    Night of the Creeps is one of my favorite B movies. It is so inventive and a totally enjoyable, tongue-in-cheek comic horror flick from beginning to end.

      Night of the Creeps is one of my all time favourite movies in any genre. I don't know if it counts as a B movie though, it had almost the same budget as The Terminator.

    Nice to see Maniac Cop on the list. I became friends with actor Robert Z'Dar during the last several years of his life, so I hope if they eventually do remake Maniac Cop they give him a nod or a tribute since he was in all three movies as the character.

      Here's another gem I've found: Bells of Coronado, a 1950 film released by Republic Pictures (which sadly is no longer active) that had cowboys in the then-present setting taking on outlaws trying to steal uranium from a mine and smuggle it out to Communist governments in Asia (rather timely considering that same year, the Korean War broke out). At first, one would think the plot absurd and illogical, but the writers did such a good job with creativity and logical situations that suddenly it becomes a reasonable story. It's one of the most unusual stories I've ever seen in a movie, but it's now in my opinion one of the most underrated I've ever seen. Some rather big western actors are in it: Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Pat Brady, among others.

  • @MrLorenzovanmatterho
    @MrLorenzovanmatterho 4 года назад +2

    Maniac Cop is ok but 2 and 3 are actually far better. The original Nemisis is great (partly because of the action but also its' Blade Runner style musings by the characters) but the sequels are also interesting.

    • @faz6877
      @faz6877 4 года назад

      respectfully, I think you would be in the vast minority saying Maniac Cop 3 is better than the first (let alone a good film). I agree many fans prefer Maniac Cop 2, but that is not the case with 3. It's a mess.
      I mean William Lustig quit the project and refused to finish. They bring in that voodoo nonsense as well lol.
      But I will say one hell of a car chase / explosion to end the film. Both Maniac Cop 2 & 3 end with impressive effects. But that's the only praise I can give to Maniac Cop 3.

    There was a time in my youth when watching sci-fi and horror B flicks was my main past time, I was very passionate about it. I still watch them occasionally but I'm more into quality scifi these days. This said, I think I missed a couple of these, since 20 years ago wasn't as easy as it is today to source this material here in Europe, the internet made the foreign catalog searching and long phone calls with distributors a thing of the past, I don't think kids today realize how easy they have it, I'm personally very grateful for the "found in two clicks" modern thech, and of course thanks for the list.
    By the way, Street Trash has always been one of my favorites, it's terribly underrated, and I think it has a lot of Troma visuals into it, as Nuke'em High shows, is there any way to check if the same people worked on it?

    Almost all "B" movies are always way better than crappy, cringy, mainstream, big production movies. That's how it's always been. Better music (none of that worn-out, boring, unfitting, symphony orchestra trash), more cool actors, more special effects, more action, funner stories and more plots (and tons of hot chicks). What's there not to love about all that??? Also, all the best action and fighting movies are B movies. Anyone like Jackie Chan movies??

    • @Mondomeyer

      Well, Jackie Chan is pretty damn mainstream, but yes, his best work is generally his more "obscure" HK efforts.

    Toxic Avenger, Frankenhooker & Brain Damage should’ve made the list too. Original 976-Evil was good too.

    Trancers had serious potential to become better sequels because after part 2. 3 was okay but it felt a little deviated and it didn't feel like trancers anymore

    Yeah pretty dodgey stuff - I like it!
    A few of these I seem to remember being on the Video Nasties list in the 70/80's. Censors have no sense of humour. Head of the Family's pretty funny. I seem to remember buying it because it had something to do with Re-Animator. Nuke 'em High was pretty funny too.

    can you just add list of movies in description, or at least keep the name on screen during whole part of movie, if I mishear name I must search on video. Thx for great clips and suggestions

    • @SeremPoStanovima

      @alraune 666 users will always watch quality content, for example take Cinefix channel, they have their top list movies written in description of video, but people still watch those

    •  4 года назад

      @@SeremPoStanovima But the risk is higher that they do not even risk a view if they are listed and viewers disagree. Quality? That's the problem... click bait titles, not making sense related to content ... 'underrated', 'forgotten' ... but provide random compilation of still hugely popular classics ...

    “Perfectly suitable”? What you mean is “perfectly suited”. They mean two different things.
