Yo Dave, for the Match you're not meant to leave the whisk the way it is, you're meant to dip it in Hot water for 2 minutes or so, so that the center opens up/ loosen the prongs. makes it easier to mix. hope this helps :)

Hi Dave, that meatball making tongs are suposed to be pressed down on the meat not scoop it up. Notice there's a tiny hole, that's where the meat is supposed to fill the scoop from. You just open it up when full, either straight on the pot or on a dish if you want to make them all beforehand (for freezing or later cooking). Cheers!
British food is hit or miss but they dont mess around with breakfast. Guess its necessary to have a real nice start to the day when the weather is so often overcast.
Well the general opinion of British food is, if you need tons of seasonings to make your food taste good, you're just a bad cook. If there are seasonings in British food, it's always a light amount of them, and even then you're mostly fine with salt, vinegar and pepper.
Hi Dave, I always cook the meatballs in boiling water before I bake them in a pan, so they are never red inside anymore!! Cause my husband & son hated that red inside, they wanted it otherwise. Hello, Culinary Student here! just wanted to help With the Pasta making! Roll the dough out into a somewhat thick slab, make sure it fits evenly in the device and doesnt come to close to the edges, or your pasta will tear (through the entire process make sure it stays in the middle or it will tear at the edges) Put it through once, Trifold it, Roll it out with the rolling pin, SLOWLY adjust the dial lower, one number at a time, pass the pasta through, Trifold it, Roll it out (it'll start to get tougher, which si good, we want the pasta to hold its shape and be strong), and continue that process until you are able to cut three even sections, Sprinkle with flour on BOTH sides to prevent sticking. Select the desired shape/type of pasta and put it through
hi davehax! you probably wont see this, but thank you! I have a traditon that is from Dec 1 to Jan 1 to 5 where I watch your videos. I came back and the nostalgia hits hard. Thanks!
Pretty cool, Dave, I loved the churro-maker, but I totally agree with you on the «awkward to clean» opinion, when I saw you filling and squeezing the mixture all the way down the first thing I thought was how difficult and laborious would be to extract all that mix from the bottom and the sides 😅 PD: clever decision to not try cooking paella, you saved yourself a lot of headaches, you know. Greetings from Spain, I love your channel ♥️♥️

I’m not sure about the others, but the dumpling maker defiantly did well. Maybe a bit less dough next time, but the final product looks really good! I’d rather use a metal one though. More stability
Hey dave, I Have been watching your videos for 7 years and it always pleased me, I would like to request you to make beef sausages with that grinder you got!
4:15 i hope you know we dont use traditional bread dough, im just bringing this to mind because we use rice starch flour, and it can be thinner, just wet the edges for a better seal
That dumpling maker looks genius! I do try not to get sucked into kitchen gadgets (you're right about the meatball maker - wet hands are just as good), but I might just get that one.
Australia has such simple dishes, that no device would make it even simpler. I mean, fairy bread is literally just buttered bread with sprinkles. Vegemite toast, sausages? All really simple. The hardest dish would have to be dampa, and going off memory as like an 8 year old on a school camping trip one day, it was pretty easy. So if anyone can find a decide that makes any Australian dish simpler, I’ll give a whole Australian dollar.
