Yo idk why zer0 says that "The Vault, my masterpiece?" Line of the haiku twice. Once before he kills Zeke... and after. So like... he already knew of the vault before the bartender told him ???
I’m 100% positive it was accidental. Since he mentions the vault before the bartender even mentions it to him, the must have put that line in instead of the actual line. I wonder what that line actually was
It's confirmed that Angel killed her mother, because in borderlands 3 there's a side quest that verifies this. Certain machines that angel touched stored memories from when she communicated with them, and in this side quest it's revealed that when a bandit tried to steal angel, she took control of a turret and killed the bandit kidnapping her, but accidentally killed her mother in the crossfire. And honestly bro, I feel for Jack. Not saying what he did to his daughter was right, but he watched his own daughter mow down his wife with a turret, and then his daughters last dying words were "You're an asshole". Marco Puga i imagine 2-3 months worth of script writing and editing if he has a job and life. I’m not sure about his situation, but you can definitely tell the quality is there
That little bit about Tina and her parents being experimented on is unimaginably dark... The mechanical sounds of the machines used to inject chemicals into humans... Her parents screaming... I'm not sleeping tonight.
Alienshade true you just get so caught up in the grind of the game you kinda tune alot of this out but im also really high when i play so that could be a factor as well
Mikey Neumann (of the FilmJoy YT channel) should get more credit for creating this universe and writing all this story, dialog and characters. It's amazing that essentially one guy did it all as gearbox was pretty small at the time.
I just gotta say, I can identify with Brick and Mordecai on a fundamental level. I'd be devastated if I lost my cat(s) to intentional violence and cruelty, and I would definitely be on the war-path to exact bloody vengeance on the ones responsible. Brick's lost multiple puppies to cruelty and violence, and Mordecai lost Bloodwing to Jack's sadistic and vindictive evils. I can be happy that in killing Nisha and Jack, I helped them achieve some level of vengeance for their fallen pets/animal comrades.
What infuriates me most about Aurelia from BL3 is the fact that they have erased her conscious. She is a vile human creature with barely any positive trait - but even *she* thought that Jack's killing sprees went too far and is vocal about her disdain about it. And in BL3 she is just a Psycho in a wig.
lol yeah it was said in bl3 how she is the opposite of her brother. who is super nice and helpfull. she just wants to hunt and kill for fun. instead of the sport.
@@miciso666 they did my girl dirty I am not convinced that we killed the OG Aurelia in BL3 but a body double that said "fuck it" and went along with the twins. (Corrected the family name)
Slight correction. Sanctuary was a DAHL Mining Ship, so Scooter actually just repaired its aged and broken engines. I believe the city was built on top of it for the Miners after it landed.
Also something of note: Sanctuary was situated directly above the Caustic Caverns, where existed a massive abandoned mine previously owned and operated by DAHL. The caverns also have many valuable resources and valuable/dangerous monsters like the crystalisks
19:35 for anyone wondering It’s revealed in Borderlands 3 that Angel did in fact kill her mother with her siren powers. A bandit kidnaps her and she possess a nearby turret which guns down the bandit and accidentally her mother as well

Hats off, thank you and take my sub! I was planning on replaying the Borderlands franchise before BL3 releases, but I could never find the time to get fully immersed in the story and play through it and by now its getting to late for that. This was some 105 minutes well spent and I salute you for that. Quality content, calming and informative and not filled with utterly annoying and meaningless dialogue. One thing that was odd to me though is how you talked about certain events with the cutscene playing the background, then played the cutscene... Minor thing and by far does not pull away from the overall quality and experience though.
Did anyone else notice that Lilith had the perfect line of sight and undivided attention to watch Jack decloak behind Roland and shoot him through the heart? She would have reacted.
I want to commend you for your choice selection of audio log playback. You managed to keep it consistent narrative without being an extended version of some clip compilation.
I haven’t seen the Pre-Sequel and now I did, I now understand why Jack hates Vault Hunters... And strangely, I kindof understand and somewhat agree with his plan.
he is understandable and his motives are relatable, hes also not some james bond villian who jsut want to blow shot up for the hell of it. thats why hes an amazing villian and charcater.
@Iamwill M4 Still try to imaging what would have become of Jack if Lillith didn't just puch his face in the vault and sending him over the edge in as seen in bol2. Sure he might still be a sadist but a sadist with a good purpose. I mean his life got screw the moment that bandit held his wife hostage, which got angel to freak out, activated the turret and killed her mother. Thus, making Jack hate bandits to the gut and gave him a reason to pull all sort of schemes to achive it. Sometimes I do wonder if our support characters such as Moxxi and possibly Lillth are really that in for the good of Pandora?

im assuming your talking about Borderlands 3, and i agree, the story was gaaaarbaaaaage. To be fair though, best gamplay in the entire series. if only the story wasn't crap.
Admiral Chops With the gameplay. Absolutely! The gameplay of BL3 was honestly some of the best that BL has to offer. The gunplay is balanced, the hitreg finally works as intended 99.9% of the time, and guns feel and sound powerful. In story? As much as I hate to say it.... No. The story forces an unlikable “hero” character on you, while killing off likable ones. The plot ends on a cliffhanger that doesn’t satisfy many players or set up a good premise for a sequel. It doesn’t follow the Watchers prediction in BL2, and it fucks with everything we knew about sirens. With characters? I don’t really know? Ava is trash, and the villains don’t really make a lot of sense. Aurelia has her entire arc undone, and most of BL2s characters don’t make an appearance. Those who do, however, are underused(and then they killed off Maya, so.... yeah) Honestly, the only great thing about BL3 was the gunplay, which is an amazingly important factor in the looter-shooter genre, but... Borderlands has always had a story(which was surprisingly good, considering the genre), and this game just didn’t meet the standards of TPS or BL2. Not really worth it, in my opinion. But, hey, that’s my opinion. You’re allowed to have yours.
@@frankie1261 bl3 story is so bad that even tho the gameplay is great I couldn't play it,what makes bl2 great is the characters and the story its so enjoyable just listening to the characters make the pain of grinding levels not that bad, also the comedy in the 3 is not good I mean its so bad I can't even remember it but 2 I can still remember some of jacks lines.I refuse to talk about the villain comparison the villains are galaxy's away from each other in how good they are,so yeah gameplay might be good in 3 but what's the point?you can have the best shooter mechanics ever but if you shooting at things you don't care about that means nothing than your going to get bored eventually

I don't know about the story after Maya dies though (haven't played that far), but after Maya die I was like, damn, we're always losing to them.
I wonder what that line actually was
When he says his masterpiece he means like “the Vault” will cement his legacy

It's confirmed that Angel killed her mother, because in borderlands 3 there's a side quest that verifies this. Certain machines that angel touched stored memories from when she communicated with them, and in this side quest it's revealed that when a bandit tried to steal angel, she took control of a turret and killed the bandit kidnapping her, but accidentally killed her mother in the crossfire. And honestly bro, I feel for Jack. Not saying what he did to his daughter was right, but he watched his own daughter mow down his wife with a turret, and then his daughters last dying words were "You're an asshole". Feels fuckin bad man
I got the thought if a five year old on a turret stuck in my head

What infuriates me most about Aurelia from BL3 is the fact that they have erased her conscious. She is a vile human creature with barely any positive trait - but even *she* thought that Jack's killing sprees went too far and is vocal about her disdain about it.

I love how in the first game they talk about finding "THE" vault, when it turns out that planet has like 5 of them on it.

Aaannnd, when I played as Roland in BL , I ALWAYS respawned
I want to commend you for your choice selection of audio log playback. You managed to keep it consistent narrative without being an extended version of some clip compilation.
I haven’t seen the Pre-Sequel and now I did, I now understand why Jack hates Vault Hunters...
And strangely, I kindof understand and somewhat agree with his plan.
His reasoning is understandable, but his methods are sadistic. Which is why he's such a good villian
he is understandable and his motives are relatable, hes also not some james bond villian who jsut want to blow shot up for the hell of it. thats why hes an amazing villian and charcater.
With the gameplay.
Those who do, however, are underused(and then they killed off Maya, so.... yeah)
Honestly, the only great thing about BL3 was the gunplay, which is an amazingly important factor in the looter-shooter genre, but... Borderlands has always had a story(which was surprisingly good, considering the genre), and this game just didn’t meet the standards of TPS or BL2. Not really worth it, in my opinion. But, hey, that’s my opinion. You’re allowed to have yours.

@@badasscrusader The villain in 3 is definitely better than the villain in 1 though. I don't know about the story after Maya dies though (haven't played that far), but after Maya die I was like, damn, we're always losing to them.
