Hi bud, probs a stupid question but was just wondering is there a way to plug your headphones in for cueing the tracks? I’ve looked about but nothing seems to say?
Nice tutorial. My question is that I want to set up my laptop to a numark dm1050 together with a SPL 500eq Amp to the speakers as a one sound system. Am still struggling to get the wheels rolling. Please your advice will be really appreciated.
@SoulAssassinz36 hi there, thats fine you can plug your mixer into your computer, you can connect a cable to the record out on your mixer mentioned @ 5:35 in the video into the line in on your computer. just make sure you don't connect it to the mic in and you'll be fine. im actually in the process of filming a video on how to connect your computer to your DJ setup so lots more info in that video. hope this helped and thank you for your comment. nice one!!!
no worries mate, glad the video was a help, its interesting that you said about the separate amp because I still use separates and I was thinking, I bet there are people out there that still do. thank you for your comment.
hi there, sorry for taking so long to reply my internets not been working for a while and i haven't been able to check my account, as for your question you can use any speakers as long as the wattage of the speakers isn't too low as appeased to the wattage of the amplifier and also make sure the wattage of the speakers are not over the wattage of the amplifier. hope this helped i was thinking of doing a video on it if i do you'll be the first to know. thanks for the comment. nice one!!!
Hi Vip I like the vid I have a numark DM 1002 MII and 2 Prosound active speakers, can I use the the Master output and record output to put the sound thru the prosound speakers. Or do I need to get another mixer with 2 master outputs get a full stereo sound . At the moment the master volume on the mixer only affects the master output to the one speaker if you know what I mean.
