I agree with you. I have used La Mer multiple times and I really enjoyed it. My skin was very smooth. Despite all the remarks that it is nivea with seaweed, I will probably use it again. Think I also like it because of the ritual that goes with it.
La Mer made my skin feel SO smooth! I still think about it to this day!

You were spot. For me personally I don’t buy luxury skincare because I think it is more effective. I buy cheaper products that is highly effective. Like you say for me it is about the experience. The packaging. How it smells. How I feel when I use it. Nothing to do with how effective it is. But is definitely not something that you need and I will not buy go into credit to buy it
