That last product was very strange. So much went into the packaging. From turning another products box inside out, then wrapping it. To only have 3 individual packaged cakes that were cute but tasted like crap. Weird for sure.
Like the ones with the heating pack? If you have access to any Asian grocery store you should take a look there! I'm in canada, but in the past few years, a lot of chain stores like hmart have started selling them
I tried durian pudding, and I know now I can't handle it. Tastes and smells like mothballs.... but I have tried many of the other items this channel has showed in the past and was very surprised at how good they were! Thanks DB for opening my mind to such interesting foods.

You've got to give the company that makes the durian cakes credit. They probably bought overrun pre-printed boxes then assembled them inside-out and put a paper wrap on it. The printing of paper wrap is cheap (they may even do it in house) in comparison to custom printed cardboard boxes.
The expiry date on the Durian cake was Sept. 4, 2022, so it was theoretically still good. Who knows why it didn't taste good, though. 🤔 Everything else looked delicious. 😁
Love your content so much! If I may, can I request for some videos on vegan snacks/restaurants available in Singapore? I'm planning for a trip, and your videos help us learn a lot about the local food options! Thank you ❤️❤️
You might want to be careful what you wish for when it comes to durian. At an office where I used to work someone brought in some. durian cookies from a trip, and a few minutes after they were opened someone had to send out an email stating "no, there is not a gas leak in the building."
@@y-mefarm4249 In my area, we don’t have any Thai shops within a few miles, me, being 14 and unable to drive there, and not having a bike, is a problem in itself, so, sorry I don’t know where to look, haha.

I (from Germany) am still searching for sweets with enough durian in it to get to know the taste of it without buying a whole fruit. Not living in or near a city where I can get one anyway, but I am so curious about it. :D
Having tried durian; I'm assuming it must be an acquired taste like learning to like Tab soda back in the 70's? I got some Durian filled mochi from our local global market; and they were so nasty. It actually made my mouth kinda numb; and made me consider that the 70's Tab soda might have tasted better. :p
yep i agree with u on it being an acquired taste. im malaysian and malaysia is the world's 2nd largest durian exporter (thailand is the first). everyone in my family absolutely love durians but i hate them. i dislike the smell but i have ate them before and hated the texture. its a marvel to see how millions of people enjoy it so much.
Maybe the durian filling is not a real durian so that's why it taste nasty. I'm not a big fan of durian but i can tolerate the taste because it's tasty (i just dont like the lingering smells after i ate it). And i can say durian essence taste really different from the real one. So maybe the one u've tried are the fake one or we can say, artificial(?) :D
Hello from the states! ♥️ My daughter and I are fans of your channel. I love seeing all the different foods you can't get where I live, and I want to travel to Singapore one day!
Please try Vietnamese food, I’ve been watching your channel for months and enjoying all. I hope you make a video about Vietnamese, I wonder how exported products made. Thank u so much.
I come to love kimchi. I watched many videos of koreans react and got curious. When a convenient store had canned kimchi, I buied it and it tasted delicious. I live in Germany in a small village and getting my hands in asian deli is not easy.
It's 1 am now, and i still don't understand why I am watching this channel who doesn't even speak any word continuously since half an hour 😂, that's the magic of dancing bacons
Thanks for sharing and thank you dancingbacons i tried the first thai food ever which is tom yum goong so rich and a lots of mushrooms in it so tasty. I heart you mwah!
their travelling the world eating all these amazing snacks from v diff places, im sitting on the couch eating a bag of half empty sour cream lays with a nestea ..
Dancing Bacons always shows different super markets sometimes Thai sometimes Indian sometimes Japanese and when his wife gets FaceTime I’m always stoked to realize the multicultural presence of this channel. When they get sushi from certain places I remind myself that this is what these people do explore restaurants and express their own opinions on food.
Dancingbacons is a she, but yes I agree! I love this channel solely because I love food from around the world, and it's relaxing to watch when you get sick
The porridge brand is like the Thai variety of the German "Knorr" brand. Same logo. Similar to how a lof of favorite asian noodles are "Maggi" brand, also from Germany.
Just a little tip when heating up food that will splatter, or dry out, wet a paper towel, ring it out and cover the food will not splatter, or will help food stay moist
Man...this series never make me bored 👌
Me too
I love the signature slap of the heat pouch for every hot box meal :)
lmao samE
I love watching these during nighttime so relaxing
The instant porridge looks really comforting and convenient, especially for when you're sick. The durian cakes could also pass as taco themed
Yes, In fact Thai people love eating this when sick because it's easier to digest.
That last product was very strange. So much went into the packaging. From turning another products box inside out, then wrapping it. To only have 3 individual packaged cakes that were cute but tasted like crap. Weird for sure.
That durian cake looks like the sponge I use when I wash dishes!
Literally what i had in mind. It looked like a decorative cleaning sponge, or bath sponge for children.
LMAO
Thank you for liking that 🙂
Since we get a repurposed box, we might as well check that one out too 😂 love your channel, thanks for the content
Man that heat pack is pretty powerful...I don't think I've ever seen water boil that fast. Good video!
Do you know what it's made out of?
no@@weekdaycycling
Im more impressed by the calm, relaxing, sothing and peaceful environment this balcony has.
That Durian Soft Cake in recycled box was hilarious!
The kimchi fried rice and the sticky rice with durian looked so good!!
that's it. we should start a petition to make hot box meals available in the U.S.. we are missing out on great stuff here.
We have enough garbage food.
Like the ones with the heating pack? If you have access to any Asian grocery store you should take a look there! I'm in canada, but in the past few years, a lot of chain stores like hmart have started selling them
The hot box meals are really bad for the environment. Too much waste and plastic.

The prawn and crabstick porridge is the best. I always eat this when I'm sick
I can actually buy that Tom Kha in my local grocery store. It's been tempting me for a while and now I'm definitely going to have to try it.
When I saw the cover for the Hotbox, I was confused, but then I got the joke when I saw the character

Omg! I've had that bubble tea kit before! I really liked the tea base a lot.
Yea the tea base is amazing perfect ratios of tea to milk although the bubbles are just jelly.
These videos are my favorite! I love seeing food from different places

The food in Thailand and other areas outside of the USA seems like they have really good food! I wish we had that stuff here in the US.

This channel is always worth watching. Dancing bacon 🥓 is always honest!
Maybe next time you prepare the packaged Thai Creamy Coconut soup, instead of water to mix, try coconut milk. Makes it even more creamy and tasty!!
Aside from the Durian cakes everything looked great. Thanks, DancingBacons.
