Absolutely beautifully detailed and intricate construction. This boat is as much about the journey of her construction as much the finished product. This is going to be a lovely boat when she is done. I am a huge fan of a proper and gracefully done slipper boat. And this one is going to be top notch!
I can't get excited about a runabout restored and maintained professionally, owned by someone with more money than God, but watching a real person craft something like this for himself is just phenomenal. Truly amazing and inspiring. She will be a gorgeous vessel when finished, and I can't wait to see it.

Absolutely loving the videos and the music... This build takes me back to helping my uncle and grandfather (now passed away) restore my Grand fathers hand-built mahogany boat. (My Grandfather built the boat from scratch at 19 or 20.) The experience was very soothing and frustrating at times and I think your videos capture that experience very well even without saying it... The music makes the video feel very emotional and building boats like this is a rollercoaster of emotion, and makes me remember my grandfather... Thank you!!! P.S. There is a group I think you would really like that you may not have heard of from the early mid 2000"s. They are a called " ZOX" They do alt/pop/punk rock with an electric violin and recreate classic with an upbeat flare!!

Absolutely high end craftsmanship! The use of high strength epoxy resin on the hull with criss crossing wood hull layers will insure a durable bottom can spread the load along the beam.

I made some drastic changes on the design. I'm now adding a sundeck like 620 Bimini de Luxe. It changes the originality but as they say, form follows function.
Huh. I always imagined boat hulls to be made of wood thicker than cardboard but I guess not. I learned something today. 😂👍🏻But it's all reinforced. Beautiful boat ❤

This method is called “cold molding” 3x layer of marine plywood and 2x later fibercloth on top. It is ridiciliously strong.
