Policeman: "unfortunately there is no law against filming" There is nothing "unfortunate" about exercising his rights. They need to stop saying "unfortunately".
I’ve just read the GDPR laws regarding citizens in public and it says this If an individual is in a public place or in a public right of way and is not collecting or processing personal data in a professional or commercial capacity, they are not usually considered a data controller or processor under the GDPR. Therefore, they would not typically be liable for GDPR compliance in such a situation. However, if the individual is collecting or processing personal data in a public place or in a public right of way, they may still be subject to GDPR requirements. For example, if an individual were to take photographs or record videos of people in a public place and share them online or with others, they would be considered a data controller and would need to comply with GDPR requirements, such as obtaining the individuals' consent to collect and share their data. It is important for individuals to be aware of GDPR requirements and to ensure that they are complying with them when collecting or processing personal data, regardless of where they are doing so. So it seems you are breaking GDPR (TLA) 🏴
The police used to wear the Union Jack flag with pride, but it upset a sector of the community, so a compromise was initiated that the flag would be defaced by putting a blue line through it, at first this was not accepted till they informed the upset sector that this defacement would disgust the countries people, that their past & present family members had laid their lives down for their country & flag, a flag that is now being dishonoured. R.I.P. Flag of the brave. Great vid TLA who honours our HERO's.
Wow, to think every one of those security guards is supposedly trained and vetted to work with the public. Shocking how easily they escalate, cause a disturbance, and ignore their manager. Completly out of control.
It's not really an ''Audit'' in the general sense, but it's wonderful to see how some of the £100M is being spent on the Coronation of King (nutter organic farmer and billionaire) Charles III. Love your videos (NOT Audits) like Hyde Park demos, and other subjects of public interest that MSM don't cover. Will make fascinating viewing in 20 or 30 years' time. Thank you for your efforts and up-to-date coverage.
I'm very surprised of the amount of security guards in London that are ignorant about the laws of photography. Surely London are one of the top cities in the world for tourism photography.
i do agree with you that 100 million could and should be spent on social care so they can help with caring for people in their homes and mental health as it comes under their jurisdiction. after the pandemic lots more people have got mental health problems and sorting out social care to let people stay in their homes keeps people out of hospital to free up beds to those who really need it. king charles could of put up the cash for this himself as it would help the country which he loves!!! when i see so many security way before the event i think how much is that costing alone each day when there are lots of cameras and cops everywhere. so much wastage it makes me cross. king charles should be ashamed of himself. he would never have to wait 2 years for an appointment to see the nhs or wait nearly 20 hours in a+e because everyone in on strike again. it makes me wonder how much the met charged the public for this event too as it was overkill yet again as in many london events. even with notting hill with that many police their were 8 stabbings and even the cops were getting sexually assaulted. over the 2 days 308 arrests. around all the cops and cameras they still manage to have machetes. i dont recognise london anymore.
The human psychology is so strange.. give them a plastic “security” badge and suddenly they assume authority of the king himself. Same here in the states. Crazy.
Didn't like the way the first copper said "Unfortunately he is allowed to film" shows they don't like the law as it stands, which will be changed eventually
100 million pounds for the King's Coronation is not justifiable when the UK has other urgent priorities. Shame on the RF for not having a less extravagant day/week.
Seriously needs upgrading the security industry recruitment process. Ignorance, aggressive attitude, complete lack of professionalism in abundance. Mostly pretend gangsters in high vis from what I can see.....
Lots and lots of complaints have been submitted to the S.I.A., and ALL have been completely ignored. As long as they get the fees for training, they couldn't care less.
