The animation effect is as follows
- There is a word written on the slide
- A horizontal line moves over the text
- The written words disappear and the new word appears in line with the movement of the horizontal line.
To create the effect we will use the following PowerPoint tools.
- Add a textbox from autoshapes. Add the text you want hidden in the animation.
- Change the font to a thick font like Arial Black.
- Increase font size.
- Duplicate the text box and add the word that needs to be revealed
- Add Rectangle Rounded Rounded Corner shape
- Click on the Yellow handle of the rectangle and increase the curvature
- Adjust the length of the rounded rectangle so it is long enought to the word
- Add another rectangle big enough to hide the word to be hidden completely.
- Change the Fill color of the newly added rectangle to White. Remove any outline.
- Group the rectangle and Reounded rectangle shapes together
- Add Split animation ( Vertical Out) to the grouped shape
- Add Motion Path Animation ( Down Line Curve) to the grouped shape
- Adjust the amount of motion path animation so it just covers the word to be hidden
- Add Exit animation to the word that is to be hidden
- Now the Rounded Rectangle needs to move back up.
- So add Motion Path animation ( Up) to the grouped shape with the rounded rectangle
- Add Exit animation ( Split) to the grouped shape
- Place the word to be revealed right on top of the word to the hidden
- Bring the grouped shape to Front. - Хобби
Thank you so much for your help. As a teacher during COVID-19, I have been thrown into online teaching. I have decided to help out classroom teachers by making PowerPoints to assist with their spelling lessons. I searched for how to make text disappear after a sequence of events. I was happily surprised to find your videos. I am not tech savvy but was able to follow you steps smoothly. I am so excited about sharing my PowerPoints once I am finished. They look so professional. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you very much, sir. I am a retired teacher doing volunteer teaching of English. You are better than Microsoft. I wanted to find a way to hide answers and gradually reveal them, and I think these steps will allow me to do so.
This is a great tutorial! I needed to create a slide that demonstrated pricing impacts and it was the perfect method to present my case. Thanks for putting this together, well done!!!
Thanks for this, man! More power.
So good, thanks lot for all you do 👍

Great teacher this is my first watching your channel Ang I love it. It's very clear words explained. Good jod sir.
Impressive...👍
Thanku sir
amazing
Cool
This is really good. Seemed hard at first but it really was easy to follow along. What if I have a 3rd word/sentence I want to add to this process? It seems like I would only need to do part of this process to add the 3rd, 4th and beyond, but I'm not sure what step I would start at to allow the next one to appear.
awesome text animation... was wondering if the same effect concept can be done with a non block color background... .for example a picture...
Hi Can we do the same effect in PPT 2007 ? if yes then please guide on that too.
The new one appear before the shape go up.....how to timing it?
Muchas gracias !!!!!!!!!wow
Muchas gracias

Thank you for letting us know Nitin!
Which software do you use to record screen?
This is so fantastic!! Thank you so much. But I am not able to use the animation painter to replicate this effect. Help?
Why not?
👍🏻
Awesome..
indhu s nice
Hey Indhu thanks for watching today.
I am trying to create a contest and use PPT for winners to "pick" a number that hyperlinks to another slide that reveals what they have won. We link back to the main page showing 10 numbers they can pick. However, I want the "number" that was previously selected to "go away" Because the selections of numbers are chosen randomly, and transitions are orderly, I cannot figure out how to make the previously selected number go away and only leave the remaining (unselected) numbers available to select. All automatically as I am in presentation mode. Any tips??
I cannot manage it to get them together. Well I did it but then I have two arrows always. How can I take them together?
With the introduction of Morph, these days I'd prefer that.
Can we use this to hide and reveal multiple texts?
Thank you! However, how can you repeat an entire sequence so that it can go on over and over? I would like the animation to happen continuously until I'm ready to move onto the next slide. For example, this animation will continue through a 15-min intermission during a presentation.
double click the object in animation pane, (that has motion path), click EFFECT tab, tick auto reverse, now go to TIMING tab, and you can choose the repeat option, such as to end of slide, or until next click (when you get back from the break). Cant see any setting for precise timing though (15 min etc)...
Hi sir, how to do?. multiple object different animation work together in single trigger button. Please
Additional tips: You can also put Disappearing Animation red one to hide them completely
I really liked it you are excellent but I found it very difficult and lost you half way through
Good One! However in Powerpoint for Mac it works differently to get the same effect.
Thanks for letting us know. Yes, some features for Mac are slightly different.
@@PresentationProcess Hi- I work on both Mac and PC and sometimes get thrown because there is no "add animation" button. I can't group things or the animation disappears. If I select items individually, then the animation happens. Haven't figured out some of the ways the Mac PPT works. Wish Ramgopal could do a special video just dealing with what is different with the MAC vs PC....even some small tips would be extremely helpful.
make video tutorials on excel and word as well
Maybe some day :)
It'll be great. I've already look all your ppt video and handle those differents tricks (thank you). So we're looking for anothers office software.
Sir please send some useful templates for me as I used to teach my school students
Good day Sir
I could do it ' hideselect'
In my case, name is not hiding as blue line moving across the name. Could anyone arise what mistake I am doing
I got it, what mistake i am doing is instead filling rectangle with white colour, I am making it is as no fill. That's why it is not being hiding
make video about power point short cuts
Thanks for the suggestion Vishnu. We have covered that extensively in the Mastery program.prezotraining.com/ramgopals-powerpoint-mastery/
Are you Gaur Gopal Das, a spiritual guru? You voice is similar to him
Dear sir Hindi me bhi bataye
I’m lost! Lol
Too complicated
i swear power point is the worst program for people that aren't used to it
