I really like the mini omelet cooker, & the whisk/scoop thingy too. :) The fried egg cooker needs a little oil or butter so the egg will slide out better.
I freakin love Daiso. Every item there makes you want to have one. Whenever I'm at a Daiso Japan I would see some things that I really don't need that much but I would still buy them. It's a store that the items tempts you every time you look at them. You can buy those items elsewhere and they might be much better but you would always end up ignoring them, but In Daiso, you would end up buying them. It's not just me, my friends and most people I know are like me, and lot of them are rich enough to buy better items, yet they would still buy them at Daiso.
I always just wrapped my bao in a wet/damp paper tower and then microwaved it and it always comes out perfectly steamed. Of course nothing beats a bamboo steamer but when you’re lazy and only making a single bao- a damp paper towel and microwave is all you need.
Same here, in the US. I remember here was this popup booth thing that sold knives, and when you bought the knife, you would get the spiral cutter and a little spout for juicing lemons.

SIde Note: When filling up a container to make a popsicle NEVER FILL THE CONTAINER UP ALL THE WAY. LIQUID EXPANDS AS IT FREEZES. When liquid water is cooled, it contracts like one would expect until a temperature of approximately 4 degrees Celsius is reached. After that, it expands slightly until it reaches the freezing point, and then when it freezes it expands by approximately 9%. This is why your container leaked out.
Not sure if anyone ever mentioned this but it's a bad idea to freeze things with gas in it because the cold makes the gas expand. In a can it can make the can itself brust. (lol at all the cans 😂) That's why the leak happened, it also made the ice cream more fragile and caused the finger to break and also why the fizz doesn't translate at all to the pop.
I know this is an old comment but that's not why the leak happened at all. Sure the gas is at fault for making the bubbles and reducing the structural integrity but gases actually reduce volume when getting colder, it's the water that increases volume when going from liquid to frozen state (this is something unique to water). It would have overflowed even with it being pure water when you fill it to the rim like Bacon did.
Some interesting gadgets! btw fizzy drinks are generally not good for home made popsicles. I think due to the gas. That bun looked incredible, Singapore and Asia generally have such amazing food.
You can eat eggs like that in Singapore and many other countries! No fears of salmonella cause their poultry industry doesn't do shonky things to eggs!
Just so everyone knows why the soda spilled in the freezer, it’s because liquids expand when freezing, adding to it that the soda was carbonated and there wasnt space in the mickey glove popsicle stick, it created pressure and ‘pop’ the soda leaked out. Also, the reason why the egg exploded was because bacons forgot to add extra water or liquid to the egg so the proteins got dry and sucked out the moisture in the tiny pockets and the outer film of the egg created a similar pressure to the popsicle but reverse, there wasn’t any holes for the steam to leave nor extra moisture to keep the outer layer soft so the steam could break through and release. :D I’m probably explaining it weirdly but i tried lol
That microwave rice cooker thingy seems pretty much useless though. A regular rice cooker will do the job more conveniently and you also get to eat steaming hot rice as opposed to poorly cooked lukewarm rice.

Daiso, the _true_ Wonderlando of Japan. It beats the pants off most any USA dollar store, for sure. As always, great video, DB. Love seeing all these cool things you choose to share with us! The scrambled egg/omelette looked delicious, but I'd have to add some cooking time to the poached eggs to firm them up. I love a runny yolk, but not runny egg whites.
