Jim and Chris dive into some of the trashiest of trash movies this time. Jim has selected Evil Toons, about an evil cartoon killer, but which has less than 2 minutes of animation. And Chris has selected The Slumber Party Massacre, a fascinating slasher movie targeting teen girls that was written and directed by women. Is either any good?

"notice how we are not talking about the movie" should be the new catch phrase. Good one.

Another great episode, guys. The eighties definitely was the era of T&A and gore. Absolute teenage boy fodder.

I can't believe they put the recovered video of David Carradine's death in the beginning of Evil Toons. That was just too much, what were they thinking?

It can't have been the Real Thing as he wasn't furiously Self Polluting at the same instance.
It must have been a strange headstone.

Not sure where you guys are at with trash *crime* movies, but I HIGHLY recommend Jim Van Bebber's DEADBEAT AT DAWN (1988) and Jeff Leroy's CRACK (2000) both of which have horror gore all throughout. Crazy stuff!

Here for the Dallas and Knot's landing refernces. The only thing that would have sent this episode over the top is if Falcon's Crest got slipped in too.

Another great episode guys! Thank you.
If you’re looking to pair the 1990’s Captain America, I’d recommend Dolph Lundgren’s The Punisher (1989)

I think that a good pair with Swamp Thing would really be the Man-Thing movie, but I understand you wanted to do Howard the Duck and pair him with something.
As far as a pairing with the 90s Captain America, I say you should go with Steel. Yeah, the characters on the page have nothing similar, but I feel there's a similar feel of bad movie to both.

I don't wanna be that guy, but it's Monique Gabrielle, not Gabrielle Monique, gentlemen. And Evils Toons was released in '91, and Carradine died in '09, so I don't know how taking the scene where he hanged himself out somehow is a realistic expectation?

Gonna say it again, strongly recommend you guys watch The Dragon Lives Again.
A film about Bruce Lee (played by Bruce Liang, who would later portray "The Beast" in Stephen Chow's Kung-Fu Hustle and who honestly looks more like a chinese version of Tony Montana than Bruce Lee in this movie) in hell, fighting alongside Popeye and Caine from Kung-Fu, trying to set order in the chinese underworld by taking down a ruthless mafia organized by Don Corleone and his henchmen: Dracula, James Bond, the Stranger with no name, the demon from the Exorcist and Zatoichi. And if that's not enough, Bruce also fights against mythical chinese deities.
It's available on youtube, dubbed in english and the film starts off with a penis joke. I wouldn't say it's the best film ever, since there are parts where it can get tedious, but just the insanity of the premise alone was enough to entertain my friends into watching it.

That is a strange thought, though. You can't just make thousands of sold tapes and DVDs disappear, then edit and reprint the movie, to take out an uncomfortable scene related to the passing of an actor. If we go to that extent, it's time to realize that the topics of mortality and violence are always uncomfortable to someone. There's millions of people being adversely affected by such display. That element is never shown in good taste. Where to draw the line and why?!

Doesn’t fit the show but i’d recommend looking into Dude Bro Party Massacre 3. It’s a more recentish slasher parody but it’s done with real passion. It’s goofy as hell. There is no dude bro party massacre 1 or 2. Only 3

Don't worry, you haven't reached the bottom yet (there's always a lower rung). If you want to get even more deep, watch Goblin (1993) and Suburban Sasquatch (2004). Btw I only know those movies because of another channel.
