I appreciate the fact that you made a video about the clippers when they don’t suck. All of NBA RUclips hasn’t said a word about the clippers except when they were terrible at the beginning of the James Harden trade. I’m not a clippers fan, but it’s so annoying that there’s 100 videos out now about Draymond Green being an idiot and they’ve completely ignored the clippers because there is a drama. Because they’re winning.

I love his mentality and his approach to the game. He lets the game come to him. And, very rarely does he make stupid decisions with the basketball. He runs the floor and moves without the ball to create opportunities to score. Young cars should emulate his game............solid dude.

That injury against Golden State when he was with the Spurs probably took around 15-20% of his highest ceiling. Kawhi would have at least 2 more chips now if that didn't happen. We would've seen the second coming of Jordan or very close to it. Jordan would be better offensively(quicker, higher vert) but I give the edge to Kawhi on defence(stronger, longer arms).

Kawhi is a much more interesting player. He can shoot 3 pointer, he’s one of the best defenders, played well mid range, layup, dunk and sometimes unexpected shots.

That clippers team getting a ring would mean a lot to a lot of their players and even the franchise itself, it would be the first championship that the clippers franchise,
paul george, james harden, russel westbrook are all players that would love a championship on their resume to basically guarantee their hof entry, Kawhi getting a ring where people cannot say you would have lost if kd and klay werent injured would also help his case as one of the best small forwards of all time.

It's also really good for Kawhi since they have a PG who fits Kawhi's style much better. Harden commanding automatic double teams whenever he has the ball and when he's doing high screens collapses opponents defenses and gives Kawhi so much room to get the ball and go to his spots for easy points. I feel like the injury narrative around the team before was because it was always Kawhi and PG having to bring up the ball and do everything.

Glad you mentioned the playmaking, we saw flashes last year but his reads this year are so much better. There's even been a couple of times I was surprised the stat sheet hadn't counted a couple more assists. If there was no Harden and Kawhi were handling the ball more, he could easily be up at 6 assists a game, which is something you'd never have expected 4 years ago. It's helping with the sharing-the-ball thing so much and just makes the whole team so much harder to guard, I love how he doesn't force anything. Like he's happy to let the game come to him, if he doesn't shoot for most of a quarter that's fine, he'll get the defense into rotation and then pass it off.
If the Clippers can get PG to stop settling for tough shots all the time, this team will be unbelievable. I love PG, such a beautiful game but there's a reason that despite being a great 3pt shooter, he's never crested 60% TS, he takes a few too many and too many of his other shots are really difficult. When he has it going, he's one of the most unstoppable scorers in the league. He's shooting almost half of his shots from 3 this season, he's not Steph and he's not a 3 and D guy. He needs some of those 3s to change to shots near the basket.
Zubac has been fantastic, he's steadily improved every year of his career and defensively this year, he's at another level. No one seems to be talking about it. He's weaponising his own lack of switchability, knows exactly how to play drop/high drop, knowing how to recover and swat shots from behind. He's of course also scoring very efficiently.
Theis has been a great pickup, plays bigger than he is, more switchable which is scary with Kawhi and PG, and he can shoot the 3 ball.
T Mann has come alive the past few games, scoring more confidently and being a fantastic connector.
Russ has thankfully, not gotten sour on the bench, and remains a phenomenal energiser. His defensive play still seems lively and effective, he's rebounding like crazy and passing quite well he's at almost 10 rebounds and 7 assists per 36.
Norm Powell, what can you say, he's so much fun. Really underrated athlete, he's probably ultimately a starter calibre player. He's at 18 pts per 36 on almost 50, 40, 90 splits. And that's with 6 3s attempted per 36. He's at 63 TS%.
I get why people were critical about the Harden trade but honestly, the obvious hatred for the Clippers is frustrating. I don't have any loyalty to a team but I think it's pathetic to see the bias at work. Even at the start of the season, everyone was so confident about the Lakers with a 39 y/o Bron and a player at least as injury-prone as Kawhi or PG in AD. After that, who do they have, they don't even have another all-star. But everyone loves the Lakers so they'll be great. The Clippers have multiple all-startish players, an All-NBA standard guy in PG and an MVP calibre player in Kawhi. How does that not seem like a contender? The Lakers are good as expected, I just don't get the obvious bias.

I have been a fan of Kawhi since his time with Spurs, I think he is the best 2 way player ever of all time. He was an nba defensive player of the season at some point, and his game has improved in the offensive end tremendously.

He's a top 10 player when he's healthy, but he has to be healthy. If he stays healthy, the Clippers can be a force in the West and Kawhi has proven he can lead a team to the finals. They definitely have a good shot with a full roster to go all the way

i jus hope kawhi stays healthy for the rest of the season, he's my fave player no matter what haters says to him about being a load management since he goes to the Clips. I just love kawhi's playing style he inspires me to practice mid-range jumpers and he's a humble player.

Back then the Clippers issue was a Point Guard. Harden and Russ fill that role. Now Clippers need Zubac, Theias, Plumlee to step up agsinst other bigs.
We saw glimpse Theis and Zubac against Jokic. But we need more sample then we are full complete.
Mann is our current PF. But if he can get more physical we good to. Kobe Brown is a good alternative for now.
