Very excited to see how this progresses. I've watched a lot of videos on this game, and I must say, your style speaks to me. Not a slave to the Optimization spreadsheet, but not a spaghetti mess.
In an older version about a year ago, I built a partial Sphere around a Blue Semi Giant star. It wasn't the blue supergiant, but it was about the 3rd or 4th largest star in the cluster. The first shell was about 1AU in regards to my starting system. I didn't quite make it go around the entire star, but it was about 1/8 of the entire sphere at about 1AU. It wasn't small! Yet, when I watched Nilaus build on doing one around a Black Hole, it made me feel like an ameature lol! This was before the Blueprints became available and before they even added in the copy-sorter where I was using a mod to copy my building's configurations... Talk about listening to the community and adding in quality of life features! Yeah I give major props to this dev team and to think that this game was made by only 5 people originally... Very impressive! I also like how they made their world grids, it did take a little bit to get use to build efficiently on them but that was part of the fun of the game. I also like their decision on the scale of their game, the size of the worlds compared to the mech, the distances and times between planets within a system as well as the time and distance between one star system and another within a local cluster. This game is awesome! I praise this game as being as good as Satisfactory, and Factorio. There are two other games that I've found that are just as good, Subnautica and Oxygen Not Included. It's really good to see this genre of games expand, there are too few of them!
Well said skilz! I remember the first time I got off a planet and got to fly around the solar system, it was amazing. The developers did a fantastic job scaling down the universe, while still giving it a wonderful vastness to it. It's amazing well polished the small development team had the game when it first came to early access. And Nilaus was definitely a source of some inspiration for Dyson Sphere back then, you'll probably see some of his influence in my builds at some point.
I’m glad you enjoyed. This was just about grouping machines together that share similar items. Gets a little more difficult further along. But that’s that the empty space is for :p
I didn’t even realize the like button at the end until I rewatched the video, my brain is so tired after writing a DBQ in an hour but this vid was a nice relaxer
It's surprisingly tricky to be super organised, at least it is to me as a beginner at the game.... I have something in mind, and within 3 constructions, its gone off the rails lol

Glad to hear it! And yea, I like to find that nice middle ground where us mortals live :)

It's so much easier to watch what someone who knows what they're doing than actually doing it oneself. But I'll try my best to imitate :P

Great builds and I love this game. Awesome vid
Thanks Bigelow! It’s really is a great game.

@@IamAndrewRL Hehe, yea I was laying down some foundations for the end shot and thought it would be fun to do a little something extra.
I am shocked you have so little views and subs, quality is top notch and content is great, keep it up!
Thanks, I appreciate that! One day I will learn how to please the algorithm gods :)
Really enjoyed the hub and the rationale about the way you built it, gave me a few ideas for my own!
Thanks, Glad you liked it 😊
Great video

For the algo.
Hah, much appreciated :)
