Krieg isn't as bad at raiding as people think imo. Granted I don't do OP10, but I genuinely don't struggle with most raid bosses, even without bloodsploshion cheese for a lot of them. Between bloodbath and fuel the blood you can demolish most raid bosses building up momentum with just the enemies in the arena alone.
The carnage had to have been designed with krieg in mind. It just synergizes with his skills way too well. I should also test the storm with fuel the blood because I actually think it has some potential. Great video as always 🫡
The carnage is literally the perfect krieg weapon in every way including instakilling yourself with it if you aren’t careful which fits kriegs whole bit 👌
Hence why hes THE best Vault Hunter to ever grace the Borderlands! Theres simply so much you can do with him and the built-in gameplay loop of his skills makes it all the more fun!

@@mrtx01 i was thinking, the only real issue i have with the Krieg we have is how he overly relies on his Kill Skills for Damage and how some Bosses are design to essentially give you nothing else to kill, which in my humble opinion is more of a Boss design flaw rather than a Krieg problem but hey, had they given him something that doesnt require a kill such as Money Shot, we wouldve been fine against even the worst fights!

Very true! The sawbar and butcher are probably my favorite pearls on her. Love using them with 11/5 Chain Reaction and just phaselock the tankiest enemy to watch all the other enemies die

Storm testing I’m quite intrigued by and would like to see. Wanderlust was news to me, carnage was an obvious powerhouse. Butcher is considered genuinely good. Fine, I'll start a Krieg playthrough for the third time in a row 😅! Honestly, Bloodbath and Bloodsplosion is what makes Krieg my favourite Vault Hunter! Also, I love using the Badaboom with Krieg!
I love using Hide of terramorphous on Krieg instead of specing into silence the voices. The damage is comparable to 10 in stv but without the self damaging and vision blurring effect. And you can freely swap between throwing and slashing in BAR without fear of downing yourself with kill skill damage boosts.
Kind of wish that Pearls got more attention than they did, they do have some of the most unique mechanics in the game (the Storm is my favourite weapon across the series) and mostly their faults really do boil down to numbers. The only reason I enjoy playing Salvador is that I get to make some of the more unique but undertuned guns in the game work. Krieg falls into the same category, though I play him even less. Honestly if I had to try and pick out a worst weapon in the game, it'd be the Landscaper. Some of the Vault hunters can make certain weapons work, like you demonstrated. Like, I'd argue the Bearcat and Wanderlust are really, really bad, but as you pointed out, they're still usable. But the Landscaper feels like it's fighting against the design of the game itself. There's just very few enemies that approach you slowly or move in very predictable, repetitive patterns, which is where the Landscaper would actually have some kind of use given it's special mechanic. The only way I've been able to make any use of it whatsoever is by building up a large amount of stickies and then using a Quasar to pull enemies into them, and the damage a full magazine did was... really, really underwhelming. With all my creativity I can't really find an excuse to use it.
@@OisirM yeah the landscaper sucks pretty darn bad, even in normal mode it’s pretty trash. Barely does any damage and it’s just impractical. Against small enemies the 4 grenades usually will actually just surround the enemy without going off 💀 I agree with that assessment of pearls though. The storm, unforgiven, bearcat, tunguska, and wanderlust all are bad primarily due to just the damage. Increase the damage and you’ve got some potentially really good weapons!
I might be wrong, but for hyperion shotguns, the best stock is actually torgue, not hyperion because hyperion shotguns do negative recoil, so you want more, not less. Could be wrong it has been a while
I’ve heard about that but wasn’t sure what all Hyperion interactions there are. I’ve heard that bandit grip is the god roll on the Lady Fist for the same reason but idk

Hyperion gives you more max accuracy, increased recoil just gets you to max accuracy faster, but the difference is like 2 or 3 shots at most anyway. Considering weapons with big mags(any gun krieg uses, but especially the butcher), I'd rather hit more pellets from further. It gets even worse if you consider that with quick reloads you can maintain accuracy pretty well over reloads
He's pretty good with the Omen but I think Axton is possibly better with it. Krieg still does very well though as that 100% grenade damage makes proccing BB fairly consistent plus he can make the firerate crazy on it. I'd say it's right up there with the Blockhead (which means it's very very good)

I've done melee hybrid krieg and, while I haven't tried in OP10, the storm is kinda usable up to OP6ish? You can make it work but there's no real point in doing so unless your goal is maximizing visual pollution with the Electric Chair, FotF, RR and Bloodsplosion
There is just no defense for the Wanderlust, it is still the worst option. All this does is make E-techs look more useful, but Krieg was already good with them. The Wanderlust is like choosing a blue (the devs intended for it to be a unique but put cyan, the wrong shade of blue, that is my joke theory) over a purple. Why do I say that? A common E-tech Maliwan dart has better base damage (A little over one third) and your bullets go a bit more where you point them. Even better still E-techs are not locked to being just Maliwan, which is one of the weaker options due to consuming 3 ammo per shot and Bandit still sucks: - Hyperion has highest damage to ammo ratio (still better DPS than a Maliwan) - Vladof has similar damage, but much better fire rate and if you are using a Dart accuracy is less of an issue. - Dahl has lower damage, but highest fire rate and other stats are decent In all cases you can get higher damage per shot by using a Jakobs grip as reload speed on pistols is pretty fast already, so it's not much of a DPS loss and means better ammo efficiency. Vladof grip is an option if you would prefer the increased fire rate but can cause ammo issues much sooner. You can read-only farm E-tech pistols from Medical Mystery, so they are way more accessible than the Wanderlust in addition to just being objectively better.
As a Gaige main I can't help but think that anarchy would have been so much fun if it worked similarly to Bloodlust. Something that you have to build decaying stacks for, rather than just building and sitting as high as you can go all of the time. And maybe that would have convinced the devs to not be scared and give her good skills not related to Anarchy 😅
The fact that anarchy is so powerful that they couldn't make anything else good is probably my biggest problem with her. Would love to see what they'd do to gaige if they ever remastered this game!

you should do a video on how to kill all raid bosses legit and with glitches (if they have a glitch kill) on kriege I am almost certain its never been done cause I'm trying to find out the best strats to kill them and can only find some stuff. love tje content btw i watch all the vids
Honestly whichever you find more fun will work just fine, however melee will always be able to do damage without needing a ton of items. Just an occasional shield upgrade and a decent classmod will be able to take you to max level and through most of the game aside from a few specific bosses

My hope is that they don't mess it up like the past 4 things they've done 😭 Seriously, the Pre-Sequel, BL3, and Wonderlands all needed major updates after release for them to fix the issues with the game. I just hope it's fun though at the end of the day, and more difficult than 3 was. Oh and hopefully also some fun playable characters

That's like saying that gaige doesn't have synergy with the wanderlust or the hot mama because she just increases it's damage... but that's the point and they work directly with her kit. Also as stated he has very good synergy outside of the damage due to the way the guns interact with his other skills. The carnage, wanderlust, and bearcat are all unique in that they will proc BB 100% of the time which applies to very few other weapons in the game. The carnage also get's directly buffed by his explosive skills and also his crunch class mods. The wanderlust does extremely well with proccing elemental elation and healing with elemental empathy, this also applies to the butcher except krieg is capable of making the butchers mag size (which is it's entire gimmick) significantly higher than default and make up for it's lack of base damage. I would say all of that is more than just "extra damage". Hope this helps!
imo the unforgiven is best on Zer0, but it's still not as good as the Maggie is on him. plugging my ears not listening to the bearcat propaganda happy for the wanderlust tho
Damn. All these years and I've never seen someone actually use a wanderlust and kill shit efficiently with it. The Carnage I always thought was good with Axton and Krieg. The bear cat was pretty impressive too.
I don't think I claimed that? People say pearls in general are bad ASIDE from the butcher, bekah, and occasionally the sawbar or carnage. But Krieg makes the Butcher way better than it is by default as he synergizes with it well
Yeah that's actually just borderline unusable. IF it didn't consume 4 ammo per shot it'd probably be pretty good because the damage is actually decent but you can only kill like 4 enemies before your ammo is gone 💀
I always spec into Flame Flare which helps drastically since you double the duration, also make sure you have Delusional Damage so even slagging enemies can put you on fire!
I feel so alone considering i am the only person alive that plays melee krieg and enjoys it 😭 i dont get silence the voices cus i kill myself more than the enemies do BUT the 1 kill skill in bloodsplosion tree that increases grenade dmg ALSO COUNTS FOR YOUR EXPLOSIVE BUZZAXE and also the explosion counts as melee and explosive, all you gotta do is release the beast and kill 1 guy, then your Thrown buzzaxes basically fkn 1 hit ppl (dont forget a gnarly roid shield)
I've actually played a lot more melee Krieg than gun Krieg and actually have 2 melee guides on my channel! I prefer melee Krieg but gun Krieg is very close behind

They trigger Blood Bath AND receive the 500% bonus damage. Blood Bath effects ALL guns regardless of damage type

I have still never seen a pearl. Been playing off and on since the handsome jack collection released on ps4
yeah they only spawn after level 51 and are VERY rare aside from a few certain farming spots

Why is the XP gain popping up after every kill? That's not supposed to happen at max level.

I'm actually working on getting Krieg to max level now. What would be better for leveling, a melee or hellborn/gun build?
Honestly whichever you find more fun will work just fine, however melee will always be able to do damage without needing a ton of items. Just an occasional shield upgrade and a decent classmod will be able to take you to max level and through most of the game aside from a few specific bosses

My hope is that they don't mess it up like the past 4 things they've done 😭 Seriously, the Pre-Sequel, BL3, and Wonderlands all needed major updates after release for them to fix the issues with the game. I just hope it's fun though at the end of the day, and more difficult than 3 was. Oh and hopefully also some fun playable characters

Krieg doing extra damage isn’t synergy with pearls, when that extra damage applies to superior weapons as well at the same rate. Hope this helps!
That's like saying that gaige doesn't have synergy with the wanderlust or the hot mama because she just increases it's damage... but that's the point and they work directly with her kit. Also as stated he has very good synergy outside of the damage due to the way the guns interact with his other skills. The carnage, wanderlust, and bearcat are all unique in that they will proc BB 100% of the time which applies to very few other weapons in the game. The carnage also get's directly buffed by his explosive skills and also his crunch class mods. The wanderlust does extremely well with proccing elemental elation and healing with elemental empathy, this also applies to the butcher except krieg is capable of making the butchers mag size (which is it's entire gimmick) significantly higher than default and make up for it's lack of base damage. I would say all of that is more than just "extra damage". Hope this helps!

Damn. All these years and I've never seen someone actually use a wanderlust and kill shit efficiently with it. The Carnage I always thought was good with Axton and Krieg. The bear cat was pretty impressive too.
The Bearcat and Wanderlust were definitely the 2 that surprised me the most! Krieg is just too good 💪
No one claims the Butcher is weak. That's just not true.
I don't think I claimed that? People say pearls in general are bad ASIDE from the butcher, bekah, and occasionally the sawbar or carnage. But Krieg makes the Butcher way better than it is by default as he synergizes with it well

Yeah that's actually just borderline unusable. IF it didn't consume 4 ammo per shot it'd probably be pretty good because the damage is actually decent but you can only kill like 4 enemies before your ammo is gone 💀

I feel like my krieg is bugged or something my hellfire build cant stay on fire for more than like 1 second
I always spec into Flame Flare which helps drastically since you double the duration, also make sure you have Delusional Damage so even slagging enemies can put you on fire!

I feel so alone considering i am the only person alive that plays melee krieg and enjoys it 😭 i dont get silence the voices cus i kill myself more than the enemies do BUT the 1 kill skill in bloodsplosion tree that increases grenade dmg ALSO COUNTS FOR YOUR EXPLOSIVE BUZZAXE and also the explosion counts as melee and explosive, all you gotta do is release the beast and kill 1 guy, then your Thrown buzzaxes basically fkn 1 hit ppl (dont forget a gnarly roid shield)
I've actually played a lot more melee Krieg than gun Krieg and actually have 2 melee guides on my channel! I prefer melee Krieg but gun Krieg is very close behind
