I don't understand why everyone always says there's a $700 difference but the regular Playstation costs $500 which means there's a $200 difference plus the PS5 Pro has 1,15 tb more ssd wich would cost at least 100$ in addition, wich makes it a 100$ difference in total
Got mine yesterday. What I’ve noticed with some games, is games look better with the 120hz mode off in the ps5 settings. Yeah I know, obviously. But what I mean is, I’ve been playing f1 24 in quality mode. So it’s 4k 60 with ray tracing and all the bells and whistles. But while playing it, I thought why does this not look as sharp as when i played it on my base ps5. So I went into the actual console settings, and turned 120hz from auto to off. Went back on f1 24. My god, killer difference. So so sharp! It seems even in quality mode with the 120hz on in the console settings, it still ups the frame rate and lowers resolution. Even when I’ve chosen quality mode. Doesn’t make sense.
I was stumped too until I did the same thing...120 to 60 is night and day. Im thinking it's broke and might need a patch because we shouldn't have to go to system settings to disable 120hz.
@ you know when you can really tell. While the game is running you press the PlayStation button, and the menu comes across the bottom of the screen. Really shows it!
So a PS5 comes with 1TB of storage. To upgrade to 2TB like the Pro you'll have to buy a WD - BLACK SN85OP 2TB for ~$200. Which puts you back in PS5 Pro price range.
You’d only need an additional 1TB, not 2TB, to bring a PS5 to the same storage capacity as the PS5 Pro. Then, maybe a disc drive for the PS5 Pro if you have a collection of games on physical media that you still play. Here in Australia, the PS5 Slim Digital was on sale last month for $579 AUD. The PS5 Pro retails for $1199 AUD. That’s a $620 difference. Additional 1TB SSD drive will set you back around $190 AUD. So… is the performance difference worth $430? I’m still undecided if it is.
@@antelopeslr5000 Similar situation here in Sweden. The slim model with disc drive goes on sale for 5900 sek a couple of times each year. The pro including disc drive adds up to 12 000 sek which means it's double. Pretty ridiculous.
I am getting a Pro too, but to be honest, I see no difference in your gameplay. Maybe side ny side would show it better. I am well aware that you need a special case and development done for ps5 pro to be able to really notice.
Not worth the upgrade right now. Racing games need 120fps min and RT ambient occlusion at least. Not reflections. Let us know when PlayStation does 120 fps solid with full path tracing, native 4k. I’m guessing at least 50 RDNA 4 Tflops. If PS6 don’t deliver those specs for £700 then it will flop too. By that time AI chips will be soo Advanced you won’t need a GPU to produce images.

It looks really good just wait till the next game comes out build from ground up just for ps5 pro it will be amazing everyone has to keep in mind that theses games that came out for ps5 did not get made for the pro version they just patched old games so they look better for the pro wait for few weeks nd the ps5 pro next game will look stunning

In Australia the ps5 slim disc cost $750 and the ps5 pro cost $1200 so for us it’s a big price difference
in Spain the ps5 slim digital cost 449€ and ps5 pro 799€, that is 350€ difference for not so much more.
In Europe the difference is 300 euros, not dollars...
Your not getting 500 for your base ps5 though so the difference is what you sell the base for.
In the UK on Amazon, the pro is £699, and the slim is £386.49.

Have you tried use automatic? Instead of 120 or 60?

I agree with you. Max was definitely in a class of his on in that Brazilian GP race and reminds me a lot of Senna's and Schumacher's driving style.
during videos, with people, you definitely can say it is a game. during gameplay, it becomes hard to tell. especially on a 1080 monitor. amazing.
