    I will show you how to fix a grease gun that is not pumping grease. Your gun may be air locked meaning there is a pocket of air in the chamber. This is a very simple fix

    Its so agravating doing this. The two turns out rarely works, the bleeder valve never works. Taking the bleeder valve off like you did works sometimes but it will rocket shitloads of grease out if you are not careful

      @@BillOfAllTrades2016 Yes, I did figure it out, the solution was taking the bleeder valve all the way off (while holding back on the plunger to keep too much grease from coming out) and also removing the hose, I believe the hose had air pressure built up in it.

    So my plunger lever is extremely hard to pull back and when I do a bunch of grease comes out where the plunger goes in and the lock hole too..what's up with that ?

    • @BillOfAllTrades2016
      @BillOfAllTrades2016  7 месяцев назад +1

      That’s because your plunger has grease behind it. This can happen if the gun was operated with a clog and the pressure pushes the grease passed the plunger. It can also happen if you pushed too hard on the plunger to push the grease up during priming. Keep pulling til it’s at full extension to pull all grease out. Then reload the cartridge and prime the gun again. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe

      @@BillOfAllTrades2016 yup..thanks for helping, I think the grease gun got to warm over the summer (and it was lying on its side) which likely softened the grease allowing the plunger to pass through from the force of the spring and a crappy plunger.

    What if my plunger isn't pushing grease to the top it feels like it moves freely within the cylinder there's no pressure when trying to depress it back in

    • @BillOfAllTrades2016
      @BillOfAllTrades2016  Год назад +2

      That means that your plunger handle is not locking. If you spin the handle until you feel it lock then push and the grease should push up. You won’t feel a click or anything. I just push the rod in and spin til I feel it stop and that’s where the lock is. Thanks for watching. Hope this helps. Please like and subscribe

    What do you do if all of the grease comes out the air hole

    • @BillOfAllTrades2016
      @BillOfAllTrades2016  Год назад +1

      Is the grease coming out of the air hole when you are pumping it to use the grease? You may have a clog in the hose. Take the hose off and try dispensing. If it’s still clogged you will need to remove the cap and clean the inside of it. Plus if it comes out of the air hole then your cap isn’t tight enough. I’m guessing you just need a new hose or new coupler. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe

    • @BillOfAllTrades2016

      If you don’t have the air bleed plug then replace that step with twisting the body of the grease gun open 2 full turns and push the plunger in the same way. The air will escape that way. Hope this helps. Please like and subscribe
