When Jerry had to choose his poison he should have held a bottle up to the camera and a note on the slate saying, "Ring phone - One for yes, Two for no".
I think so, too. He could've done that and gotten a "no" twice. On the last bottle, the phone rings one time before a zombie attacks the phone and knocks it off its cradle. Was it going to be a yes or a no? Then the script can go back to "Tell my family that I love them".
Or.... kept it the way it was for suspense purposes. ... besides if it wasn't in the script to infect yourself neither one of you would've known and you 3 would be died anyways.

Sigh.... I've seen this maybe 3 or 4 times over the years and just noticed today that Dr Who plays a doctor at the WHO. I recognized Peter Capaldi, of course, but not the Who/WHO connection 🙃 Great reaction as always!
Brad Pitts character knew what to do because he'd been out in the sh!t. The doctors don't come out of their labs! They practically live there. So they probably didn't run into any terminally ill co-workers for the zombies to ignore.
You both said some things in the first 15 minutes that reminded me of other movies. “Quarantine” is the American remake of “Rec”. I prefer the remake b/c they change something to make it more believable. But, I would watch both, b/c the sequels to each movie are so totally different. In a case of foreshadowing, Scottish actor Peter Capaldi was cast as the W.H.O. doctor...and not long after he was chosen as the 12th actor to play The Doctor in the long-running British scifi series (1963-1987 and 2005 - present) DOCTOR WHO, where he portrays the Twelfth Doctor, the humanoid alien who travels the universe in his police box-shaped ship namedthe TARDIS which is famously A LOT bigger on the inside. Fans know that every time The Doctor is killed, he regenerates into a new body, new face, and new personality to continue, which explains every different actor who's played the part since 1963.

Great reaction. I'm glad you two found this fine piece of American literature entertaining. I love this movie. Unfortunately Brad Pitt wasn't able to get the sequel done.
If I was the captain of the Belarus Airplane, I would have required everyone be seatbelted in the seats, just in case someone gets bitten. Once they turn into a zombie, they don't know how to unbuckle the seatbelt.
Yeah, but the 1 or 2 passengers buckled right next to the infected passenger would be sacrificed. And you would HOPE those infected don't have enough adrenaline (or whatever equivalent the undead have) to simply break free of those seat belts and attack those still buckled and not fast enough to react
