I’d watch a movie with a very similar concept to this. A musical rock n roll singer who constantly spits out classic rock references and sings rock a billy songs while hunting his victims The idea is cool but it was underutilzied in this film the killer doesn’t even show up for real until late in the movie
I read in some magazine a long time ago that this killer is supposed to be the killer in the original who was reincarnated. Some of the scenes in this movie kinda lead to that although they don’t come out and say it.
There was actually another ending to this movie that involved a man in a mask falling from a building. You can see a shot of it on the back of the flick's VHS box. I've been trying to find a clip of the man-in-the-mask ending, but it's been impossible. If anybody finds it, please post it. :) Incidentally, if you look carefully, there's a weird overlay effect, which may have something to do with it. 9:01
@veganhigler6541 The masked man was the Driller Killer. I don't remember the specifics of the scene because I saw it nearly 30 years ago, but that part was in the movie.
@veganhigler6541 Maybe. I also noticed that, as the Driller Killer falls from the roof, his pants are different. They're baggier. 9:06 He also appears to be wearing a red--maybe flannel--shirt, which differs from his outfit at 0:07.

Some time after "Slumber II" came out, there was another movie titled "Sorority House Massacre II" that used clips of "Slumber Party Massacre (1982)" in its trailer. The killer in "Sorority II" wore dark baggy pants and a red flannel shirt. I don't remember much of Sorority II's details, for it's been over 20 years since I watched it.
I saw this movie once in the 90s when I was really young maybe 7 or 8 and I had so many questions like who was this guy and why does the girl end up in a weird hospital room at the end. I felt bad for the for main girl because she is stuck in a looping nightmare. We never find out who this guy was or his backstory and I didnt see this movie again for 20 years.
Actually it means none of the preceeding movie ever actually happened. Kinda like how I used to end all my 5th grade creative writing stories...It was all a dream.
This guy needs his own franchise lol he’s great I wish they gave him a backstory
