As a Moze main Vladof is my favourite weapon manufacturer. Bottomless Mags Moze running around going Brrrr and never reloading is so much fun, then add the mind sweeper you can delete anything on screen from existence in a bloody mess.
Trivia: The White Death was changed to Lyuda because I bet Gearbox found out the White Death (or the sniper who got that nickname) was a sniper who wacked +500 Soviets during a 6 month ongoing war between Finland and Soviet Russia. Lyudmilla Pavlichenko did the same thing but for the Soviets whopping +300 Germans in WW II. Which would better suit the Russian Vladof theme which also revolves around all those weapons using Nadsat. Which was some language spoken in A Clockwork Orange. Where "Razrez" refers to sharp or cutting and "zammechat" to amazing. )
Rockets, bullets, fists and frags Vladof's army's got the mags If you miss in Ursa Corps Just shoot and shoot and shoot some more! I think my favourite Vladof gun is Septimus Prime. Not because it's stronger than the others, but because it's fun to shoot. The hefty sound, making it sound like a proper machine gun, as well as the occasional "orbital strike" is just entertainment all round.
The Backburner also hilariously does friendly fire...which can be put to good use. Have someone play Zane and give the clone a Backburner, and so long as everyone's wearing a Transformer you can just chill in the lightning and be immortal.
Fun fact: The gun at number 9 is an obvious reference to the one and only Bert Kreischer and his infamous “The Machine” story of is. I did some digging and the first time he told the story it was in 2014 coincidentally the same year the Pre-sequel game came out
I like what they did in 3 with the firing attachments. Maybe the explosive ones most like zip rockets and grenade launcher but they are all pretty fun to play around. Alien barrel ones too
Not a launcher fan so for me Light Show, Lucian's Call and Boom Sickle are my favorites. One of my favorite ways of going to m11 once I hit max level is to farm Dinklebot and hope for both a Butcher and a Lucian's Call, makes farming other weapons much easier.
Vladof is honestly one of my favorite manufacturers tbh, it's always fun to just hold down a trigger and watch as whatever stands in front of you turn to a fine red mist. Also man I wish The Machine was in bl3, sure it would be busted but that's not really hard to do in bl3. Only downside of these guns is the ammo...
Pretty accurate list indeed! Although I'd bring boomsickle closer to the top due to its continuous (splash) DPS potential and common ammo resources. Boogeyman & Boomsickle & Backburner & Monarch for a perfect 4-weapons roster!
I love the Rocket Pod on Moze, just constant mortar strikes and crazy splash damage with Torgue Cross Promotion. Also like the Jericho because it let me troll my friends because it seems to cause friendly fire for some reason
So I got pretty mad when I saw the light show wasn’t number 1. I was racking my brain trying to figure out what other gun would be better. For some reason I completely forgot the back burner was vladof.
with the Lyuda I think the one in 2 is strong, since you can just pick it up and wreck with it. In 3 on its own is weaker, but with all the different tools you get access to in 3 its way stronger. Lower floor higher ceiling, in 3. Also as a Moze main I would've had Boogyman and Lightshow swapped, but still a great list!
Getting a Vermi to drop the Norfleet also requires you to get Vermi to spawn, which can be monotonous. Almost as bad as the twister farm with triple O.
I would put the Light Show ahead of all because realistically you don't need a specific shield to us it. Of course a Revolter is nice but the Light Show is amazing.
Monarch with Zane can actually be pretty freakin savage if you use it strictly for use with the digiclone with double barrel. This is especially useful in M11, where the double barrel digivlone puts out berserk damage.
Backburner is a surprise. I'd have put Kickcharger over it due to it being able to one shot bosses with very little setup. Backburner I just haven't seen do that ever. Mobbing, sure, bossing, nope. Great list though. Always like learning about some of the guns from the older games that I haven't played recently (aside from the hunt haha)
When I first played borderlands 3 back on ps4 I picked zaine as my first character. Mainly cause I wanted to hear what all an Irish character would say during the game
I have to say that the BL2 Lyuda was better for me. While great in both games, in BL2 it was a must have for the balance of how easy it was to get and how good it was. In BL3 the Lyuda, like many other great guns, was easy to pass up. Simply due to how easy it was to get most of the high end weapons.
to be honest, I've been watching ur vids for about 3 or 4 years, not sure. And I've seen lots of duplicated content but I still learn something new from them, its weird
I don't generally really use Vladof weapons. Especially in BL3, but there are some exceptions. For example I really love The Machine(it's really, really fun on Aurelia and on bosses) and the Hail(in this case mostly the BL3 version, because it doesn't doesn't shoot that high like in previous games)
I used to have a lot of fun with that shock Backburner and Transformer combo. I would walk right up to bosses like Eista or Captain Traunt and shoot at my feet. I couldn't see anything on the screen but massive explosion spam and the enemy's health bar being obliterated. It's a shame that BL1 Vladof was kinda meh. Pretty much everything that they did well in that game was done better by S&S and Atlas.
@@Ki11ersix Really surprised the Monarch is at the middle of the list. And your points are valid. Lately the Monarch has become a Fl4k only gun since the DLCs came out. Surprisingly i thought you'd put the Lightshow as Number 1. but yeah the Backburner is king of getting you out of FFYL. I'd swap rapier with a kickcharger anyday. rapier as a gun itself is impractical if it wasn't for that 200% melee attachment, which even is not useful to every other vault hunters in bl2, and not many players prefer melee zero for a long run because it gets boring eventually. other than that it's a solid list.
I'd disagree a bit on the Monarch with other characters. I use it on Zane (and moze/amara when I play them) for certain situations and it absolutely shreds--running around doesn't matter--corrosive vs. Wotan and Wendigo, fire vs. Psychoreaver, corrosive/fire vs. Hemo/Vermi or other small contained areas like the slaughter shaft. For general mobbing I use a soulrender or opq, but in those situations I mentioned it's great on all characters. In terms of my favorite, probably monarch or light show, though I also really liked the proletarian revolution in the pre sequel.
you gotta be careful with the transformer tip for moze- since she deals fire damage on her splash damage, she will actually down herself instead. this worked in non mayhem for me to instantl regen shield using the shock backburner and the Lob but as I got to Mayhem 10/11, they just down moze instead.
