- Won Best Restaurant of the Year in 2022! Let's Tour this Place!
If you are looking for what some say is the best restaurant in Los Angeles, then this is your food video! Rockstar Eater takes you on a tour of LA Times Restaurant of the Year in 2022, which is a Thai restaurant called Anajak Thai Cuisine. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant is tucked away in Sherman Oaks, and is one of the most chef-driven Thai restaurants you'll find in LA. It is Thai fine dining, which serves an a la carte menu as well as an omakase menu. There is even Thai taco Tuesday. You'll find many traditional Thai dishes like pad thai and papaya salad, and some inventive dishes like crudo and Thai fried chicken.
No restaurant tour in Los Angeles is complete without examining this critically-acclaimed Thai restaurant. If you are in the San Fernando Valley, here is a restaurant on Ventura Blvd worth checking out.

I'm sure it tastes good but $36 for a half chicken is just insane. And just generally speaking the portions are all very small for the prices charged.
Great job bro 👍🏼
Much appreciated
Ruen Pair is the authentic delicious Thai food and affordable somewhere in Hollywood.
Keep these restaurant-sponsored videos going! 😉
I want to compare that to the Thai temple in North Hollywood on the weekend
Crab fried rice kinda looks like a crab cake. Food looks amazing
Looks yummy!
Looks more of a Thai Fusion/Gourmet
Tiny Portions and Pricey. i'll probably have to eat 15-20 plates to get full
✌✌
Can’t wait to try!
Have fun!
do you ever not like something? lol
This was showcased along with 2 other Thai eateries not that long ago. The difference was this one was hyped via social media, no ?
Have you tried thai on ventura? thats the name
he really imitates ericsurf6
Yummy ❤❤
$18 veggies not at all reasonable. Are they being flown in from Thailand? Come on please find some realistic prices for us normies 😂❤
every resturant in california no longer offers reasonable prices anymore. everything and everywhere you eat these days are just overpriced. they use inflation as excuse to raise prices significantly and at the same time loacking up their bank accounts.
I worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years (Pub food to Michelin Star) and I was never so insulted by a restaurant in my life. Thai food in general is financially always reasonable but this place was a rip off. They try and create the "street food" experience. You sit in the alley way on plastic chairs, paper napkins and small portions.....but when the bill comes you are paying for the fine dining room, cloth napkins and full plate experience. Before you sit down they try and hit you for your bottle of wine purchase. Then a woman (perhaps an auntie or mom) comes over to sell you a t-shirt. The whole experience was insulting. L.A. has a thriving Thai community (including a Thai Town area) and anyone who supports this stupidity is wasting their money. Go to Chao Krung or any number of other Thai restaurants in the L.A. area and get a true Thai experience .....NOT the Tik Toc social media fermented one!
This definitely not authentic Thai food. Thai fusion more like it. way.... over price.
Nothing Thai about this restaurant. Bougie joint serving fusion Thai dishes to appease the upper middle class that have no idea what Thai food is. If you want real Thai food, check out the mom & pops Thai restaurants.
