appreciate the feedback. All my builds revolve around QOL. I understand wanting to use a faceted up build, but IMO, it would have been too big of a hit on QOL for what I had. If I had life skillers, then I could use the small charms to get more res on the build, but as is, it was kinda squishy still. Redemption kinda gives you a false sense of security because your life/mana are usually full, but less than 3000 HP can be scary. Yes more dmg, but QOL will suffer. Since this is a vita build going for max res. Now also keep in mind that +2 all skills is 14% FM dmg. Ormus is 15%. So the difference is +1 to fireball and 1% dmg. Yes you can facet it, but still a small difference.
For higher DPS I would switch to obsession in +3 to fireball staff and enigma for higher magic find and added strength plus you'll save some points on the strength you can dump to life or energy (when running ES). I personaly like 75% ES and dump points into energy to hit around 3k mana. You should hit 105% FCR pretty easily with just staff+gloves+belt and that would open another options for rings (dual SOJs) and amulet. You can also change to frostburns and keep 2/20 amu for even higher mana. With high mana you'll have very high regen. And I would use prayer merc to heal me. On switch you can use CTA in staff with +3 to ES (you can save some skill points here). That would be an engame build for me.
That is def an option and completely different haha! I did test having max mana and points into ES, but it didn't feel as good or safe. Going max vit with max res felt a lot better for me in this setup. Also, Not going to find a +3 fireball staff for obsession. haha

Yea I get it. I don't always go for max DPS in my builds. I go for the highest DPS while maintaining a high QOL. The issue when I was making this build is that, you couldn't get many points into TK unless you totally dropped Hydra. Which is a huge source of AOE and single target dmg. I am hitting 105 FRC with the build. So the balance of 105 FRC, 21k fireball dmg, 47 fire pierce, and full and over capped res, was nice. The only thing I would like more is life skillers. Then I could have 3k life, full res, which would be great in my opinion. I felt like trying to make ES on the build was sacrificing too much dmg.
When looking at D2 planner, compare the time to kill vs like Diablo or Baal, and not just the DMG number. Because yes, with SPirit, and 2x soj, the fireball dmg is 25k, vs 21k but you are actually doing less dmg because you don't have as much -EFR. Then if you didn't have Hydra, you are doing even less DPS overall. It's important to play test these builds and not just plan out a build on D2planner.
