I don't hate the figure, I just don't know why they decided to release it right as Kingdom was ending. I really feel like they should've swapped out, let's say Scorpinok for Terrosaur or maybe Inferno
Most of the beast wars transformations are physically impossible, Terrorsaur's being the most notorious. But this one's a big upgrade from his predecessors, and that face is on point.
I'd love to buy this figure, but I'm not sure if spending over a hundred Canadian dollars for a deluxe figure would ever be worth it. Thank you scalpers.
Wait, did they not make a Tarantulas figure for Kingdom? I was thinking most of the original BW toys are still great with a few that needed some more accurate representation, like Blackarachnia and Terrorsaur. And hey there they are!
The Very Reliable Leakers for the TFW2005 forums have long assured that a new Tarantulas (deluxe) and Inferno (voyager) are coming in Legacy. Reportedly the BW figures were going to be a limited 10th anniversary line that was folded into the third year of WFC, which subsequently displaced some figures into the SS series line which turned into SS86. As for why, and I am purely speculating here, I'm not sure Hasbro had full faith in the beast toys to sell. That's why we're seeing so few in Legacy as the toys have a two year development cycle. I suspect we'll get more in 2023.

No absolute clunkers, closest to excellent probably being Dinobot (dog dick sword notwithstanding) and everything generally falling just short of being definitive for one reason or another (blackarachnia and waspinators animal legs, megatrons plastic just feels weird, cheetor is too small for what it's trying to do, etc)
The head sculpt really is amazing, isn't it? That, plus more new parts than I was expecting really makes him stand out from Airazor. I may have given the golden disk to Dinobot instead of Megatron though
