@@noraleestone2859 you don't need to go that far... in many countries people eat innards, I at least know how (cooked) bonemarrow tastes - it's delicious on warm bread, although we stopped using it when the mad cow disease came up. My dad really loved kidney stew or sour lung (of course not human). In many European countries those are still standard foods...

@@UnstealableJewel shaved ice is just.. ice? Actually, depends on what flavour you put into that ice. If it's frozen milk then it'll taste like milk but most of the time, it's just tastes like water since it comes from regular ice (?).
The fact that one of the foods was called a Snacky Pack brings me so much joy.

The fish cake wrapped with leaf reminds me of my typical favorite food from Puerto Rico that is called “Pasteles" which the "cake" is made of veggies and the filling is pork stew or chicken stew. It has a strong condiments flavor and it taste good also. This typical food is common because it always are made on Christmas holidays :).

I once accidentally ate the paper at the bottom of the buns because I was hungry 🤦♀️, at first I thought it was just a weird texture in the bun but when I saw my sister peeling the paper at the bottom I knew..........I made a big mistake.......

I live in the USA, and if there's one thing we should adopt from countries in Asia, is the packaging and convenience of said packaging. It's SO freaking cute. It would make we want to buy everything.
It's more convenient but it also means more waste. We should try and produce less trash, not more.
I watch them for when I want to go to sleep or when I’m interested in watching them. So relaxing 😌

I just put my can of lychees in the fridge but I like your idea better! Also for pork buns I sprinkle a little water over them and cover with a wet paper towel :)

I bought the same Pork bun brand before but instead of heating it thru oven, I steamed it. It never deflated.

In Adana, Turkey, we use that shaves ice to make bici bici, a local dessert made with starchy pudding cubes, shaved ice, powder sugar and rose water. It's light, fat free and very refreshing, perfect for Adana's very hot summer.

You can steam or fry with egg wash/some seasoned flour it will be crunch outside and moist juicy inside
