I love both moisturizers SKII RNA daily use works for me and I have more combo/oily skin and it doesn't make me look oily at all. La Mer for when I need a little extra help for winter or travel. When I first got the sample of La Mer I thought to myself "this will never work cuz I'm already oily" I was so surprised when j saw the results the next day. I also love the La Mer mask for long flights ❤️❤️❤️

I always love watching your video, Steve. Thank you! I just bought La Mer Soft cream, 2 oz. The second time after I applied it on my face, my face turned all red and looked even thinner but not hurting... I got worried, should I keep using it, Steve? Why does this happen? My skin is thin and the reason why I bought it is because people say it can thicken your skin....
+Ruoying Wang la Mer soft cream is design for more oil skin . Not sure why your face turn red. But if just turn red and no burning and itching .. you should be fine . If also felt. Burning and itching than that mean you have allergy reactions. I would suggest you contact the le mar BC and ash why ..

You are very right about essence and serum, but everything else I use is very clean and simple. I like the cetaphil cleanser. The moisture gels from asia Laneige and SK-II are the type I've switched to because the forumulation is much more modern and basically I think puts water into the skin.

I was debating whether to buy the SK II RNA power cream lately, and your review just helped me made the decision! Thank you very much for posting this! I appreciate your honest reviews and advises! :) I already have the SK II essence, which I am loving. I use it alternatively with Missha essence--which is more budget friendly. However, now that I watched your video, I will solely focus on SK II essence. I wonder which I serum should I use though. I am currently using Dr. Oz's hyaluronic acid serum. Which one would you recommend? I am 26 year old with a combination skin. My cheeks though are very dry having laugh lines :( What do you think?

Cosmetic companies DO lie! Its called marketing and consumers need to be aware of what they are buying. Oil of Olay for example, has a moisturizer that claims to be fragrance free on the packing but clearly shows fragrance in the ingredients list.

Beauty skin care is a multi billion industry. The price of the product has nothing to do with its efficacy or potency. Designer brands have multi-million budget for global marketing and pays highly paid A1 celebrities in their ad campaign. The cost is transferred to consumer. Hence, over priced skin care products. This notion that because its expensive, then its more.effective is just a lie. Plus we all need to know that beauty products are not regulated like drugs. So manufacturers can use big words (like dermatologist tested, etc) and claim anything under the sun because they will not be liable for anything. Beauty products can only do so much. Nothing can reverse aging so the secret is really starting at an early. The number one thing you only need is a good sunscreen since UVA and UVB is the number cause of aging. If these products are as effective as they claim to be, Plastic surgeons should be out of business by now. The fact that surgery and botox are thriving only means that no skin care can take the place of of a surgeon or botox.

Nice review 👍🏼! I have been using SKII range for few yrs already. Initially like them very much(during skin tip top condition period). Recently my face have turn a bit more oily(acne prone) and I started to find that the range did not help me in getting rid of acne or calming it down. So I've decided to change to La Mer range (Today is the 2nd day). Hope they helps to calm down my skin 😃

So far, La Mer range have been working real well. The acne subsided aft few days of use. Will continue to use the range and see how it goes. As of now, I'm really impressed with the effect 👏🏻

u should try SKII Men its quite good, not as effective as the original but the smell is more acceptable. Hope u'll do a video review on it :P La Mer tester is always empty in the airport lol. Great review btw

Omg I just stumble on your video, completely agree that you should spend money on essence, it's been 7 years and I can't find a single dupe for the SK2 FTE, I also really like the lamer treatment lotion essence and yep can't find the dupe for that one too, even with the limitless choice of k-beauty and j-beauty products non giving me the same result.

once you see the spots on surface skin... it will never go away :(
all skin care products helps to make the spots look less visible and prevent future damage
even if you do leaser ...its only remove surface and more will appear

Hi, Steve. I'm using the La Mer cream now and I'm 19 years old. Usually I have dry skin so I bought the product in last winter. And this one is definitely a good one, but u know the crazy price tag for it. So I plan to use the La Mer again maybe at my age of early 30 or so. Do you think La Mer is appropriate for 30's and even late 30? Thanks,
P.s: Plz recommend me some inexpensive brands that are good at hydration.

+Bhavna Doshi LXP is very rich .. If you have very dry skin it will be great. But for me is little too rich for summer . So I use RNA Cream ...💕
Awesome review/explanation is so appreciated. My recent experience at Nordstrom was a sample of LaPrarie caviar eye cream [$360]. I was blown away at the amazing results the next morning but more so the price!!! It was far better than my Shiseido eye cream [$58] on 1st use. Have you tried it? xoxo

Magr G la prairie caviar eye cream is the best! I prefer it to a mere but I like using all one brand and ny dark circles have diminished so o don't need it as much but I feel la prairie is far superior.

Hi Steve, I have some questions for you, I have very sensitive skin and I have a slight stinging and redness reaction to the SK2 products particularly the RNA moisturizer and eye creme, which lasts only a few minutes but is enough to cause me concern. But I love the cleanser and essence which do not cause a reaction and want to keep those in my skin care routine. Do you know why I get this reaction?
Would you recommend I combine sk2 with a moisturizer and eye creme from La Mer? Do those two brands work well together and will I still get some anti-aging qualities from La Mer?

Hi Steve, I’m currently using SK-II set containing the gentle cleanser, clear lotion, essence and RNA power radical new age. I have a lot of small pimples on my forehead and some on my chin. I’m not concerned about aging and whitening since I’m still in my teenage year but I am mostly concerned about breakouts. What serum would you suggest I use?

Don’t use both cream at the same time . Too rich and you won’t get the true benefits
I would suggest you use RNA Power cream day time and LaMer cream at night . Before the cream you can add a hydrating serum xoxo

+Crystal Pham la Mer is more on hydration not much anti aging. Essential power is much lighter texture than la Mer , but has much more power on anti aging 💖

Hi Steve. Can I apply a brightening moisturiser then followed by a firming moisturiser? It means using 2 moisturisers on top of serum at night.
+Petrine Woo I don't recommends apply 2 face cream on top of each other ... Moisture is a barrier .. If you later more than one face cream .. It may case other issues 😱

For SK-II ew usually upgrade our key products once every 2 - 3 years
I have just bought a set for men and my friend is bringing it to me here in Nigeria where SKII producets are not found. I will update you for the effect if time allows. well. now i am using apple cider vinegar as tonner to clean my large pored face. it s working perfectly for the time being, can i still use it as tonner before apply FTE? thank you

ok for dry skin LA mer cream is very rich and it will help to keep skin hydrate. You can use along with SK-II Facial Treatment Essence .
For acne scars you can use SK-II Skin Refining Treatment at night (3 x a week) after Treatment Essence before La mer :)

has used creme de la mer moisturizer creme any means here that the age is over 27 years and has seen the difference using la mer? let's say the experience of .... This cream does not do something other than a hydration under the age of 26 years

That mean the products you are using is not going deep to your skin . Maybe try to exfoliate first follow by hydration serum ,,, you should see the pores look less noticeable xoxo
