Great video! Very thorough and you show a lot of budget options! Its great that you don't skip that and expect people to have all the best things when they just start out! Keep it up!
Absolut amazing guide, love that there is alot of focus on obtaineble budget items.
true, I am full of all these op guides
Dang bro. I'm surprised you ain't bigger. Great videos! I like the way you explain stuff. Thank you
+1
Parabéns pelo vídeo incrível . Melhor video de diablo2 que vi sobre builds que e focado para jogadores que nao tem itens super forte . muito obrigado . continue assim video top .
Awesome guide. Metamorphosis helm i think trumps jalals now that it is a thing, definitely harder to obtain though.
Commenting for the algorithm. Thanks for the vid
good guide, thanks dude!
Thanks for the tip on upgrading the ribcracker! I tripled my damage muahahha :)
Someone else that loves playing werewolf? Easy sub. Picking the game up today! Super stoked!
Tip, you can have a spirit and a sigons shiled in the off hand, and do all the summoning with off hand, and then transforming in to the werefolf, taking advantage of +3 to all skills
Then why not double spirit or rune word for +3 :)
Totally unrelated, but damn you look like a doppelgänger of a young Gary oldman! 5th element, Leon the professional… haha one of my fav actors! But awesome video, this is helping me build my fury Druid, he does surprisingly well, I’m just limited by my gear lol
I'm a lil' late to the party, but arguably the single best weapon you can get on a fury druid would be an eth tomb reaver with 2 ruby jewel of fervor and a zod.
Obviously way over the top and a shael'ed ribcracker is more than enough, but you know. If you are really that filthy rich, might aswell go the extra mile. ;)
Looks really nice as a build I like it, werewolf is a bit dangerous sometimes once you stop leeching life you go down :D
16:00 I found a ribcracker on my barb, which inspired me to play a shapie druid, but as I only play ssf... but then I found a ribcracket at lvl 30 and I am of course still sporting it :).
currently have the mid tier rib cracker with the IK maul in reserve once I hit the stats for it
Feral Rage is clearly superior, but would Hunger work here as well? I'm really struggling with Mana; would Hunger be worth the extra 3 points of prereqs?
Thanks for the video ;-)
Great vid but how can you deal with Iron Maiden and PI creatures?
Hey, man!
Thanx a lot for video!
I have a question...
Whats the difference between online and offline character? Should i prefer one or another?
Thank you
So if you get IAS on any or gloves or belt it doesn’t matter for Fury druid? It needs to be on weapon only?
Treachery as a budget armour is pretty OP considering the update to how fury druid gets Ias from everything now. My treach fury druid spanks.
I heard recently, probably before this vid, they changed the way ias works on whirlwind and feral druids and made it so ias on your other items affects attack speed. Is that true?
atma's scarab instead of highlord's as you hit so often, works for me.
do you also use draculs? they overwrite each other
Wolf doesnt need draculs omg :D
@@tomassudlik9763 enjoy running into undeads...
I run dracs and atma's. Atma's does proc so does dracs. You can only have 1 curse running so they overlap sometimes. But I only roll with atma's if I farm a area I need it in. Otherwise high Lord's and dracs. Dracs is a must if you can get it. I don't care what anyone says. It has saved me a few times.
Man I have a build you may be interested into trying: SHockwave/Maul hybrid
Hoto, spirit, jala, arach, Bk rings, highlords (maybe), laying of hands gloves, shape shift GCs
On Switch: GreifZ and phoneix or another weapon?
Merc: Reapers toll? Blessed Aim? or might?
Skills: Max: shockwave/Maul/Grizzly/Dire wolf
HOA-5 to 10 points for life since you wont use CTA or HOW for more AR since you will need more AR
What you think if you dont mind me asking? the shockwave bug just seems too nice to pass
My fave character also. I started using hunger and fire claws with firestorm senergy. I do like 3k more damage. I got a fortitude armor and its underwhelming. Feel like the 300%damage didnt do anything.
Is it a bug when u get knocked outta werewolf form ❔
im comin over
Please take this as constructive criticism, as I intended it to be:
Was so happy to see you talking about budget options mainly, and had super high hopes when you started mentioning the Immortal King pieces, but then in the end you didn't bring up one MASSIVE consideration. Let me take a second to set up the point I am going to make about IK - almost all of the set pieces drop constantly (super common), and if you are on Bnet they can be traded for cheap. We are talking maybe 5-10 pgems per piece, often people just dropping them in a trade game for free and leaving... which makes them absolutely super budget (minus the Armor piece of course). The reason I bring all of this up, is because you failed to mention the largest issue ever for a melee character, in relation to how you ranked your "Godly" piece recommendations, and that issue is Physical Immunes in Hell.
Full IK set minus the helm, adds as a set bonus 345-1238 Elemental dmg, with +204 Poison dmg on top of all that. This is absolutely huge, it has better top end Ele Dmg than an Azurewrath, and that sword just rips thru PI Monsters like butter. In addition, with melee chars mostly stacking tons of Crushing Blow, how huge is the difference really between 40% on IK and 50% on Ribcracker? Sure the Rib is faster, although with 2x Shaels (or some rich people use nice IAS/DMG jools instead) the IK Maul becomes more competitive on the speed dept as well.
Trust me, I own and have used Ribcrackers as I am sure most Fury Druid players have at some point, and they are fun up to a certain point. But how "Godly" can a weapon be that forces you to constantly run away from/attempt to competely skip any monster pack that contains PI? Or even worse, PI Stoneskin. And what about a mob you CAN'T skip, like if you were doing Ancients in Hell or farming for Organs, any place where PIs are in abundance... do you just constantly run away from packs in that "godly" gear set?
Really hope this can sway your opinion a little in favor of IK being a much superior option in most cases, especially online if you can easily trade for pieces. All in all though, loved the video.. liked and subscribed!!
Edit: Removed some inaccurate info, thanks to Jordan for the correction.
I appreciate the thoughtful response. I don't disagree with you here. Yes I tend to avoid physical immunes (although I can sometimes get away with Enchant proc'ing from my Merc's Obedience for fire damage). Good point about the 1 hander thing.
To break physical immunes the recommended merc weapon is reapers toll, decripify and then done. Alternatively or in combination with reapers toll you can use a demon limb for a brief second on your weapon swap, cast the enchant, and then you do fire damage AND greatly increase your attack rating (swap back to CtA). I have a fury Druid with all GG gear on my Druid and my merc (fortitudes) my merc almost never dies and I never have to run away from stoneskins or physical immunes.
the 99 FHR with one handed weapons only applies to human form. Bear and wolf form have their own FHR tables that are unaffected by the type of weapon they're wielding. 86 FHR is the sweet spot.
Now with physical sunder charms and amended IAS the reaper’s toll is amazing. PI is of no concern. Have obedience in off hand to proc enchant also.
Im gonna make one of these except a high strength build. I have been ignoring these max vitality builds first for the Bowazon. Did max dex glass cannon, and she fucking owns. Did max strength WW barb, and he is doing 10k max damage. So i’ll do a max str build on this.
I like your style. Dex build bow is pretty standard but still.
Insight partisan is great if you get 6 to critical
what about cranium basher?
I'm rocking a eth zoded earthshifter on my fury ggedon druid
15k fury
9k ggedon
I kill Ubers with a fortitude on my fury Druid. You should also show what your merc has as well as what is budget and GG for a merc
I think Fort is probably best with the ed
I also dont use summoning im all werewolf. The summons die too fast for me.
is it worth it to go eth ribcracker, considering one looses 20% increased attack speed, for fury druid?
you lose one attack speed breakpoint.. I think it is not worth it
I still cannot find a jalals mane after almost 400h of game time :(
EDIT. FOUND ONE! Hell Andariel dropped one for me
It should also be said that you want to equip in your inventory as many small charms and grand charms as you can with plus to damage, attack rating and life. So 3 20 20, and 10 76 40 respectively. For the ribcracker, i personally go with a fervor jewel if i have a non-eth variant of the weapon for both increased attack speed and damage. Though I've heard in 2.4, the new meta for fury druid is now eth reaper's toll due to the speed changes made to werewolf interactions with weapons. Speed isnt as important now so you get a much wider range of weapons to choose from. Its also nice to be able to proc decrep to break those pesky physical immunes. Great video apart from that though! Cheers!
u play for pc or console? if u play from pc can u tell me how can i make monsters show their hp at all times?
PC but usually with controller. I think the health bars always showing above the monster only works if you use a controller or play console w/ controller
@@ConjurusHex i suspected so, ty
If want really really end game weapon, its upped eth zodded upped ribcracker or eth zod-40/15-40/15 eth tomb reaver. Both of those will be true high end gear. Both are quite expensive really and harder to luck into finding; especially the eth tomb reaver not counting the socketing required. But those weapons in hands of a fury druid = quick deaths. Tomb reaver is slightly up there at quicker; outside of like if you want to uber as the druid, but for normal things and even normal bosses the eth tomb reaver will out damage(along with giving you a nice res booster too) the ribcracker even with its crushing blow boosts. But finding a decent eth tomb reaver, along with 2 40-15s and a zod is well, you have better chance of getting attacked by a shark on a mountain top :)
Wacking really fast? Sounds like my teenage years, playing Diablo LoD that is... what were you thinking?
Used the bonesnap for a little bit waiting to lvl for my eth upped ribcracker. It sssssuuucckkkkss
I've never maxed feral rage on any feral build - feels like too big of an opportunity cost vs fury.
You max fury 1st, then feral
Not sure if you understand: a Fury hit is so much better than a Feral hit - why ever max it?
@@Exedorable because your fury hit will ALSO have feral....
As long as that red bubble is floating around your druid, your feral is always active. And then you spam your fury
That's just for movement speed no?
@@Exedorable no, everything, including life leach
Sic AmUleT
Unpopular opinion but 3-4 piece IK is super underrated on fury Druid.
Also if you stack COH, IK maul, and LOH gloves- you’d have +650% damage to demons. Just sayin..
U need eth 3 os tomb reaver zod and 2 x 15/40 or shael + runeword treat armor and vigor bow on Switch for fast run promise its insane in d2r
Whacks hard and fast. Fury werewolf is truely my spirit animal.
verdungos for me
windhammer has 50 crushing blow and is faster than ik
really believe in twitch// there 1% to inch Windhammer Twist with Hunger.. Lmao
We're fat now? We're fat now.
hello dear sir, here is the bone u asked for!
this is a very good beginners guide(it really is!!!), although i have some things to suggest to make it more advanced:
on the one hand, i love that you really go in deep on the dirt cheap items(especially the ik-combo), but on the other hand your godly gear is what i kinda would call budged, after 3weeks of returning to the game. if u cant afford that stuff, just make a sorc 1st and do some countess or meph runs. yes, there might be some best-in-slot items here, like jalals, gore riders, draculs(at least for ubers), raven, string of ears(maybe, verdungos is also very strong), highlords, that will cost you a little, but its really not that much.
for a budged version i would keep the rest and replace those items. you did a very good job of showing alternatives for those items, but i would also like to hear your opinion on the angelic set combo:2*angelic rings and angelic amulett, it gives a ton of attack rating. then there are my beloved bloodfists that should also deserve a mention, and, as ugly as it is, you can use tals mask for yourself too. as a shapeshifter you fortunatly dont have to look at it all the time.
you also didnt spend any time on explaining what inventoy(charms) you should be looking for, just as u didnt (i think) mention what kind of act2 merc to go for. duriels can also be really really good for your merc.(btw u wanna give ur merc ethereal items since they dont need to be repaired, not sure if this was mentioned too)
i was clicking on your video because of the "in-depth" in the title, hoping to learn how exactly the ias breakpoints for druids work. you did a great job with the crushing blow graph, why no graphs on ias, or even fhr, and what is deadly strike?(a deadly strike deals twice as much dmg than a normal one, as far as i remember) what about weapon range?
also, u said that its your personal taste, but still: i would never use carrion wind, let alone recommend it for anyone else in public. stop that, its cringe. i also dont understand why you left that grandcharm on the ground but got excited about a unique naga...
and, as a general rule, i would allmost always max out resistances be4 going for more dmg. especially if u get to lvl 87+, and u can get there very fast. the real grind starts after that. in your case, yes, that would mean that i strongly suggest u think about using smoke over duress, or even duriels, if u have another rly good ring to replace raven as u would already have cannotbefrozen then.
i hope i was more helpful than offensive and/or mean, if not i apologize...and if u need any help on further stuff let me know.

Took bro 30s to kill pack of mobs my ssf paladin with spirit stealth and lore can kill in 5 and he's ending that with "you know it's a good build".
Kinda shame casters are so op in d2.
"Legoshi"
Lol
Those soul definitely stronger than Diablo 🤣
I never understood why people maxed werewolf, you bottlenecking that attack speed, all you getting is attack rating, and the effectiveness of % attack rating depends on the gear, it's in a lower % even with your set up.
Because where else would you spend the points?
Grizzly?
Dire wolf?
You synergies with the skills you have to use
There is a much better way to make a Fury Druid than this. Dracs gloves, Gore Riders/Treks/Wartravs boots, Nosfer/Dungo belt, Ravenfrost/BK rings, Last Wish and Pheonix shield, Jalals helm, Fortitude or Chains of Honor, Highlords or Maras amulet, good GCs and SCs, and for the mercenary an Act 2 Holy Freeze Aura if you are using Last Wish or Might Aura mercenary if you are using anything other than Last Wish, equip the mercenary with ethereal Fortitude, ethereal Vamp Gaze, and either Doom polearm or Pride Polearm depending on what gear you are using.
So many variants and more powerful builds than people think they can optimize for ALL characters, not just Druids. Not having the resources and high runes is the problem in which case you should just settle for a budget build for the time being.
Watching you play on controller hurts my feelings :D
Bro you needa see my druid... I wish I cared enough to stream. He makes your druid look like a chump
The issue with "guides" like this is that gear isn't even budget gear. That's OP gear if you're starting off a season as a melee druid. You're rocking yellows and maybe a hsarus on p1 forget higher players. This "budget" build is for 2nd 3rd or 4th character after a sorc or hammerdin not a first character
Lol the godly gear isnt even godly
Not well made builds..... CRUSHING BLOW not well explained... waste of time, max roll is making better builds and they are not super top meta.... JUST TRASH.
