The sleep pattern is accurate in terms of total sleep, the conclusions of that app not so. I'd prefer it had some summary of the Heartbeat+SPO2 level findings instead. The stress level is mostly gimmicky. The graphic presentations of constant-on SPO2 and heartbeat could be done better, but this tiny watch has it, while most others in this price range do not. It's always useful for seeing a trend. Therefore, the watch is good for exercise, but also for people who want to watch for possible heartneat issues, or for those with breathing problems. Overall it's really good for the asking price. Marlon's review is actually accurate. The auto-screen brightness tends to be too dimm.The standby screens lack a 100 % sparse version, but the standby function by itself is good. It is one of the few smartwatches you can actually use "always on". And about the other points I agree with him - good and bad, too.
On top of the said let me add another important feature: Most other smartwatches are simply too big and heavy for wearing at night, during sleep. This here is a smartwatch which can be worn during sleep.

Stress Level is based on certain heartbeat patterns detected. That's what Marlon was trying to express. The watch show stress, yet it might not be stress for me, but for example the pattern might be the result of something I do, and I find exciting ...

I was thinking about buying band 6 or fit smartwatch. Compared to these two watches, I feel like I should buy fit smartwatch after watching this review because of the larger screen. i don't get it every time i check my huawei watch gt2 pro my stress markers are always bright orange or yellow but whenever i see these youtubers show their stress level they are always more blue than anything else and i don't feel as if i am stressed out any way i had to get the watch fit new i will compare waiting on it's arrival nice vid
Thabk you, I'm not sure exactly how the stress levels are calculated, do you have a high resting bpm? Sounds silly but is the watch resting in the right part of your wrist? I notice it becomes less accurate if its to high or low on my wrist. Would be interested to see how the new watch works for you. @@eburneentertainment9903 yeah, I may be wrong, but I believe it is because Huawei phone has access to everything, where as on a Samsung phone, and most other phones running android these days, it will be restricted due to the rules put in place by US etc. last year closing access to google. Its good to know they do work on Huawei phones, but yeah a bit of a shame it doesnt work with non-Hauwei ones.
It tracks SPO2 and it does track sleeping, I have not used the miband to compare but it will chart both your sleeping pattern from a light, deep sleep perspective and the spo2 is on a separate chart.
Great review. Anyway did you find that when you turn on the display (either by rotation or by button) the heart rate suddenly goes up by 20/30 beats and then returns to the correct measurement? This thing this only happens when you turn on the display, it does not happen when you keep it active or during workouts. I have had this problem with the Watch Fit Elegant, but huawei support told me they all do this sort of bug.
Heya, great for gym and using its monitoring tools, especially if you use the built in programs. Not sure this will otherwise count reps for you though automated.
Heya, yes I use it for lane swimming at the swimming pool, works very well but you have to make sure you go right to the end otherwise it won't count the length. I have not tried it super deep but for normal swimming works great. 😀
@@MarlonKingShow i am thinking to give it back and look for a better one...when I work out în gym its not showing right bpm i was high on bpm like 160 170 and the cllock was saing 120 130 i have test my bpm on the tredmill and was 160... and I was felling like high bpm....so its not so good for wheight lifting... @@AlexDinca2003 you may find you need to position it slightly different on your wrist, not too low or high. But ultimately if it still doesn't work then agree its best to change it for one that works best. In general it has worked fine for me, a few times it has slide further up or down my wrist as I wear it loose and it has not read accurately but when I moved back it worked fine.
My question is can you set it up without the use of a phone? Most watches nowadays only work with a phone and i was looking for one that is not phone dependent even on the initial start up.

You will get call alerts, and you can reject the call from the watch. But the watch does not have speakers or microphone so will not answer the call or have anything to do with the call after pickup. Hope that helps.

I used to have a Fitbit and the advantage of that was the community group challenges and the virtual trails .. which may have been removed of late. But with huawei I don’t know of any such apps thst connect with this huawei watch Fit and I don’t have many friends who have huawei watch to be able to add them to be able to compete. I just ordered this as my first fitness tracker, and then found out that it doesn’t have tap-to-wake. Even the cheaper Huawei Band 6 and 7 have this feature, but weirdly absent in the Watch Fit. Have you ever felt the need for it?
I've never felt like I need it, probably helps with battery by not accidentally turning on, I just either twist my wrist, or push the button on the side.

Really enjoying the watch and I don't miss tap to wake as the raise to wake feature is particularly good (except when lying down in bed, on my side). @@Daskalos76 Loving the Watch Fit. I feel no real need for tap to wake, and it's great being able to track my runs/biking with GPS without needing my phone. If you don't need GPS, the Band 7 should be fine.
The band 6 is a bit cheaper, but if you can find the watch fit in a deal, there is not much difference in price and you get a slightly bigger and more usable screen alongside GPS tracking which is great for if you do lots of walks or running. If you want smaller or dont need GPS, save your money and get the band 6
Could I ask, what does the calendar notifications look like on the Fit? It looks like you have sync with the Huawei app on your phone, and show notifications to the watch, but I would like to know how they look?
Thanks Jorge, I actually bought this in Hong Kong believe it or not 😆. Made a few videos while I was out there on this channel if you are interested. Not sure you can buy them else where, at least wouldn't be the same as this has some hand stitched parts. But if you ever go to HK, I bought it at Victoria peak.
Good review but have you checked the steps count accuracy and heart rate BPM? They are worse. I wore Fitbit, MI band 5, apple, and Huawei band 6 on both my wrist. Huawei turned out to be worse, it showed 200 extra steps count on every 2500 steps and the heart BPM keeps changing often, it stays often above 80, even while you are resting. I had to return this product twice. Now please tell me they have fixed this issue. Note : This is known issue in all huawei and honor watch.
Thanks man, I haven't been able to compare step count as currently only have the one smart watch. I find if you have the strap to loose or in the wrong place on the arm the bpm will not adjust correctly, you may have found this issue by having multiple devices on the same arm for testing, but I find just moving the position by an inch can solve this. What I will say is I used it swimming the other day and it was bang on with the number of lengths I did (in distance) which was reassuring. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. However I understand if you are going for up most accuracy you may have to do further checks or seek higher priced devices potentially.

Why do all these reviews look the same, I know what features it has and what screen I can look that up on the Internet, why not do some testing like running, biking and swimming (distance, heart rate, time, laps, lanes in the pool...etvc.) for example and tell us how it performed if results reliable, thats usefull not this kind of review thats a complete waste of time...
I found out the expensive way that there is no battery replacement available on the Huawei watch fit. Huawei customer service told me to throw it away and buy a new watch. And they don't offer any battery replacement on any of their wearables. Huawei has become a disposable brand

Or choose to use for exercise.. All in all is a decent band , but nothing special. It is good for huawei phones. Otherwise...
This is by no means on standby....I have all 3 monitoring switched permanently on and still get 7 days out of it, including a fitness session or two a week and tracking walks. I dont think the cheaper fitness bands have the same level of monitoring or as decent screen. This is about double the price of a cheap fitness band, but half the price of a smart watch so I think its in the right place for the money. Hope you found the video helpful 😎
This band is really good for fitness to say its only £60 I can't think of any band that's better for the price due to the First Beat analytics and accuracy as well as real 24/7 heart rate monitoring and 24/7 spo2 monitoring.
More over the sleep monitoring is a joke. It was charging over night, around 5am i placed it on my wrist and i had another 2h of sleep. When I woke up the sleep report said my sleep has a 83 score for more than 8h of sleep.. Ridiculous.
Probably suggest a sledge hammer if you want big impact. Alternative option is to hold it by the end of one of the straps and smash repeatedly against the corner of a desk, note, in this option, more frustration may come if a) the strap breaks before total destruction or b) the watch damages thes desk in the process. Good luck.

Works with Spotify for me, it also works with Google Chromecast, I can peruse/play/skip and change volume on things I'm streaming on my TV

It auto detects. I've never had to do anything other than check it syncs the data with my phone the next morning to see how well I slept.

The band 6 is a bit cheaper, but if you can find the watch fit in a deal, there is not much difference in price and you get a slightly bigger and more usable screen alongside GPS tracking which is great for if you do lots of walks or running.

HI Steven, it comes through looking like a basic text message, I don't believe it gives you the time and date, just the title of the calendar event.

You have to use the huawei health app. I haven't tried Google fit but it won't work with my Samsung health app, so may well be the same.

Alternative option is to hold it by the end of one of the straps and smash repeatedly against the corner of a desk, note, in this option, more frustration may come if a) the strap breaks before total destruction or b) the watch damages thes desk in the process.
