Love La Mer. I’m 68 and I can definitely tell a difference in the texture of my skin. I use the Replenishing Oil Exfoliator, the Moisturizing Soft Cream, the Revitalizing Hydrating Serum and the fluid foundation. Great products.
Finally someone knows what they are talking about!! I am so tired of so many plebeians attacking La Mer solely based on its price! It clearly makes major changes to the skin for the good! The brand is successful for a reason! Thank you for your honesty and the truth. I am a man so our skin is thicker and needs more aggressive bio active compounds that actually work in our skin care items. There are a few brands for men but I have had outrageously miraculous results from La Mer products. I keep it fairly simple since I use prescription actives which are Tretinoin 0.1% cream and 20% azelaic acid gel as well as benzoyl peroxide 2.5% and 4% salicylic acid micronizes extended release gel that releases over 8-12 hours to not irritate or burn the skin. So I am careful with what products I use. Every single La Mer product I have tried actually prevent any of the prescriptions from causing irritation and redness. The products heavily heal my skin as well as potentiate my prescription actives. In addition to La Mer I do use a couple products from The Ordinary which are the 10% niacinamide/1% Zinc 2x daily (helps Tretinoin and Azelaic acid work better). Even though that sounds like a lot of products I only classify them all in one category of actives. I use La Mer cleansers, lotion/toner, Soft Creme, Eye Cream as well as serums. At night I keep it simple with a mild cleanse, apply lotion and soft creme, let it absorb then apply Tretinoin and finish off with a very thick layer of Crème de La Mer! I am 36 and people constantly think I am 22-25 at most. I know this sounds excessive for a man but honestly I could care less what people think because this is what I do for my main self care rituals as a coping skill for having extreme chronic pain and mental health struggles and trauma from recent abuse (yes as an adult man).

How I love that you don't do any beauty surgeries so far. A real smile and naturally moving face are more important than being wrinkle free if you ask me. My absolute favorite is the Le Mer foaming cleanser. It's the best for my combination skin. The scent is amazing and you only need a pea sized dollop each cleanse-- so the 4.7 Oz tube lasts quite awhile. I'm 56 and have tried just about everything else. Nothing compares. I just ordered the soft cream.

I’ve debated purchasing from la mer because I’m very young (24). But I suppose it’s never too early to take care of your skin and I’ve always admired how glowy and healthy your skin looks! Going to give the moisturizing cream a try, thanks Michele!
I would use Medical Grade Skincare instead.. La Mer, Sisley, La Prarie, and Chantecaille cost 2-3x times as much as medical grade skincare and do not perform nearly as well.
I just started using la mer and I have to say it’s the best I have tried so far. Normally my skin is super dry and sensitive I also work in the sun all day and the moisture gel, cleanser and exfoliating scrub has done wonders for my skin in about a week of use that other brands Haven’t achieved for my skin in a month .
Love La Mer! My favs are the matte moisturizer, oil exfoliator, the foundation, the firming mask,the oil! The moisturizer makes my face soft... must be the Miracle Broth. Thanks

Honestly La Mer is my secret weapon for being successful with tretinoin. My night routine is applying the Revitalizing Hydrating serum to cleansed skin after patting on The Treatment Lotion, then Obagi tretinoin 0.05%, then I cocktail the original Moisturizing Creme with the Renewal Oil and slather that all over my face, neck and décolleté. Love La Mer!! The first product I ever got from them was the lip balm years and years ago. I had this weird dry spot on my lower lip that just wouldn’t go away. I had tried all my usual lip products and nothing worked. I literally used the LM at night after getting it, and the NEXT MORNING the stupid dry spot was almost gone!!!! I started using La Mer in 1999 when there was an actual Waiting List for their products in Germany - no kidding! Great products, but sometimes I try other products. At the moment, I use La Mer and Evidens de Beauté - a great skincare for sensitive skin!

I've been using La Mer for more than two years now and I'll never change brands anymore. I've tried so many brands before even the expensive ones (la mer is the most expensive so far tho) but La Mer drastically changed how my skin looks. It's clearer and healthier and the products don't give my skin any breakouts. I love La Mer so much I don't age. 💚
I love trying new moisturizers. I have not tried La Mer. I am always intrigued by their products. I have dehydrated skin in the cooler months. I turn more combination as the temperature climbs. It is nearly seventy degrees today. My skin is still dry. I am not sure when my skin will gain back its moisture. I will have to pick up one of their moisturizers during the Sephora sale. Perhaps my skin will pick a lane by then.
I think this is brilliant.....I get a full explanation about each product so I can decide what LaMer products work best for me. I am 53 and have combo skin. I grew up with oily skin. Having this helps me a lot. I’m definitely going to try the exfoliator.
You were the reason why I took the plunge on la mer 2 years ago...and 3 soft creams later, I have no regrets at all. I LOVE the scent of it too...recently got the oil exfoliator and now I can't see my life without it, it really leaves my skin super soft like no other scrub does. 😜

I cannot use any other foundation once I started using their foundation. I had gotten a sample that I put in a travel bag and once I used it I was hooked. Because it is so expensive I have tried MANY other high end foundations and none can come close to the LaMer one so I pay the cost and get it when Sephora has the 20% off if I can

The first night I applied La Mer, when I woke up the following morning I couldn't believe my skin - fresh, clear, smooth and glowing! Ladies, BUY IT because it WORKS! Don't waste money on those off brands, high-end brands, or low price brands, because NONE of them work like La Mer!!

Is it ok to use a very large amount on your face. I got a very large quarter size goop out of the jar and I was so tired that I just rubbed into 8 fingers, my whole face, neck, eyes, and both hands. I look into the jar and I think I took like a whole 10 percent of the product. Can you actually use to much? Will anything bad happen? Thanks!

Is so overpriced. Try Mario Badescu cream. Literally the same ingredients and effect.

I too am a lifetime La Mer user ... I’ve reduced the number of La Mer products but I swear by the gel cream as my moisturizer year round.

I have been using La Mer for over 15 years! Agree with you about the moisturizer wardrobe, i also rotate between the cream, soft cream and the renewal oil depending on how my skin feels that day.

Love La Mer!! The first product I ever got from them was the lip balm years and years ago. I had this weird dry spot on my lower lip that just wouldn’t go away. I had tried all my usual lip products and nothing worked. I literally used the LM at night after getting it, and the NEXT MORNING the stupid dry spot was almost gone!!!! It was like the angels were singing when I saw it!! Lolllll! 👼 👼. I’ve been using it ever since! (I do stray once in a while to try new products, but I always go back to my LM lip balm!). 💖💖💖💖💖💖

Mosturizing soft cream made my face 3x per week. I use it at night. So relaxing and banished wrinkles that I had in my forehead.
La Mer also has a Cool Gel Cream which is very light and great for people with oily skin or during the humid months of the year. La Mer face cream can also be used around the eyes, as an eye cream.
After years of getting samples because I didn’t want to invest I bit the bullet today and bought the moisturizer and my skin hasn’t stopped thanking me yet

I started using La Mer in 1999 when there was an actual Waiting List for their products in Germany - no kidding! Great products, but sometimes I try other products. At the moment, I use La Mer and Evidens de Beauté - a great skincare for sensitive skin!

I've been using La Mer for more than two years now and I'll never change brands anymore. I've tried so many brands before even the expensive ones (la mer is the most expensive so far tho) but La Mer drastically changed how my skin looks. It's clearer and healthier and the products don't give my skin any breakouts. I love La Mer so much I don't age. 💚
I love trying new moisturizers. I have not tried La Mer. I am always intrigued by their products. I have dehydrated skin in the cooler months. I turn more combination as the temperature climbs. It is nearly seventy degrees today. My skin is still dry. I am not sure when my skin will gain back its moisture. I will have to pick up one of their moisturizers during the Sephora sale. Perhaps my skin will pick a lane by then.
I think this is brilliant.....I get a full explanation about each product so I can decide what LaMer products work best for me. I am 53 and have combo skin. I grew up with oily skin. Having this helps me a lot. I’m definitely going to try the exfoliator.
You were the reason why I took the plunge on la mer 2 years ago...and 3 soft creams later, I have no regrets at all. I LOVE the scent of it too...recently got the oil exfoliator and now I can't see my life without it, it really leaves my skin super soft like no other scrub does. 😜

Skincare junkie here :) I own the moisturizing cream and the soft cream and have found several other moisturizers that produce similar or better results at a lower price: SkinCeuticals- Daily Moisture, Origins- A Perfect World SPF 40, and Obaji Medical- Obaji Hydrate. The only La Mer product that I’ve found to be unmatched is the La Mer- The Mist. I keep this spray in my bag and spritz anytime I need a boost in hydration. Very convenient and the hydration is long lasting.

I cannot use any other foundation once I started using their foundation. I had gotten a sample that I put in a travel bag and once I used it I was hooked. Because it is so expensive I have tried MANY other high end foundations and none can come close to the LaMer one so I pay the cost and get it when Sephora has the 20% off if I can

Is it ok to use a very large amount on your face. I got a very large quarter size goop out of the jar and I was so tired that I just rubbed into 8 fingers, my whole face, neck, eyes, and both hands.
