Thank you for the tutorial and for this pattern. I have made this sweater so many times, I have the pattern memorized now and I can’t thank you enough all the baby gifts that I have been able to create and gift. Thank you for creating this pattern.❤
I just want to say a big big thank you for helping me to learn how to crochet. My mum was our talent in the family and she passed a long time ago and I always wanted to do what she did. With your help I have achieved this and I’m so grateful to you 😊😊
I was so hesitant to make a sweater with crochet that i didnt give it much thought. But when i came across ur video, i was delighted. It was the easiest and u have explained it so well. I made the sweater in one day!! I chose to make it sleeveless but i am happy that there is an option for sleeves too, if i decide to add it later on.
Thanks for this tutorial. I am a beginner and i found your tutorial easy to follow. I made one for my baby. I just added a few stitches to make it bigger.
I worked this up in less than an hour. I absolutely love it! It will definitely be a staple in my baby gift baskets. Your tutorial was great and super easy to follow. Thanks for sharing. 💜
Really grateful for this easy pattern! I'm expecting my 1st in June and my crochet skills are not great, but I was able to follow this and get a halfway decent-looking final result. Might practice it a couple more times before I make a "real" one. Thanks!
I love this cardigan. I crochet for premature and angel babies, and this little cardigan is perfect, as it makes up so quickly! Thank you Sara. Love your work. 😊❤
Just finished this cardigan, started last nite, , thanks for a very easy tutorial ,You make things so clear and dont take forever like other videos ive tried and failed to follow, not yours though! i changed the trim of colour for button hole and cuffs ,mine is sky blue and white trim , i did this on a size 3 hook and James C Brett DK baby soft wool and its newborn size , im very pleased with its as its a gift 💗
Hi from the UK, Wales - I’ve been crocheting your baby sets for boys - I’m delighted with them thanks to your tutorials- my grandson is due any day from Friday on🥰🤞🏻So I’m delighted with this little cardi/jacket. You’re a wonderful teacher - you inform us of everything.
This was great! I haven't had much luck with clothes in the past. But I decided it was time I better get it right because now we are expecting our own baby! One suggestion: it is extremely hard to see when you are referring to a space or a stitch. Like, "dc here, skip this stitch, dc in the next stitch, etc". I couldn't see the holes in your video. I have seen other tutorials where they use another color yarn when you want to show a new row so there is a contrast. You could do that or take more time to show the camera. This sweater is really simple and I know anyone who wants to start making clothes can make this! (It will just be easier for us who make mistakes easier if we could see the stitches you refer to in the pattern!) Thank you! I cant wait to check out your other videos and make more things! We've waited 8 years to finally have a baby and he or she will be extremely spoiled!!!
Thank you so much for your easy tutorial. This is my first ever crochet for baby cardigan. And Im newbie in crochet too 🤭. Even I made several mistakes especially the sleeves but Im able to fix it and made me to learn more better. (New knowledge hehe 😅) thanks again ❤️
Thank you so much for this lovely cardigan ! I made it but with a purple and white combination and it's love...! Perfect for a newborn. Thanks again ❤️🌸💫
You’re very welcome ☺️ and congratulations on your baby girl! I’m having a baby niece in June too after only boys in the family for so many years 😃 hence all the girl outfits in my channel recently lol 😂
Hi Sara! when will I learn..hahah I love this cute sweater, I started it with a 6mm hook for a bigger size and when almost done the length realized it was turning out for a 0-3 month old. It's the yarn I used which was a Bernat Premium Red Sparkle 4medium...now not thinking that it's 97% Acrylic and 3%Metallic..lol that is why is was turning small..haah but It is so beautiful so decided to carry on with it..I am learning more about when it's not 100% Acrylic I won't get the right size...Now I know! My other projects thanks to you are just amazing and beautiful...Thanks for all that you do!
Adorable, just can't wait to make one.I love all your projects n have made a couple of them.u r an excellent teacher.thanks a lot for this lovely pattern.love from India...........madhu

Buenas tardes Sarita. Me gustan muchísimo sus tutoriales, son muy fáciles de seguir. Quisiera saber si este tutorial lo tiene en español. Gracias. Bendiciones.
Thank you for this great and easy tutorial! I’m wanting to make one for 12-18 months, could I do that with a 6,5 hook? I already made the newborn size as my first real crochet project and it turned out so beautiful!
Sara if I wanted to use a finer yarn, #2, how do I adjust the amount of stiches to make a sweater for the different sizes? Say a 3 M size and a 6 month size. Thank you!
At the end of the tutorial please show us the measurements of lotta length , width, chest, and sleeve length also. Thank you for uploading such an easy crochet cardigan pattern.
Glad you like it 😀 I’ll see what I can do 😉I have a similar one too that you may like in a bigger size. Here’s the link and it’s #9 on this list ruclips.net/p/PLiGQpEa3IKJ9kAhOtVjMaIh4ZHvT2TURE
This sweater worked up great. I am making sweaters for charity and have lots of 4 weight yarn. Can I substitute 4 weight yarn in some of your others designs for infant sizes?
Could you please tell how many double crochet stitches to do after the 8 DC in the starting of row 3? I think I messed up everything, in have got more stitches.
Hey Sara! I feel like I’m always commenting on all your videos(I am an obsessed fan of your work okay!!😂) Anyways, I’ve used this video to make cardigans and also sweaters for so many of my friends’s babies. I’ve even memorized the pattern now 😅it’s my go-to Cardigan/sweater for newborn-3 months babies😘(last night I crocheted one for my baby girl whose due in 5 weeks but I used Double crochet through back loops method and the sweater came out with a ribbed like texture😍😍😍)

Good work
This sweater worked up great. I am making sweaters for charity and have lots of 4 weight yarn. Can I substitute 4 weight yarn in some of your others designs for infant sizes?
Only if you’re able to use the same hook size but even then it will come out slightly bigger since it’s a thicker yarn.
I had just finished making this beautiful cardigan for my little one.., thank you so much for such an beautiful explanation 💛
You’re very welcome 😊
