- Check out this brand new gameplay preview from the upcoming The First Descendant running in Unreal Engine 5. We played this full exclusive final technical test preview with RTX 4090 in a 4K monitor (no commentary). Please note that this is not the final version of the game and is currently under development. This game is a futuristic sci-fi open world third person looter shooter with online and coop mission up to 4 players similar to Destiny and Helldivers 2.
The First Descendant is a third-person cooperative action RPG shooter in which you can play as Descendants who inherited the unknown powers and make them stronger to fight against the invaders and protect humans.

I just finished the Technical Testing of The First Descendant; it was a good run. I have the same specs as you guys, and it was a smooth ride , but the options for stealth and crouch for the MC were not present and they were the two things I requested in my review. And the game does have FULL Xbox controller sync as well; so Steam needs to update their observation to that fact.
Note: The Combat mechanics and the graphics are excellent and the storyline is fairly good.
UI designers need to step up. The graphics these days look amazing and the UI looks outdated, outplaced and not clean at all.

Looks like they copied ANTHEM's UI. It's disgusting. Such a shame for such a beautiful UE 5.4 game.
Love that unreal 5 scales so well, makes a huge difference for those of us who cant afford a 4080/4090.

When it offscreen game uses lowres textures but as soon as it in focus it loads HD textures, just bad implementation.

It's generic story but game is great. Stay away from MMO's in general if you dont like generic stuff and grind
I'd rather go play this game to unlock more sexy costumes for good looking characters rather then something like Marvel Avengers with it's very mediocre approach to that subject. I also hope the gameplay will be not same boring.
