New PS5 Update Replaces RUclips

Sony is introducing a new Community Game Help feature on the PS5 later this year that is designed to automatically create clips that can help other players. PS5 players will be able to automatically upload gameplay to help contribute to hint videos provided by game developers.
The opt-in experience will let your PS5 automatically capture a game clip when you complete an activity in supported titles. “Then, it will be reviewed by a moderator, and if approved, your video will be published as a Game Help hint for PlayStation players to watch, learn from, and rate,” explains Sabrina Meditz, senior director of product management for the PS5 platform experience.
PS5 players will be able to use the clips to help complete trophies or find hidden items in a game, instead of having to head to RUclips and scan through videos to find help. These new community clips will build on top of Sony’s existing Game Help section that includes access to hints, tips, and walkthrough videos from developers.
The video clips will be removed from a PS5 console once they’re uploaded to Sony’s servers, and if a clip is approved and published, you’ll get a notification on your PS5 that your gameplay is now published as a Game Help hint. No audio from a webcam, microphone, or party chat will be included in the clips. There will be a published video section where you can then remove any clips.
“Community Game Help will start to become available in select games later this year, and our goal is to expand it to as many titles as possible in the future,” says Meditz.

And I will say that when I’m playing on those devices, it almost feels more like a console than a PC - nine times out of 10. The things that usually frustrate me are more Windows-based than device-based. Which is an area I feel some ownership of. Like, I want to be able to log in with a controller. I’ve got my list of things we should go do.”

A lot of gamers use the RUclips to upload great content on ps5 I use it a lot. Getting rid of that feature is war 😡
Don't think that's what they're doing. Just using your game footage to make clips to help players within the PS5 system/network. He didn't say anything about removing RUclips as an app or anything else that I heard
It was disappointing for me when I finally switched over to ps5 from ps4 at the beginning of this year and a lot of games that had a free upgrade to the ps5 version didn’t have the ability to transfer saves. So I have to start all the way from square one (I’m looking at you, Worldless)

I saw one of the units they make several units... Xbox handheld saw a quick video....the one I saw is a clamshell that opens up and then the middle of the screen flips into it which is a touch screen touch the Xbox button on the top of the clamshell and it opens up.....

To be honest, with cross-gen and 3 ( soon to be 4) current console specs both Microsoft and Sony could have already released a PS4 Pro-level handle if they wanted to. The tech is already there and now would have been the time. I think neither company wants to muddy the market's waters right now with another platform with slow launches and lengthy production times that they already face. Now I think they will wait until the end of the current console cycle to think about a true handheld console again.
All they would have to do is just upgrade the VITA. It looks about the same as the Steam Deck.

A recommendation for you. Buy a steamdeck dockstation and play all your pc hands on TV. I love me steamdeck. Ever since I got it I buy games only on stream. And just a few on switch and ps5.
Good luck getting the platinum in Rebirth. I'm going for it too and some of the minigame completion requirements for certain collectibles are wild.

For Fort Condor hard mode stage 4, I did that. I followed a video but their ATB was filling faster and I couldn't figure out why. I was a fraction of a second off due to this and it was just off enough to fail. So finally I just went nuts, didn't follow anything and just randomly threw stuff out and won...
ATB fills up quicker if you put the game on easy mode when playing hard mode on Fort Condor. That's definitely what they did. Also works with Gears and Gambits minigame
resolution for that hurts going to be 2K in handheld mode

I'm watching this on ps5 I like yt on ps5 when I'm gaming to be able to load up youtube instantly for a break is good but the app has been crap for maybe a year or so just on ps5 when searching I find the app can't keep up with speed and it'll type the letter that I moved onto from the one I pressed x on

I’ve been absolutely loving Rise of the Ronin! The graphics are fine to me, that kinda shit don’t make me no never mind! Especially since I’m enjoying the hell out of pretty much every aspect of it, something about it just has me addicted to it. Also, I don’t need perfect graphics or locked 60 fps, or any of that shit, my first console was the Entelevision back in the 80’s and still jump on my PS3 sometimes, so I’m still blown away by how far gaming has come, never thought I’d see anything as amazing as games look now!!!
Gotta say anyone saying that they enjoy watching body dismemberment and miss it needs to have a mental health screening by a doctor ASAP. There’s no circumstance where someone having those thoughts can be said to be ok and even more so if the person is so normalized to these thoughts that they are expressing them publicly, that’s not normal. Only other app which like RUclips out there is it predecessor known as Dailymotion however if such thing happens keep in mind it not end of world 90 percent of 4k and 8k TV’s still offer RUclips.

Yay this side quest shizzle and level up systems is bad implanted now and then.
When played oddysys whas horrible to see level 30 enemy's early in game while do having quest there

Now using Wemod in horizon,
Half hour in horizon and I maxed out my combat skills and setting it to inore crafting materials needed.
Would be nice to have that at game to have just have that standard in options

queens blood is really the only mini game I actually liked. The others are either boring or just irritating as hell. If fort condor worked like queensblood and you collected different pieces like you could in the last game then yea it would be perfectly fine, but in this version you're stuck using shit pieces that you basically have to look up how to actually beat it. I had to look up how to beat the last two conder missions in rebirth. same with the other minigame in cosmo canyon first two were pretty fun then there's a massive difficulty spike that just makes it annoying as fuck.

So are you saying that Rise of the Ronin is not as good as Ghost of Tsushima? Which I must say, I loved Ghost... Is it just me or does it feel like PlayStation is just riding it's earlier popularity? And not really doing much in 2024...
It's different for sure. If you want more to do in the world and more of a souls game I would say it's more fun than Ghost. Ghost is much more cinematic.
People are making the wrong comparisons. If you enjoyed Nioh and Wo Long, Rise of the Ronin is pretty much both combat systems from those games combined. The only similarity with Ghost of Tsushima is that it’s set in Japan I guess.
I've only played the demo's for Nioh wo long, but I wasn't really into them but I like ds, bloodborne and e.r. I did love ghost of Tsushima. it was my game of the year...@@TakiGamesOfficial

Fallout 76 is included on PS+ Extra, I tried it for about an hour then deleted it. Fallout 76 is a poorly adapted version of fallout 4 with online multiplayer thrown in. There are some way better Bethesda games out there that you could play instead.
