frankly, you can find freshly cooked noodle/rice meal for $1 in Malaysia still. Although is increasingly a rarity these days due to all the crap that happens in the world today. $2 is the norm now. Still will prefer those than these frozen / instant stuff tbh, really only eat these when lazy to go out... From taste to visual presentation, frozen/instant stuff here are still billion miles behind other oversea countries. They are made cheaply.

Good video as always. Very entertaining. I always find the small foldable spoons such a waste of plastic.

maybe you shouldn't add much water for porridge, bc it makes your porridge like soup. I try to not add much water or followed the water line to get the texture of porridge. that's help me if I ate instant porridge.

I belive the rice balls are meant to imitate the rice dish arrinchini a ball of rice often stuffed with cheese and tomato sauce and coated with season bread cumbs and deep fried

The salmon steak is a lot like the salmon fillets we have here for a dollar and 25 cents. It used to be just a dollar but they changed the price a little. It's good quality though
