If you’re too lazy to watch the entire video I summed it up for you. 1. Wear SPF 2. Wear sunglasses 3. Hydration. Drink water and eat fruits. 4. Sleep on your back to prevent wrinkles, or use a silk pillow case. 5. Turn off the blue light on your phone. 6. Stop using makeup wipes. Use a gentle makeup remover. 7. Use anti aging treatments like botox, a facial toning device, etc. You’re welcome 🤩
Susan I would love for you to make a video about how to prevent Rosacea my mom has it and I’m very scared to get it over time. I would like to know how to prevent it and also if you have it how to control it
Susan Yara i usually start my day by applying a tinted sunscreen. How do I reapply sunscreen? I mean, will it clog my pores if I reapply a tinted one or can I use tinted in the morning and non tinted if I want to reapply?
People often forget that most of our issues with our skin come from within. There is no skincare in the word, at least not yet, that can undo the bad health habits that we all have. Make sure you're taking good care of yourself. Sleep and eat well, try your best to have a positive mindset, don't stress yourself out so much etc. All these factors can age you internally and externally. And the good part is, doing these things cost you nothing. Don't go out and buy anything and everything, start with things that will help you in a longterm.
There are special sunscreen formulations specifically for the eye area to prevent the tearing and stinging some products can cause. Shiseido and Supergoop both offer undereye suncreens that won't irritate the eye area and pair well with concealer😊
Hey Susan, love the video! I would just like to make one major clarification - Please consider the differences between the PA and SPF rating systems. PA is a less consistent rating system because it is not related to time, so it is unclear how long it lasts from person to person. Additionally, PA only refers to UVA rays being blocked, not UVB. There is a reason you’ll never see dermatologists or plastic surgeons carrying sun protection products under the PA rating system. Instead, stick to products labeled as broad spectrum protection SPF sunscreens, as any good one will provide protection from both UVA and UVB rays. The PA system is largely untested formulas too, and there have been numerous claims over decades that those products do not provide adequate sun protection. -source: I am a BSN who works in a dermatologist office
Additionally I would love to see SPF vs PA+ products tested since there is a lot of skepticism in the medical community about the potency of PA rated products.
Powder sunscreen is a good additive, however, all sunscreen is based on 1 oz of product on your face. So any moisturizer, foundation or powder isn’t going to protect you as much because you won’t use that much unless you want to look crazy. However, because sunscreen needs to be reapplied, it’s a good idea to start with a mineral sunscreen (titanium dioxide, zinc oxide etc) these degrade less quickly because they reflect. Oxybenzone and other chemical sunscreens convert uv into other less harmful energy but they degrade more quickly. However, mineral sunscreen tends to have more of a white cast and flashback than chemical sunscreens so be careful at weddings and such. Wear this under your makeup then throughout the day reapply sunscreen powder on top of your makeup or an spf setting spray. The base sunscreen is best but applying powder and spray over your makeup is better than not reapplying at all if you are wearing makeup you can’t take off. I’m a ginger, and I have to wear sunscreen every day, I know what works and what doesn’t and I’ve done more research than I’d like to admit.
I work in from todo my computer all day, i use sunscreen but i will like to know what ingrediente should i look to protect me from blue light. Could you name some?
I never skip SPF on my eyelid and the upper bridge of my nose (H line) because its the most protruding contour on our face. Just tap lightly the sunscreen on the eyelids. Because if you went overboard and rub roughly, it can hurt the eyes.
Silk pillow case actually improves your skin quality and if you tend to have frizzy hair then that will help tons with it too! (I used to have frizzy hair and spotted diference on my skin too!! I am 29 and all the time people guess I am 20) :) I love her videos she is really informative and has nice voice but I wish she wouldnt say she got botox or neuro toxin injections because it makes me trust her less because she doesnt go by creams only but can easily 'cheat it' by botox or other if she wants to look better. In first few videos of her which I have come across just yday I have marveled over how perfect and natural her skin looks but now I know its faked on some places. A bit sad but I guess that is the way that world works nowadays. Still good videos though and have learnt some new things
Love you Susan but No No sleeping on my back. I am a naturally side sleeper and back sleeping forcibly will just ensure I won’t get any quality sleep and health issues from that is worse than wrinkles and crows feet. I like your suggestions of silk pillows and I have one but will invest in more.
I have never been an avid user of make-up wipes mainly because I feel they are wasteful. However, now that I know about the damage they can do I am even happier I avoid using them. I also think of you every time I see them in store and say in my head - no no no. lol
Hi Susan, I am a bit confused from other videos about AHAS and Vitamin C being used together some say its fine some say not so much. You are the queen, so could you please clarify? Thank you!
It is hard to know for sure depending on the pH of the AHA solution. But it is well known that for effective absorption and activity, vitamin C needs to be kept at pH 3-3.5. So it might even be preferable to couple it with another acid. Salicylic acid (a BHA) has been shown to enhance vitamin C absorption topically. I think the concern might just come from the possibility of irritation when both are used at the same time. But once you give your skin enough time to acclimate to it, it should be fine? At least that's what I found using a BHA cleanser followed by vitamin C serum.
I love Supergoop! I received some of their CC cream in a birchbox a few years ago and was hooked! The last time I ordered some, I got some of the lotion and it works well for some of my most sensitive skin friends
I really appreciate and admire what you do for your skin and what you are teaching us....... but if I start doing all these things for my skin just thinking about how to have no wrinkles at all till the time I am 50, I think I’ll go mad and I don’t want to go mad....... the fact that people want to look like they are 20 year olds when actually they are 30 or 40 is just sad...... but you are just giving information and I really appreciate that. Also I feel like I am writing a hate comment..... I don’t do that at all but I just wanted to say that I enjoy your videos a lot and they are very informative but it’s also making me crazy at the same time ........ constantly thinking about what all I am doing which will cause wrinkles in the future. Can you make a video on the different types of chemicals for the skin (eg. Hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, Copper Peptides, etc.) as to what they target, who they benefit, best combinations or combinations to avoid when mixing?
I need a daily beauty skin care for sweaty skin! I can’t use heavy creams or sunscreen because it’s so hot and humid in my country, the minute i step out of the house i sweat everything off. But i can’t find a moisturiser that is created for “oily” skin because the majority of them are gel based and it dries out my skin like crazy 😭
I can relate to your situation, in the really hot days i tend to put a gel moisturizer (i have combo skin) and on top a moisturizing spf, that way i can hold some of the oiliness and not dry my skin out. But no skincare will prevent sweating (unfortunately), its just a natural process. Try also to dab your face throught out the day. This is just what works for me.

Love your channel! In regards to the SuperGoop Superscreen daily moisturizer, the website suggests that the cream be reapplied every 2 hours. I'd love to try the cream, but reapplying every couple of hours doesn't seem convenient. Any other tips, sunscreen brands or suggestions? Thanks!
I would love to see you do a whole video on derma rollers. Do you use it? I have seen some videos where women say it works wonders. But what is you opinion? :)
Hi there, I just found your channel and I love it :) I was curious, what kinds of eye care creams or serums do you recommend for aging, or do you have a video on it already?
Hey Susan, i came across a few people that were not a fan of make up or moisturizers with SPF in it. They stated that there is a certain amount of spf you need to apply on your face for it to really withstand the sun. So if you have a moisturizer or make up that is mixed with SPF, the SPF is diluted and doenst protect as well . Is this true??
Love your video Susan! But some ingredients in Banila CO’s cleansing balm are very harmful to the ocean(especially to the fish). I don’t know if the brand adjusted any ingredients recently..... hope there will be more environmental friendly beauty.
I have a tip I use when I don’t end up drinking enough water, when I drink alcohol, don’t get enough sleep or sweat a lot due to hot weather... the night before I take an over the counter rehydration (electrolyte) powder and drink it in a glass of water. This has really helped reduce the puffiness in my eyes in the morning and also reduce headaches that happen due to lack of hydration. This isn’t meant to be used daily, as a substitute to drinking enough water but it really helps when you have a down day. It’s also phenomenal to use when you’re sick.
Gowri iyer I cannot imagine how that would work because hyaluronic acid always needs to PULL moisture from its environment which is why you always need to add enough moisture to the skin so the HA has something to work with and why it’s important to use LMW (low molecular weight) HA as it needs to penetrate deep within the skin. A HMW (high) HA will pull moisture from inside your skin to the surface dehydrating it in the long run. Also, since topical HA pulls moisture from its environment, it normally pulls moisture from the air around you which can be a problem if you live in a dry area as it has no moisture to pull from the air and then needs to pull moisture from your skin. That’s why I don’t see how it can increase hydration through ingestion, only pull the water into itself, which means you’d need to drink even more water to make up for the HA (same way you need to wear enough moisturizer to feed the HA you apply onto your skin). Unless there’s something I’m missing... You’re better off taking electrolytes. Btw I love HA on my skin but you need to know how it works and use it properly if you truly want it to benefit your skin.
What do you think about face shaving ?? I have seen girls all around youtube and internet doing it with eyebrow razers(tinkle) for smooth skin for flawless makeup application
Hi Susan! Thank you for all make up and skincare tips . Have a question, do you still use your nuface device now day's since your pregnant? I just got my nuface device and it says don't use when pregnant i didn't know that until i got the device (
Ugh! I wish I could sleep on my back! I have tried so hard but I find myself just flipping onto my side and giving up for comfort 😅 guess I need that pillow
Thank you susan... Prevention is better then treatment. Now days this treatment makes women beautiful but some how it looks artificial beauti.... doesn't look natural.
I sleep on my stomach my whole life and no matter what I do I cannot help it. Even if I start on my back or side I always end up on my stomach even in my sleep subconsciously
I love tips for skin care but it’s nice when the person saying I do that but I am also use some procedure like Botox .. cause we watch another perspective
I wanted to ask you this question a long time ago. So, should I put sunscreen on my eyes? I usually only use eye cream and avoided using sunscreen there. thanks for the tips.
I’m pretty sure you absolutely need to apply sunscreen EVERYWHERE especially your eyes. Just carefully and not too close to the eyelash line so it doesn’t go into your eyes.
Quixotic I saw this other comment that said Shiseido and Supergoop both offer under eye sunscreens that don’t cause irritation around your eyes... I have personally never tried them but you never know maybe they will work for you 😃😃
Interesting, and informative. But what about the BAGS under the eyes. Have you seen the beauty tutorial of “Hello This Is Anne Marie” who’s got the whole country looking for Nivea Skin Firming Smoothing Concentrated Serum. 2.50 oz. “She buys it at her local Drugstore.” Yea right. Well amazon has it for $168.94 less $48.27. She says it took away her “ bags “. Well needless to say I was all ears. She never mentioned the price, so after you go on line to find it your shocked at the price and you have to look and read over all the bottles to find the right one. It’s most disconcerting. I just can’t see myself spending that kind of money on Nivea anything. So unless I win money, or given money, from a tall dark stranger, I’ll have to remain “the bag lady”.
If you’re too lazy to watch the entire video I summed it up for you.
1. Wear SPF
2. Wear sunglasses
Naama Loll thank you so much ❤️
Thanks!!
How to turn off the blue light?
I'm weird maybe it’s just the true tone option
You guys prevention is key!! Eye cream won’t stop aging around our eyes, so we have to take care of that skin.
Susan Yara I'd love to buy the sunscreen! Do they ship international (Germany)???
I agree. My dermatologist says the same. Now I use eyecream for when I wear make up, so everything stays put.
Susan I would love for you to make a video about how to prevent Rosacea my mom has it and I’m very scared to get it over time. I would like to know how to prevent it and also if you have it how to control it

Ugh! I wish I could sleep on my back! I have tried so hard but I find myself just flipping onto my side and giving up for comfort 😅 guess I need that pillow
valgal193 I wish too!! I’m never successful when I try.
Is it true taking hot showers sags your skin and damages hair?
Thank you susan...
Prevention is better then treatment. Now days this treatment makes women beautiful but some how it looks artificial beauti.... doesn't look natural.
I wish I found you sooner ❤️❤️❤️
The woman knows what she is talking about
I sleep on my stomach my whole life and no matter what I do I cannot help it. Even if I start on my back or side I always end up on my stomach even in my sleep subconsciously
Use silk/satin/soft microfber pillowcases. It's softer for both skin and hair. :)
Is it bad to put sunscreen in the eye area?
Answer meeeeee
Love ur videos 💕
I love tips for skin care but it’s nice when the person saying I do that but I am also use some procedure like Botox .. cause we watch another perspective
I wanted to ask you this question a long time ago. So, should I put sunscreen on my eyes? I usually only use eye cream and avoided using sunscreen there. thanks for the tips.
Eugenia Pastrana yessss! I have the same question!
I’m pretty sure you absolutely need to apply sunscreen EVERYWHERE especially your eyes. Just carefully and not too close to the eyelash line so it doesn’t go into your eyes.
There are sunscreens formulated for your undereye area😊
@@amsaric thanks :)
@@stefaniemorgan8231 I have not seen the first yet. Could you tell me which one?
I love your videos 💕 So interesting and extremely informative. Thank you Susan❣️
Sunglasses ruin my makeup foundation! The only time I wear it, is when I don’t wear makeup. Anybody like this?
I cant wear sunscreen around the eyes, I have extremely sensitive irritable eyes. So what now?
Quixotic I saw this other comment that said Shiseido and Supergoop both offer under eye sunscreens that don’t cause irritation around your eyes... I have personally never tried them but you never know maybe they will work for you 😃😃
Im in my early 20's and already has wrinkly eyes
Although most people sleep on their right side. Love your videos!
Love your videos!! I love supergoop sunscreens, I need to buy the day moisturizer ❣
So it's normal to get botox now..??
That ZIIP device is INSANELY expensive!
Your disdain for makeup wipes is the best. lol
I would not eat plenty of fruit instead of drinking water, it is a lot of sugar that will eventually be bad for your skin
why the heck did they make spf in a JAR......
Additional tip: get your eyes checked regularly, you might be squinting.
Bridget McGlone That’s a great tip!
Interesting, and informative. But what about the BAGS under the eyes. Have you seen the beauty tutorial of
“Hello This Is Anne Marie” who’s got the whole country looking for Nivea Skin Firming Smoothing Concentrated
Serum.
Why would Super goop make a sunscreen in a jar!? Doesn’t that degrade the formula!?
Satin over silk.
