were so loud when they were celebrating it made the zombies more enraged, could have been straight if they would only shut the hell up lol
FUN FACT: Max Brooks' "the Zombie Survival Guide" (of which I still own my original copy), details the best ideas for the undead apocalypse, going from everything: weapons, the best buildings for creating compounds, the whole shubang. It also has a section of human history, in the universe of the story, about "recorded attacks" and how it ended throughout human civilizations. There's also a comic book of the histories under the same name.
World War Z is the scariest book I’ve ever read. Much scarier than this scary movie. I gave the book to a friend to read, who said she had no interest in a zombie book. I told her it was unique among books because it connected with audiences from every demographic: young, old, women, men and any age. Her teenage kids heard me talking about it and both read it. They nagged their mom so much, she agreed to read it. She called me up the next day and said, “You &@$#!!! I stayed up all night reading this $&@!! Book. My room was completely dark except for the clip on lamp on my headboard. My kids snuck into the room and both jumped on me like zombies, moaning and pretending to eat me. I screamed so loud, the neighbors called the cops!” Haha!
@@user-sx6eu4rg2x She was furious with me for days, haha! Then her son got all his friends, and his entire high school, to read it. Then he and his friends dressed up as zombie slayer (like in the book) for Halloween.
The book is insanely good, because Brooks did his research..you can literally visit all places he mentiones in the book and it is like he describes it.
@@ravensdark99 I love his Zombie Survival Guide too. It was a precursor to Z. The most horrifying scene in Z, to me, is the bridge. But they’re all terrifying.
Hi Ms. Asia and Mr. BJ, This is Really My 1st Time Watching this movie. I'm like Ms. Asia I'm covering my eyes with My Blanket. It's a really good movie.
The difference between the theatrical cut and the director's cut is that even though the director is the one making the movie it is the studio that is paying for it, and they get the final say, and so it is often the case that the director delivers the 'final' cut of the movie to the studio and then they say "The ending is too bleak" or "The movie is too long" or "Why was there a talking cat? Why was that in there?" They then make the director re-edit the movie before it can be released to theatres. After a year or two - once the studio has made it's money - they sometimes let the director release the movie in it's original form on DVD/Blu-Ray, that version is the director's cut. It doesn't always mean a better version, sometimes the studio is right to demand the movie gets editted, The Abyss (1989) being a good example of when a director's cut is worse than the theatrical cut, but more often than not the director's cut is the better version and the only reason the studio wanted it editted in the first place was because it was too long to be shown in theatres*. *Studios often own theatre chains and they know that they can make more money every three hours showing two 90-minute movies rather than one 180-minute movie, and so they will always nag directors to make movies as short as possible - big movies like Marvel blockbusters get a pass, but every other movie will have the studio hounding the director to make it as short as possible. Which means we later get to enjoy a much longer director's cut. ^Another type of cut is the unrated cut, this is a version of the movie that hasn't had scenes deleted in order to please the censors. Once a movie has made it past the studio editors it also has to make it past the censors (MPAA in the US and PEGI in the EU), often the censors will demand that excess nudity, gore and certain other stuff gets cut out. The unrated cut is the version that managed to bypass the censors and keep all the icky stuff in. Not all director's cuts are unrated cuts and not all unrated cuts are director's cuts.
How did they make this movie? It looks so real. The CGI is incredible! This had to be very expensive to do this. It blows my mind that we have the technology to create images like this. WOW!
Great movie! There were talks of a sequel, but it was cancelled due to creative difficulties between Brad Pitt and Director Marc Forster as they wouldn't stop butting heads during filming.
1:03:06 - LOL sorry BJ but I'm with Asia. If you have a 100 zombies behind you, as you're running toward the door....cutting it close........just lock the door and tell him to throw the shots in the trash......she'll get the shots later when the zombies finish eating him and walk away. Plus if you've seen BJ and Asia watch horror movies......you should know that by the time BJ turns to her and says "Babe, we better get going before...." she already two blocks down the street.....she ain't waiting for no one lol
There's a music video for Muse - "The 2nd Law: Isolated System" with the chaotic moments of the movie edited to go along with the impactful energy in the song. In a way its almost better than the movie.
reason why many are edited as it costs more specially tv companies have to pay extra to play the movies and over time more gets edited out as tv cut the costs sadly movies eventually lose its way directors or extended are the best movies to watch. thanks both for watching the movie.
I've never bn n2 zombie movies. this came out and I saw FAST zombies on the previews and thot 'NOPE'! I liked this w/u guys. MAYBE I'll watch it sumtime. these ppl remind me more of the ppl from I am Legend.
This was such a terrible movie. But appreciate the reaction to it. No story, just immediately ppl running away from awful cgi zombies the entire movie. That's it. Watch the Crazies. At least they attempt to add substance and a plot.
Funfact: The author of the book is Max Brooks the son of Mel(!) Brooks..that in itself is nuts
Goes to show that taste varies in a lineage.
Just finally finished the book a month ago. This felt so real. Through the eyes of so many people. Amazing book.
the wall didnt work because the people were so loud when they were celebrating it made the zombies more enraged, could have been straight if they would only shut the hell up lol
Viruses scare me!!! My Grandmother survived the Spanish flu and covid pandemic. She passed peacefully at the age of 106.
@@marciabowers7792 The Coming Plague by Laurie Garrett is pretty terrifying and it’s all true!
I could see Asia running and screaming " uh uh, you lying!!!"
Scared Asia is my favorite Asia 😂😂❤

Now you have to check out “28 Days Later” which is along the same lines as World War Z.
This movie was stressful! Asia’s jumps were hilarious.
