My 10 year old T1D son is meeting Dr. Bernstein later today. You're absolutely correct when you call him a pioneer. He's a GIANT!

It cracks me up that you don’t have a bazillion likes & views, etc etc. You are such a valuable asset to this community of T1s who understand the law of small numbers and the illness we get to avoid or reverse. Thank you Justin.

You are spot-on, Justin. You are always so helpful and very wise. I agree with someone else on here who commented that they are surprised you don't have a bazillion views and likes. ALL your videos are SO EXTREMELY VALUABLE!!! Everything you say is absolutely true. You're the BEST!!!!!!! Yes, I wondered why you stopped making videos for a while and was delighted when I saw you were back. You're a good and kindhearted person. I am VERY GRATEFUL for you!!! Thank you for spreading the good word. Keep up the good work. We love and appreciate you!!!

70yr T1 that was told by this dietician in 1980 that it was OK to eat sugar and just dose your insulin. I never had a doctor that told me anything about nutrition but it was common sense for me to lower carbs. (Carnivore with 5.6 A1c).

How old were you when your were diagnosed?
I'm a type 1 as well, 20 years as a diabetic. My a1c is 5.7 last time so it's good to hear that you're 70

You are so right about it. I been a diabetic for 50 yrs. And if I did what same doctors said to do, I wouldn’t be alive now.

Indeed, the US tyranny of “medical malpractice” (litigious nation) undermines us all. Thanks BigPharma!

you are exactly right on the "money" :)
my mother was a type 2 and I tried for a year and a half to get her to change her diet, even to the point of clearing all the food out of her house and cooking her meals for her. But try as a might she just didn't want to change. I became the bad guy, and in the end she could not take care of herself and had to go to a nursing home. one year later she died. when you talk about people just not wanting to change, that's been my experience as well. it seems for most people it's just easier to keep going the same old way even if it kills them. :(
just know there are some people out there like me that still believe in you.

I understand! My grandpa was on the verge of being officially type 2 diabetic, but he asked me for advice and I gently guides him on the right track. Now hes not perfect, but he watches his carbs much more than before and has kept his A1C out of the danger-zone.

My experience people have said to me, "your opinions are crazy, and unreasonable! I tell them that these beliefs are valid or not evidenced based! So, I'm judged and treated like I'm stupid, and somehow I use crystals, and dance naked while the moon is full!" LOL! It's unbelievable! 😮
